Flashback

Year 2017

Peace treaty meeting at Bhawani's waadi

"Stop attacking us." Omi bhau said in anger after there seemed to be no solution to their dispute.

"You should have thought about it before you all decided to betray me." Virat answered back.

"You had left no option for us. You were interfering way too much." Patnaik argued back.

"So what? Dont forget, you all were nothing before I decided to help you. I made you what you are today. So you have to abide by my rules and what was I asking for....just not to break some of my principles." Virat asked back.

"Underworld ke koi niyam, kayde aur usool nahi hote. Toh phir hum kyu tumhare usool par chalte?" Omi bhau asked back.

"Don't forget, underworld is Virat Chavan and Virat Chavan is himself underworld. Yaha ke niyam, kayde aur ussol main banata hoon aur tum logo ko ye manne hi honge. Aur waise aisa bhi koi mushkil kaam nahi tha jo tum log kar na sako. What was I asking for? No trafficking of girls into prostitution, no sale of drugs outside schools, no dealings in fake currency or separatist groups....all this would not have affected your businesses that much." Virat said.

"Ye crime ki duniya hai, yaha tum standards nahi set kar sakte ki kya kitna galat hai aur kya hume nahi karna chahiye. Hamara ek hi aim hona chahiye, jyada se jyada paisa aur power." Omi bhau declared.

"Ye sab main nahi jaanta. Meri protection aur sarparasti chahiye to mere rules follow karne padenge. Phir chahe wo tumhe sahi lage ya galat. Aur waise toh ab in sab baato ka kya fayda...I don't need you guys anymore." Virat smoked his cigar and exhaled the smoke on their faces as he looked at them with attitude.

"Yes, why would you need us now, you have created your own parallel network in all the core areas, you cheated us....you back stabber." Anna stood up in anger and tried to hold Virat's throat.

"I did that because I didn't have trust on you scumbags. I knew you would betray me one day." Virat held Anna's hand and jerked him away.

"Guys, Stop it. This is peace treaty...there is no need to repeat everything here." Bhawani advised.

"Right, we should discuss terms of agreement." Lala agreed.

"Terms are very clear. Stop all the attacks and counter attacks on each others' businesses right now. Now we are not under your cartel so we wont be following your rules. The market is in open competition for everyone." Omi bhau said and every one of them agreed.

All 5 of the gangster came out of Bhawani's waadi at met at Omi's place for further discussion.

"Why you guys agreed so easily. He had cause huge losses to us. We should have at least taught him a lesson." Anna asked.

"Oh trust me, I have a plan to teach him a lesson for lifetime." Patnaik laughed.

"What do you mean? And we just have agreed on peace treaty. Why you are taking up fight with him again?" Lala questioned.

"Peace treaty was called just to force him to come back to India. It was just a decoy, mujhe pata tha wo Bhawani Devi ko kabhi mana nahi kar payega. He was far more powerful from us with his ally Marco in Mexico. Now we will not only break up his tie with Marco but destroy him and his business here." Ismail explained further.

"But what will we do exactly?" Lala asked again.

"Patnaik, Ismail and I have made a plan. We found someone who will help us out against Virat Chavan." Omi revealed his plan.

"Kaun hai woh?" Anna and Lala both asked at the same time.

"Omi laughed at their eagerness. "Ye samajh lo ek dost hai. Filhal Mexico mein hai and since Virat will be busy here in India for some time now. Our new friend in Mexico will destroy Virat's network and business there."

"Lekin wo yaha India mein kyu rukega? Anna questioned again.

"Apni girlfriend ke liye. Suna hai ki wo pregnant hai aur uske sath yaha India aayi hui hai." Patnaik informed.

"Kahi tum logo ne uspar attack ka plan toh nahi banaya? Lekin hamare yaha toh unwritten rule hai ki hum ek dusre ke parivar ko target nahi karte." Lala said apprehensively. He was not sure of this plan. All he could imagine is a very angry Virat after the death of his girlfriend.

"Bewakufo jaisi baatein mat karo, Lala. Humne baki har koshish karke dekh li, is Virat ka kuch nahi bigad paaye. Ab samay aa gaya hai, to play dirty." Ismail explained.

"Tum log fikar mat karo. Iski girlfriend par attack bahut soch samajh kar hi plan kiya hai. Ise todna hai toh iska dil toh todna hi padega. Suna hai bahut chahta hai us ladki ko, iski jaan basti hai usme....uske marne se waise hi aadha mar jayega....in fact as we are talking here, my men would reach to her anytime now." Omi bhau informed and all laughed evilly.

On the other hand, here at waadi, Bhawani was busy pampering Virat, making him eat all his favorite dishes, as she was meeting him after a year.

"How is Sai? Why you didn't bring her here?" Bhawani asked from Virat.

"Is it possible, I'll ever leave her alone and come here? She is fine. She has gone to doctor." Virat replied.

"Usko akela kyu bhej diya?" Bhawani asked.

"Main jane wala tha uske sath lekin phir ye meeting khatam hi nahi ho rahi thi aur uska doctor ka appointment tha toh usko late ho raha tha. Isliye wo chali gayi. Aur uska chawl ke logo se milna ka bhi bahut mann tha. Isliye doctor ke yaha se wo chawl hote hue phir sham taka a jayegi." Virat explained.

"Virat, wo pregnant hai. Aise haalat mein usko yun akela mat chhodo." Bhawani reminded him.

"Pata hai kaku, lekin aap chinta mat kariye uske sath security hai. Aur phir ye to apna Mumbai hai, yaha uske upar haath dalne ki himmat kaun karega? Moreover, is waqt wo kaha hai, ye exact location kisko pata ho sakti hai? Sai, ke sath jo log security mein hai those are handpicked and trained by Jagtap himself. I trust them just like I trust Jagtap." Virat explained.

"Ok, if you say so. Lekin phir bhi samay theek nahi chal raha, savdhan rehne ki jarurat hai." Bhawani advised.

"Ho, kaku." Virat agreed.

"Sai ki badi yaad aa rahi thi mujhe. Bahut dino se nahi dekha usko. Aaj bada mann tha usko dekhne ka, at least call her I'll talk to her on phone." Bhawani requested.

Virat dialed Sai's number. She didn't pick up. He dialed again, she still didn't pick up. Now he was also getting worried. He dialed some of men who were with Sai, none of them picked up phone. He was panicking now. He dialed Sai's number again, this time she picked up after two rings. What he heard from her left him horrified and worried for her life.

Sai informed him that some goons were following her from the doctor's clinic. When the men in her security questioned them, they open fire and there was a shooting. Men in her security were killed and she somehow ran away from there. Now she is hiding at one place but those goons are still out there, searching for her.

Virat asked her exact location. Since she was going to meet chawl people, so she was near his chawl. Virat directed her to try and reach to his chawl, there people were loyal to him, they will help her in hiding. Meanwhile Virat took some of his men and rushed to the chawl.

As he predicted, chawl people had tried to help out Sai but the goons were too many in numbers. Soon Virat reached there with his men. Once he was there, he had managed to kill all the goons after Sai's life but he was a little late, damage had already been done. He found out that Sai fell down while running for her life and hiding, she had a miscarriage.

Virat had rushed her to the hospital. Sai was shattered knowing that she lost her baby. She was in trauma and didn't even speak for several days. Virat couldn't see her in such condition. He was livid on those 5 gangsters, the Omi and the others, as they had betrayed him again. They called him for peace treaty and backstabbed him by attacking Sai. They had break the unwritten rule of underworld, they targeted his jaan, his family and now they will pay for it.

He vowed to kill them all and waged an open war against them. He attacked their business, killed their men turning Mumbai into a battle ground. After knowing everything, Jagtap returned from Mexico. He thought Virat was alone in Mumbai, he might need him.

Jagtap went to meet Sai. He could understand how his best friends must be feeling right now. They were so excited for their baby. They must be in deep grief but at least they were with each other. Jagtap entered in the house and what he heard left him stunned and even more worried for Virat now.

"Go away from me Virat Chavan. I hate you. I just hate you. I lost my baby because of you. They attacked me to take revenge from you. I always used to urge you to stop this unnecessary bloodshed and these games of yours but you didn't listen...see now what it has done to me and our baby. We are over. I don't want to live with you anymore." Sai had shouted and then after few seconds a very broken Virat has come out of the room.

Jagtap just hugged him for support. He had never imagined, things would turn out like this between Sai and Virat.
