The drive to school wasn't that long. It usually took me ten minutes and blasting some Bad Religion made it go by way too fast. I needed some loud music to wake me up. Keep in mind that I had to sacrifice half an hour of my precious sleep.
After I found a parking spot I headed inside. I was barely on time. Finding a parking spot when you're a little late is not the easiest thing.
I'd always leave the house at the last moment so being late was something that happened more often than I'd like to admit. But I swear it's only because it was hard to find a parking spot!
Today, I made it on time. Barely. I guess I could always bribe teachers with cookies.
Not gonna happen. Ever. Food is sacred. Food must not be shared with evil people that give you homework.
My first class was math. My feelings towards math are neutral. With math it's like people love it or hate it with a passion, there's no middle ground. I'm the exception I guess.
I went to my locker to get my books. The halls were already clearing. Yawning I made my way to class.
"It's monday morning and Jill is on time? It's a miracle!" You'd think a student said that right? Wrong. It was my teacher. He's a middle aged man with big glasses and brown curly hair. He looked like an old science nerd to be honest.
I could imagine he was one of those embarrassing dads. He wanted his students to call him George. Was there ever a teacher in hi온라인카지노게임 that wanted their pupils to call them by their first name? He tried to be cool and be 'one of us'. The fact that he was a math teacher made it impossible.
"I know! Do I get a sticker now?" I asked with a fake enthusiasm. FYI, he was exaggerating. I was usually on time. Well... on Monday it was kind of a 50/50 chance.
"Nope. I'd say you don't have to do your homework but you don't do that anyway so..." He gave me a very judgy look. I didn't believe in homework. I mean, I paid attention in class and I got the material, that should be enough.
Okay well I didn't always pay attention in class. Especially this one, since, you know, it was Monday morning.
I've learned that teachers didn't really care if you do your homework as long as your grades are high enough. Luckily I was blessed with smart parents. And apparantly smart parents make smart babies. At least, in my case.
"Right. I'm gonna take a seat now." I had to remove myself from the situation before it got awkward. Like I said, George wanted to fit in and I didn't feel like making small talk.
Sighing I went to the back and sat down. I didn't have friends in this class so this was gonna be boring.
My classes were all advanced. Yep, that was because of the smart genes. Is it cocky to call yourself smart? I think it's because of my good memory. When I'm in class I only have to hear something once and then it's locked in that little head of mine. Even when I wasn't really paying attention, somehow I'd remember. And it's not like the material was hard or anything. I just got it.
In elementary school it was worse. They'd asked me to skip a grade. My parents encouraged me to do so but they said it was my decision. I didn't really want to. I had all my friends in my class and the 'older' kids kinda scared me. Hey, don't judge me, I was like nine years old.
I'm very grateful I'd decided not to skip a year because if I had, that would mean I'd be in college right now. Something I definitely wasn't ready for.
Oh god I'm going to sound like a geek right now but I liked a lot. I think I'm a mix of my parents. Like I'd said before, my mom is a lab rat. She loves science. So do I. Especially biology and chemistry. My dad, on the other hand, is the head of a law firm. I think law is pretty interesting too.
At least, what my dad told me about it. He sometimes lets me see his books and explains his cases. Psychology is interesting too.
So, if a biology-chemistry-law-psychology major exists. Let me know.
Things were a little different now. I didn't pay much attention in class and like I'd said before, I didn't believe in homework. I just liked to have fun and I didn't care too much about school. At least my grades weren't slipping. I mean, my mom gave me a look when I get an A-. Yep, A-. Ridiculous right? Most parents would throw a party but my mom would give me the look.
The bell rang when I was falling asleep. Great. Life didn't want me to sleep today.
Classes were going by very slow so by the time it was lunch I was ready to escape this prison. But I didn't. See? And they call me a bad girl.
It was still warm enough to eat outside. My friends and I always sat down beneath a tree in the grass at lunch. Well, when it wasn't raining. So... not that often.
By the time I got outside I noticed most of my friends were already sitting by the tree.
"Jill! Get your butt here!" Hmm... maybe I should introduce you to my friends. Either that or it was gonna be very hard to keep up with the conversation.
The guy that so graciously called me over? That's Cody. Don't ever call him Cody. For reasons unknown he doesn't like it, so everyone calls him Code. 'Cause that's such a big difference from Cody. Not.
He has an average height and has a cute face. Yes, cute. He hates it so I like to call him Cutie. And before you start, no, not a love interest or anything, he's more like a brother to me. He has short caramel colored hair and blue eyes.
He was wearing a Misfits shirt and black pants with converse. He usually wore something like that.
Then there's Jake. Jake is ... special. He got dropped on his head a lot as a baby. No, just kidding. He's a player though. First thing he said to me? He said we should get together because Jake and Jill just sounds meant to be.
Yeah, I wam one of the few girls that didn't fell for his charms. He usually doesn't keep girls longer than a week. Yet they still fall for him. I guess they wanted to save him or something.
Jake is what you call the bad boy player. He looks older than he is because he always has a dark brown five o'clock shadow present on his face and the hair on his head is just as long. His eyes are very dark, almost black.
He was wearing a white shirt and a black leather jacket, blue jeans and biker boots. He, unlike me, has a motorcycle. So jealous! Yes, bad boy with motorcycle. He's like a walking cliche.
He looks dangerous. I really didn't see it (except for the motorcycle). Sometimes girls would talk to me because they know he's my friend and they secretly hope I'd set them up. As if.
And then there's Snake. He has brown eyes and brown short hair. He's huge, like 6'2" or something and bulky. Is it all muscle? Yes and no. He likes food too. Why is he called Snake? He has a huge snake tattoo on his neck.
Kidding, jeez. There's no horror 온라인카지노게임 there. Once someone released a snake in class. I guess it was supposed to be a prank or something. Everyone was scared, I heard someone pissed their pants but I wasn't in that class so I wouldn't know. I sincerely hope that rumor is true though.
Anyway, Snake was the only one brave enough to take the snake away. That's how he got his nickname. Eventually "that snake guy" turned into Snake.
I plopped down on the grass and noticed the guys eyeing my cookie containers.
"Your mom?" Code nodded towards the containers.
"Yep." I continued opening the containers. I'd secretly ate a few during classes. I had to keep myself occupied somehow.
"Work stress?" Code asked. Ah, my friends know my family. They'd eaten a lot of my mom's cookies.
"Yep." I gave everyone a cookie and they started eating happily. I rolled my eyes at the sight. Boys.
"They're good. Could use a little more sugar though." Snake said while chewing on his cookie. He knows his food. He loves cooking and wants to be a chef. He'd made us food many times before and I gotta say, the kid knows how to cook. And who was I to turn down food?
Code's parents own a restaurant and Snake works there during the weekends. He's very committed. You wouldn't expect that from a big bear of a guy now wouldn't you?
"I'll pass it along. How was the weekend guys?" I asked.
Usually I hung out with them during the weekend, but I'd stayed with my dad and we had some quality time since we didn't see each other that often. That sounds mushy, doesn't it? We just watched some TV together and talked.
"I was just working." Snake shrugged. He acted like he didn't care but we all knew how much he loved working at the restaurant.
"GTA." That was all Code said. "That's it?" I swear he could just game the entire day.
"Well, at one point I had to get up to pee. Oh and food." He's such a productive guy.
I noticed Jake had a smirk on his face. Oh no, that meant trouble.
"Okay, spill." I looked as if I was bored but to be honest, Jake's stories amused me.
"Yay! Okay, so I met this chick at the gas station because my baby needed some fuel." He calls his bike baby. He loves that thing more than the girls he dates.
"I'm telling you, she was hot. She didn't look too smart either." He was genuinly happy remembering this. He looked like a kid in a candy store.
"Hot and dumb. Isn't that your favorite combination?" I asked. The guy really had no shame, he wasn't even offended by this. No, he seemed proud.
"You know it. Although hot and smart is my type too." He shot me a wink. He would literally hit on anything with boobs.
"In your dreams honey. So what happened?" Snake and Code were focused on their food. I guess they'd already heard the 온라인카지노게임.
"The girl asked if I wanted to take her for a ride." It was pretty obvious he didn't remember her name. It wouldn't surprise me if he'd never learned her name in the first place.
"Being my awesome self I asked if she meant me or the bike. The chick got confused so I just told her to hop on." He rolled his eyes and had a big grin on his face.
"Wait now I'm confused. Did you mean hop on you or the bike?" I interrupted. The guys laughed and Code poked me. What? You weren't wondering the same thing?
"Both. So I gave her the spare helmet and she didn't really know how to put it on. I mean it's a helmet, just put it on your head." He rolled his eyes. "She hopped on the bike - not me unfortunately - and I started driving."
Code was laughing now. I guess the 온라인카지노게임 was starting to get interesting now.
"This has got to be one of my favorite stories." Code said, grabbed another cookie and listened enthusiastically. He could get any girl he wanted but he wasn't really a player. Well, he was. But the only games he played were on his PS3 or Xbox.
"Code! No spoilers!" I nudged him while he rolled his eyes.
"Do you want me to continue or what?" Jake asked, pretending to be irritated.
"Continue!" Code and I said in perfect harmony.
Jake chuckled. "Okay so there I was, driving my baby with this chick on the back. I didn't really know where to go so I decided to just head to the highway so I could go faster. When we got there I picked up the speed and I guess blondie was getting a little scared because she grabbed me a little tighter."
Code snorted.
"Then her hands travelled lower and before I know it she unzips my pants and she grabs my di-"
"Okay okay I don't need to hear more." I said. I liked his stories, but the details? No thanks.
By now we were all laughing. I wish I could say this was his craziest 온라인카지노게임 but I would be lying.
"What's so funny?" Gwen sat down beside me and Snake. She'd moved here last year and she'd been a good friend ever since.
I welcomed her immediately because being the only girl in your friend group could get exhausting. Gwen was wearing dark green skinny jeans, black flats and a lacey black peplum top. She looked like a freaking model and she could pull of everything. She has blue eyes and they looked like a panda. She was sporting a smokey eye. I never used that much makeup, but Gwen loved it.
Her hair was something else ... I don't even know how to describe it honestly.
Her hair is long and straight and she has ombre hair. At the top it's a very dark blue and at the end it's like a see blue-green color. She looks like a freaking mermaid. Her sister is a hair dresser and she likes to experiment with hairdye. Gwen let's her do it with pleasure.
"Jake was just telling one of his adventures. Cookie?" I handed her one of the last cookies. Those guys could eat.
"Your mom?" She looked concerned. "Yep. It's just work though." I replied. She sighed, relieved.
I liked Gwen, she was a kind person. She worried a bit too much though.
And just like that lunch period was over. Way too soon.
I was walking towards school when someone grabbed my arm. "Wait" Code said, looking around suspiciously.
"Yeah?" I asked. Why was he acting like he was on a secret mission or something? The dude played too many games this weekend I think.
"You coming over after school? We still have to decide what to buy Snake for his birthday." I rolled my eyes. Exciting secret mission.
"Hey! Are you guys sneaking around? Let's make it a threesome!" Jake wiggled his eyes.
I pushed Jake aside, rolling my eyes. "No we're discussing Snake's birthday so be a good boy and distract him so he doesn't overhea.r"
He smirked "How are you gonna reward me for being a good boy?" That was Jake. Sexual innuendos galore.
I got closer to him bringing my mouth to his ear. "Well let's just say that if you don't I will chop little Jakey with a big knife." I smiled and noticed Code was laughing.
"Jilly, there's nothing little about my Jakey. Want me to show you?" He shot back. I sighed. I had to hand it to him, he never gave up.
"Just get out of here or I will start a rumor that you giggle like a little girl when you get tickled." Code said looking very serious.
"Dude! You promised to never tell!" Jake looked anxious and walked away. Code and I burst out laughing, giving each other a high five. "That always does it" I said, still laughing.
"Anyway, to answer your question. I'll come over after dinner okay?" I said, answering his question about Snake's birthday gift. Code and I loved to buy original gifts for our friends so we always took the time to discuss them. The others couldn't be bothered by it.
He nodded and we went our seperate ways.
One more hour. One more hour and this school day would be over. Here I was, thinking this time would never come!
Luckily it was AP Biology. I didn't mind being in this class. I sat down next to Kate.
"Psst." Kate nudged me. "Why are you whispering? Class hasn't even begun" I laughed.
Kate was my stepsister. Well, not officially but she was the daughter of the woman my dad was dating. They hadn't tied the knot or anything. Honestly, I don't think they ever will. My dad says getting a divorce is such a hassle. Not only has he gone through one, but he deals with them regularly at work.
Two years ago my dad started seeing Elizabeth. I got along with her just fine. No bad step mother complex or anything. No hard feeling either. My parents divorced when I was only seven. When things were starting to get serious between dad and Beth she introduced her daughter, Kate, to me. We immediately got along.
It's weird because she's very girly and she's part of the popular group in school. I figured she would ignore me at school since talking to me would be social suicide. I was, after all, the bad girl.
She didn't care about all of that and talked to me whenever she would see me. At first her friends would look at me like I had a skin disease, but after a while they didn't care anymore. It was nice knowing someone very girly and she would gossip about her friends when we got together. Their drama was very amusing. Apparently one of her friends cried when she broke a fake nail. Cried.
Kate was a beautiful girl with blonde curly hair that was usually in a braid and big blue eyes. She kinda looks like Taylor Swift. Last year she went to a halloweenparty dressed in a flower dress and cowboy boots and she would randomly start singing Taylor Swift songs. It was really funny.
"When are you coming over again? I can't believe I wasn't home when you were!" Kate whined. Like I'd said, I didn't go to my dad often. He lives about ten minutes away so I usually pop by for a few hours every week. I rarely stay over an entire weekend, but when I do, Kate and I always have sleepovers.
"I know! It sucked not hearing my fix of gossip! I'll come around soon, I promise."
She smiled, seeming genuinly happy with my answer.
"You better!" She turned around again because class was starting. She always payed attention in class, especially biology. Sometimes I'd tutor her when she struggled. Although I think she sometimes uses it as an excuse to see me. That made me happy.
After a long hour the bell rang. Oh my god. I was free! I had survived monday, what a glorious feeling.
I went to my car, munching on the last cookie. Is it possible to OD on cookies?
