The only one on their mind
The first lie of our time
The world moved so fast
So fast I thought this would last
When did the sky get so dark
When did my enough start to lack
I entered this transaction with speed
Never thinking about the things I need
You probably saw this as a fling
Leaving me alone on our swing
Our is a strong word especially when you were never there
Sad is my song because I still keep wishing you were always here
But what can I say even clouds move too fast
In the end we all resort to the past
A time of not knowing with no wrong being done
A field of ever growing and nurturing the sad to come
