Obstacle Fifteen: Walk the Plank

                                        

                                              
This is an obstacle I figured that my brother would have trouble with. He's afraid of heights and this one is climb up and jump off a ledge, 15 feet down into a pit of water where you don't know how deep it is.
                              
I wanted to do a flip off the ledge and into the water but they wouldn't let me. Next year I'm ignoring that jazz and doing a front flip into the water. It's not that I'm not afraid. I got the hesitation up there like most normal people. I just ignore it. Because I am not always smart enough to listen to my survival instinct, although she does speak to me on occasion.
                              
Despite his fear, my brother managed quite well. As did my fiancé. He never admitted to fear, but he did later on say that it was a lot HIGHER once he was up there than it looked like from the bottom.
