Part 45

Sai came to the police headquarters. Satya couldn't help himself but hug her, seeing her safe and after so long time. Sai hugged him back too, feeling all her worries leaving her, after all that happened, she might still have the chance to live her dream with the love of her life. But for that, she had to convince Satya to raid Virat's mansion for the final battle.

Satya started explaining his plan. "Sai jo kuch tumne hume bataya. Uske according ye sahi mauka hai police raid karne ka. I have decided that we will also raid at Virat's mansion with our police force. Patnaik, ismail aur Virat, hume teen gangster ek hi sath, ek hi jagah milenge. Hum sabko ek sath khatm kar sakte hain. Isse achha mauka hume nahi milega." Satya explained.

Sai smiled after listening this. He was all up for it, she didn't need much convincing. "Bilkul sahi kaha tumne Satya. Mujhe to lagne laga tha ki ye mission adhura hi reh jayega."

"Par sir, itna bada raid plan karna hai, hume soch samajh ke kadam uthane chahiye. Hum kal is raid ko plan karte hain." Inspector Mohit suggested.

Karishma countered him. "Lekin, Sai ki information ke according toh Ismail aur Patnaik Virat par aaj hi attack karenge. Isliye hume bhi aaj hi action lena hoga."

Ajinkya also supported her. "Aur jaisa ki Satya sir ne explain kiya, we don't have time. Tomorrow if the ruling govt. will fall and then our mission will be suspended. Ye mafias bach niklenge hamare haath se."

"Yes, this is the golden opportunity to end all the three gangster at once. So lets do it team." Satya replied and ordered everyone to double check the weapons and bullets. He then addressed the large police force to organize for final summary. As they were about to leave, Sai stopped Satya.

Sai told him with determination. "I will also come with you."

"No, it will be a dangerous mission. I cant allow you..." Satya said but Sai held his hand.

"This is not only your mission alone. I have contributed equally to it. I have provided all the information. I have fulfilled my promise now its time for you to fulfill your promise....remember? You promised me, only I will kill Virat Chavan." Sai reminded him.

"How could I ever forget what you have done for us, for this mission. In fact without you, this mission was impossible and I didn't forget my promise." Satya smiled at her in gratitude.

"Then let me come with you." Sai insisted.

"Sai, why don't you understand, tumhari jaan ko khatra ho sakta hai. Waha charo taraf goliya chal rahi hongi, aise mein tum..." Satya try to make her understand but Sai interrupted him.

"You try to understand, Satya. Jab tak main Virat ko marker apna maksad pura nahi kar leti tab tak mujhe chain nahi milega, main kabhi move on nahi kar paungi. Please, tum mujhe apne sath aane do, tum bas apna promise yaad rakhna. Koi Virat ko hath nahi lagayega, usko sirf main apne haatho se marungi." Sai repeated.

Finally Satya agreed seeing her resolve. He then instructed the force that no one will target Virat Chavan till he gives them orders.

"Happy now, only you will get to kill him." He asked and Sai nodded in yes wiping her tears.

"Thank you so much for trusting me. Tum nahi hote toh ye sab kabhi possible nahi ho pata." Sai said getting emotional.

"You have risked your everything for this mission. I can do this much for you." Satya assured her.

Soon, Patnaik and Ismail attacked Virat's mansion with their goons. They came in open jeeps. They were firing blindly everywhere from their latest guns. Virat ordered his men for counter attack. They were only 25 of them but since they knew about the attack they were well prepared and hiding themselves. They hid the mines and bombs around the whole garden area and as soon as the jeeps came in contact with them they were blasted killing a lot of their men at once.

Then Virat's men knew the place very well, they were at upper hand and they were firing on others hiding behind the key positions from where they could see others but were not visible to them.

Patnaik was leading some men inside the bunglow as he got glimpse of Virat inside. Virat very smartly lured him inside and then threw a grenade at them. All his men were killed except one and Patnaik also somehow managed to run in time. Patnaik immediately ran outside to call more men but Virat blocked his way finally appearing in front of him. Patnaik's man tried to protect him but Virat handled him easily and then killed Patnaik.

Ismail saw this, now only he was left. He was scared, he called more men from outside which he kept on standby and finally his men overpowered Virat's men. Now only few of Virat's men were left and Ismail still had lot of them. Virat saw Ismail and was about to target him when Ismail's men attacked him and held him on the gun point.

Virat and all his men were now surrounded by Ismail and his goons. "Toh aa hi gaya uth pahad ke neeche. Bahut pareshan kiya tune Virat Chavan lekin ab bari meri hai." Ismail said and pointed his gun at Virat.

Samrat and Virat tried a lot to turn the situation somehow in their favour but they were too less in numbers now. But suddenly luck favoured them and police force came there, disrupting the scene. Satya ordered to fire at the goons.

Everyone again got scattered saving their life and Virat and Samrat took advantage of the situation and hide in the mansion. Many goons were killed in police attack.

When the firing finally stopped there were several dead and injured people scattered on the ground. Satya noticed that Ismail and Virat were nowhere to be seen.

"Find Ismail and Virat, they must be hiding somewhere in the house." Satya ordered.

Some police men started searching for them in the house while some got busy in identifying the dead and injured people as ambulances were called on the spot. Ajinkya caught Samrat. He tried to attack Samrat but  he was quick and injured Ajinkya. Finally Ajinkya arrested him with the help of others. Virat's last support was gone.

When Satya was sure that situation is under control, he called Sai who was sitting outside in the police jeep only for safety.

"You can come in, everything is under control here. Virat and Ismail are hiding somewhere in this house only. Soon, my officers will find them. Now, I am giving you the chance. As soon as my officers bring Virat out, you can kill him. I'll manage the reports, calling it an encounter like many others today." Satya explained.

Sai came inside. As she was moving towards Satya, suddenly out of nowhere Ismail jumped in front of her and held her at gun point.

"Officer, drop your weapons or I will kill this girl." Ismail warned Satya.

Seeing that Ismail has Sai at gunpoint Virat also came outside in open from his hideout. "Leave her you mother f***ker or else I will cut you into so many pieces that your family wont be able to even bury your body properly." Virat warned him.

"Oh! Finally, lover boy came out. I will kill her in front of you mercilessly." Ismail said but Satya interrupted him.

"Leave this girl alone. She is innocent, she has not done anything to you."

"Arre kya baat hai ladki, tere toh do do aashiq hain yaha par." Ismail commented and laughed.

"Bakwas band kar Ismail aur Sai ko chhod de." Satya repeated.

"Then let me get out of here. Officer, ask your men to give me clear passage or else she will die." Ismail warned and Satya ordered all the remaining officers to put down their guns.

Ismail took Sai on the gunpoint and sat in a jeep and ran away with few of his men who were injured but alive. Before Satya could have understood anything Virat jumped on inspector Mohit and held him at the gun point.

"Officer, let me also go after Ismail or else I will kill him." Satya nodded in yes worried for Mohit's life.

Virat took him towards another jeep and pushed him hard on the ground then ran and followed Ismail's jeep. Finally Satya also sat in a police van with Mohit and Karishma and followed them. As most of the police men were also injured in counter firing so was Ajinkya, he had to stay back with them, taking charge of the situation and arresting the remaining goons.

The chase ended when Ismail reached tiger hill, a small cliff in the outer skirts of city when his jeep tyre was punctured by the bullet Virat fired at them. Virat also stopped his jeep and jumped out followed by Satya and his team. Again there was firing from the goons and the Police.

Mohit got hit in the arm and fell down due to which he got head injury and passed out. Karishma targeted Ismail but he dodged and fired at her. Satya saved her by pulling her aside but Ismail fired again and this time she got bullet on her leg and fell down writhing in pain. Soon she also passed out due to excessive pain and blood loss.

When Ismail was distracted due to fight with Karishma, Sai somehow got free from his hold and tried to run towards Satya. Ismail looked around all his men were killed. He was alone now.

Only four people left for the final showdown, Ismail, Satya, Virat and Sai. Ismail fired at Virat's hand and he lost his gun because of it. Then Ismail saw Sai running towards Satya. He pointed his gun towards her, both Virat and Satya ran to save her. Satya being closer reached to her first and jumped in front of her to save her. Satya got hit in his right shoulder and his gun fell down from his hands.

"You b***tard! If you would not have come then I would have been successful in killing Virat Chavan, you ruined everything with your police raid." Ismail said and kicked Satya repeatedly. He shot another bullet in his leg and Satya screamed in pain.

"Ispe apna gussa kyu nikal rahe ho? Apni kamjoriyo ko dusre ki galtiyo ke peechhe chhupana toh tumahari purani aadat hai." Virat said as he had picked up his gun again and came and stood behind Ismail.

Ismail turned towards him in shock and Virat punched him in the face repeatedly then before Ismail could stand properly Virat shot him in the stomach. Ismail fell down on the ground and Virat sighed in relief seeing that all his enemies are finally dead. He then turned towards injured Satya.

"Hmm....waise to tumne time par aakar ek tarah se meri help hi ki hai but ho to tum policewale hi jisne mere upar attack kiya, iske liye tumhe zinda to nahi chhod sakte." Virat said and lastly pointed his gun at Satya who was already on the ground due to his injuries.

But before Virat could have shot him, he rolled and kicked Virat at his knees. Virat lost his balance and his gun fell down far away from his reach. Satya again rolled and pushed his own gun which was lying near him towards Sai and urged her to take a shot and kill Virat. Sai immediately picked up the gun and pointed it at Virat.

"What are you waiting for Sai? He is in front of you. Jis pal ka tumhe intezar tha wo aa gaya hai, karlo apna maksad pura." Satya encouraged her.

Sai hesitated in pulling trigger.

Virat taunted Sai. "You have already killed me emotionally by betraying me....now you will kill me physically also? You will kill the only love of your life, the father of your baby...what will you tell our child when he will asked how his father died?"

Satya was first shocked from the revelation that Sai was really pregnant. He thought she used to visit the hospital only because she might be pretending to be pregnant. He was hurt by this news. His heart broke but then he took a deep breath. He always knew what are the stakes in this mission, what are the risks involved. He was the one who wanted her to be close to Virat, earn his trust and carry on this mission at any cost. Now how could he blame her?

Sai looked nervously at Satya. He assured her. "Don't worry, Sai. Mujhe is sab se koi fark nahi padta. Tum apna kaam pura karo. Yaad hai, tumne hi mujhe time time par motivate kiya tha ye mission continue rakhne ke liye, ab tum khud peechhe nahi hat sakti."

Sai nodded her head in yes and tighten her hold on gun. Virat saw this and taunted her yet again. "Oh, tumne isse na jane kya kya vaade kar rakhe hain. Kamaal hai Sai, ek taraf mujhe bewakoof banati rahi aur dusri taraf ise na jane kya patti padha kar rakhi hai tumne. Maine tumhe bahut underestimate kiya."

Satya was no less, he too kept encouraging her. "Sai, this is what you always wanted. I have kept my promise. I have left him alive many times even though I had many chances to kill him. I left him just to honour my promise. Now you cant disappoint me. Kill him."

Sai still hesitated.

Virat decided to put one last attempt. "All our enemies are dead. You wanted us to have family right? Now its our chance....you, me and our baby...we will live together." Virat gave her hope.

Sai was lost for few seconds as Virat mentioned her dream. Virat tried to come close to her but Sai became alert again.

"Virat, don't come near me. I will shoot you." Sai warned.

Satya was happy that she didn't came under emotional manipulation. "Very good, Sai. Iski baaton mein mat aana. Shoot him."

Sai put her fingers on the trigger as she prepared to shoot.

"You will shoot me? Stop this nonsense. We both know you cant do it. You love me so much. Come on now, give me the gun and come to me." Virat said and extended his hand towards her.

Sai looked at his hand and then at Satya.

"Come to me....jaan...we will be together...forever." Virat said again and Sai closed her eyes as she finally become emotional on listening 'jaan' from his mouth again.

But then she looked at Satya again and he remind her what she said to him once. 'Virat will not change ever. This mess will only end with his death.' Time to fulfill it Sai."

She wiped her tears quickly and looked with determination in Virat's direction. She closed her eyes for brief moment and open them again as she knew what to do. She took deep breath and unlocked the gun. She straightened her hands and pressed the trigger firing in Virat's direction and Satya finally sighed in relief.

The bullet came out from the gun and hit the target straight into the head, killing him on the spot. There was silence everywhere. Satya closed his eyes; feeling satisfied that his mission is finally complete. Sai lowered her hands let out a deep sigh.

Ismail, who was not dead yet by Virat's bullet and somehow managed to stand up and grab his gun to shoot Virat, was standing just behind Virat and got hit in the head by Sai's bullet, dying on the spot.

Virat gasped and turned around to see whom she killed. He then looked back at Sai who had now came very close to him and looking right back into his eyes, with a gun in her hands. Satya, who opened his eyes after few moments also looked up again, confused what has happened. Virat is still alive, it was Ismail whom Sai shot down.

Sai put her gun at Virat's forehead then traced his face with it and stopped at his heart. "Hmm, where do you preferred to get shot Virat Chavan? In head or in heart?" Sai asked.

"You don't need a gun, jaan...when you can kill me with your eyes." Virat said and took the gun from her hands easily.

Virat winked and pulled her in his arms while Sai took his lips in hers kissing him passionately. Virat also responded with equal vigor while Satya looked at them totally stunned.

A smile broke out on Sai's lips and Virat's too, after they pulled apart. Soon Sai started laughing loudly. Virat also started laughing out loud. Both were laughing like some maniacs.

"You....you scared me for few seconds when you took that shot on Ismail." Virat said between his laughter.

"Just having some fun baby. Tumne bhi toh mujhe ek second ke liye dara diya tha jab Jagtap ke samne mujhe marne wale the. Consider this my revenge." She replied.

"Jaan, ye koi waqt tha majaak ka? Faltu mein itne der ka suspense banaye rakha, drama karke tum thaki nahi ab tak?" Virat asked.

"It was just fun, aur tum bhi toh full character mein ghuse hue the. Aur waise bhi ye confused, emotionally tormented Sai ka drama karte karte bahut bore ho gayi thi. Socha kuch thrill create karu." Sai replied and giggled.

"You naughty girl. Dekho tumhare drame se is bechare ki kya haalat hui hai. Shock mein chala gaya hai." Virat pointed at Satya and laughed looking at his expressions.

"Ye....ye sab kya hai, Sai? It means you changed sides, after all." Satya commented as the realization dawned upon him.

"No you fool, she didnt changed sides. She was always on my side." Virat informed and chuckled when he heard a gasp from Satya.

"Toh ye sab natak tha?" Satya couldnt help but ask.

"Yes, sab natak tha sirf ek sach ko chhodkar ki ye sab maine apne pyar ke liye kiya, apne sapne ke liye kiya. I did this so that I can live my dream with my true love and that is, one and only, my Virat." Sai informed and kissed Virat once again. She couldnt believe finally all their enemies are dead and they are together with their baby, their symbol of love growing inside her.
