Obstacle Eight: Smoke Chute

                                        

                                              
Another new obstacle for me! This one scared the pants of both men. You climb up a ladder and then slide down a smoke filled chute. Sounds simple. The big deal was that this was NOT an angled chute. It went down at a 90 degree angle. They were both afraid that to slide down the chute, they would hit themselves on the board in front of the chute.
                              
Since I am either braver, or more likely, more reckless, I simply braced myself over the edge and slid down, resisting the urge to go WEEEE!
                              
I resisted the urge only because I knew that there was water at the bottom of the chute and I really didn't want to eat/swallow or otherwise endure muddy water in my mouth any more than absolutely necessary. It still smelled like farm animal.
                              
Also, the cold muddy water felt GREAT on my slowly sunburning skin.
