Part 39

Flashback

Year 2017

Jagtap was shocked to hear Sai's allegations on Virat. She was holding him responsible for everything.

"Ye sab kya ho gaya, Virat? Ye Sai tumse aisa kyu keh rahi thi?" Jagtap questioned.

"Jabse usne bachha khoya hai tab se yahi haal hai. Bas ek hi zidd pakad rakhi hai that she wants to breakup with me. She wants to go away from my life." Virat informed.

"Virat, I think tujhe usko jane dena chahiye. Ho sakta hai tujhse thode time durr rehkar wo theek ho jaye." Jagtap advised.

"Aur agar nahi hui toh? Yunhi jaane doon usko khud se durr? Nahi, aisa nahi ho sakta." Virat had rejected the idea.

Its been few months now, Sai's condition was still the same. The arguments and fights between Sai and Virat had only increased with time. They had even stopped looking at each other. Sai had even try to leave his house but Virat didn't let her. Since then, she was on house arrest.

"Its been months now, I think we should go back to Mexico." Jagtap advised.

"But my work here is not completed. I want to destroy all of those mafias completely." Virat answered back.

"You have already caused them lots of losses but in return, our gang our resources has also suffered. We cant take any chances now. And besides this, I have already told you about Marco right? I feel he is turning against us. You need to be there to salvage the situation. Mujhe lagta hai koi to Marco ko hamare khilaaf bhadka raha hai." Jagtap made him understand.

"Fine, make necessary arrangements for here and book tickets for three of us." Virat instructed.

"I am not going with you anywhere now. I am leaving you. We are over Virat Chavan, kaunsi bhasha mein tumhe samjhaun? You killed my baby. I don't want to see your face ever." Sai yelled at him.

She was carrying her bags with her. She marched towards the gate but two of Virat's men at the gate blocked her way. She turned around to see Virat has gestured them to do so.

Sai vent out her frustration. "Kyu rakha hua hai mujhe yaha bina meri marzi ke? Jane kyu nahi dete mujhe. Nahi rehna mujhe tumhare sath, tumhe samajh mein kyu nahi aata?"

Virat totally ignored her arguments like it didn't even matter to him. "Its good you packed your bags. We are leaving tomorrow for the Mexico, go back to your room now." Virat said calmly.

"Don't pretend as if everything is alright between us. I don't wanna live with you. Let me go." Sai protested.

"Shut up! Just shut the f**k up. Itne mahine se bardasht kar raha hoon main. But enough is enough. Did you forget? It was you who decided to walk into my life. I had warned you, once you come, you will not be able to walk out." Virat asked.

"I remember....but at that time....I said yes because I never wanted to be out of your love....but now....there is no love left in me....it died with my baby." Sai wiped her tears.

"I don't care what you think, what you feel....you are mine and I'll decide what to do about you....and I have decided that you will be with me....whether you like it or not. Pyar bankar na sahi toh zidd bankar sahi, rahogi toh tum mere sath hi. So just shut the f**k up and go back inside." Virat warned. Sai just walked back having no other option.

"Ye kya keh raha hai tu Virat? Pyar bankar na hi sahi toh zidd bankar sahi? Kya matlab hai iska? Really! It has come down to this now? Kya ab tu Sai se pyar nahi karta?" Jagtap questioned.

"I don't know, I don't know anything now. Is ladki ne mera dimag kharab kar rakha hai itne time se. Samajhne ko taiyyar hi nahi hai. Lekin ek baat to tay hai, Virat Chavan koi roadside romeo nahi hai jisse jab dil caha breakup karke chhod kar chali gayi. Agar ye ziddi hai, toh main isse jyada ziddi hoon. Chahe iski khushi isme hai ya nahi, I don't care. Lekin rehna toh ise yahi hoga, mere sath." Virat made his decision clear.

"Virat, this is not the way to treat her. Let her go if she wants to. This is not right to held her captive." Jagtap tried to make him understand.

"Stay out of it. Its between me and her. She belongs to me and I know how to take care of my things." Virat replied.

"This is not true love." Jagtap shook his head dejectedly.

"You can give it any name. Call it obsession, addiction or whatever you want but I will not let her go." Virat said and then left before Jagtap could say anything further.

Jagtap decided to check upon Sai. "Jagtap, you are my friend right? Help get me out of here. Virat....he is changed...ab wo woh Virat nahi raha jise maine pyar kiya tha. Dekha na tumne, kaisa junoon sawaar hai uske sar par. Hamare beech jo pyar tha wo toh kabka khatam ho gaya lein wo manna hi nahi chahta.....I don't love him anymore. He is keeping me with him just to satisfy his ego. He doesn't care for me." Sai pleaded for help.

"Sai, you know I cant help you. Virat will be angry if he ever comes to know that I helped you." Jagtap expressed his inability to help.

He turned to look again at Sai. She looked so helpless. He sighed and left from there.

They have returned to the Mexico. Things were worse than Virat had thought. His business partner, Marco not only turned into their enemy but also sabotaged their business, allies and network here. Virat had tried to save the situation by talking to Marco but things went out of control when Marco lure him into a trap on pretext of a meeting and then tried to kill him. Somehow Virat survived the attack.

Virat immediately knew that this place is not safe anymore. But he was not the one to run away like this. He would teach a lesson to that Marco. But before that he needed to sent Sai away to a safe place. With some of his men, he sent Sai to the airport to board the flight for Dubai. He and Jagtap would join her after taking care of this Marco here.

Virat and Jagtap was planning on killing Marco when Virat found out that Marco sent his men to abduct Sai but she ran away from the airport. He panicked and ordered all of his men to find her somehow. He got the information that she was in their farm house in outskirts of Mexico city. He went there and asked Jagtap to be ready for the backup if needed. Virat reached there. He and Sai had a huge fight again but suddenly Marco's men attacked them. Virat fought back alone. He chased them and killed them one by one. But by the time he returned he saw Sai driving the car and trying to run away from there then suddenly she lost control and her car fell in the valley.

When Jagtap came running there to help him he found him screaming. "Saaiiii" Virat slumped down on the floor helplessly, watching love of his life going down in the deep valley with her car.

"What just happened?" Jagtap asked in disbelief.

"I lost her....she died. ....her car fell into the valley. My Sai is no more." Virat said and Jagtap was stunned for few seconds that he couldn't even react. Then he ran to the edge of valley and saw deep down a car was burning. No body could be alive after falling from this height. He closed his eyes and let his eyes shed tears on Sai's death.

Present time

Jagtap came out of past memories when he heard his phone was ringing. Before he could pick up, call disconnected. He wiped off his tears and also sweat as he finally came on conclusion that yes, whatever love Sai had for Virat might have ended or may be her hatred and pain had become more than her love, because she wouldn't have pull that fake death stunt if she cared for him even a bit. So yes, she was now capable of cheating him, working against him with police.

His phone again rang and this time he took it. He saw the caller's name. It was from Bhawani kaku.

"Kaku, how are you?" Jagtap asked.

"Wo sab chhod. Kaam ki baat sun. Virat ko try kar rahi hoon but contact nahi ho pa raha hai. After Anna and Omi bhau's death, Ismail and Patnaik has called for the peace treaty again. Inform Virat. After what they did last time, I will not pressurize him for it but ask him to think about it." Bhawani cut the call after telling him the time and place.

Jagtap suddenly stood up with new energy as he got an idea to know about real intentions of Sai and trap her.
