What I would give to be at peace
With myself and the world around me.
Acceptance is the key to my door of regrets;
Always misplacing the important keys to my victories.What I would give to say I love myself
Without lying to myself at every breath.
I wrote a book about mental health,
But my anxiety grew stronger in an undying path.What I would give to escape this place,
My mind was displaced, and I fell from grace.
The road was blurry, a line was drawn;
My senses failed me, and I couldn't see the next dawn.What I would give to love freely,
If the world didn't end the next day.
A daisy amidst the thorns, growing from my roots;
A single point, a regrettable choice.What I would give to let everyone experience my life in HD,
Maybe then my actions would be justified.
