Obstacle Nine: Berlin Walls

Another climbing obstacle. Similar to the Glory Blades, except not  angled this time. 8-9 feet walls straight up and only an itty bitty little lip to try and help you over. Thankfully, I had to males with me to help my ass over the wall. But first, I helped boost my fiancé over the wall and then my brother. Then my fiancé came back around to help me over.

There was an identical wall a few steps away. I helped my brother up and over it, but my fiancé was going to skip this one. He'd hurt himself over the previous wall and didn't want to do that again. He stayed to try and help me over it, but his strength gave out. This was where the lack of training caught up to him. I'm 180 lbs of dense muscle and a gooey layer of winter survival fat. It cushions me when I fall. He braced his hands in the usual 'give me a leg up' format but couldn't resist me when I tried to 'step up' to reach the top of the wall.

So I turned to the next guy I saw, a tall, muscular fellow with no shirt on and asked if I could borrow him. (While my fiancé was right next to me too, now how that didn't cause an inferiority complex in my fiancé is a sole testament to his understanding of how I work. He couldn't help me so I found help. It wasn't a mark against him, he was man enough to realize that I could use a hand from someone else.) So the tall shirtless fellow and his equally tall, well muscled friend (seriously ladies, the man meat at this course was....readily visual) braced themselves at the base of the wall and all but PITCHED me over the edge.

HOLY CRAP those two men were quite able to get me up that wall. To the point that I fell over the edge on the other side. I'm very grateful that I got a hand grip on the top of the wall, even a little, as it got my feet to swing down before my head and I landed kind of feet first although my ass was a close runner up.

The boys were concerned for me (my two male folk and the two he-men that tossed me over) but I know how to fall and away we went.
