Once fell in love but can't remember her face
A distant memory that fades each time i replay
A name so sweet I can't bring my lips to say
Lost the one just because I couldn't stay
Though in my dreams I dream that one day you come
We forget the past like the time that we lost
To jealously and intolerance the bane of our pain
Revolted the thesis and find the joy to regain
I sit on the table and draw hearts around your name
Looked at the lines and a blur was all that remained
Lost myself to loving someone new and tried to play it safe
You got tired of my uncertainty and had to set the scene straight
After digesting my thoughts and lost to someone else new
I fled back to reunite but it seems I lost you too
