Obviously I spend a lot of my free time writing and reading, but I also like to draw, bake, and play video games. ◎ Carina, Featured Author: It was actually not something I planned to do at all, when I was looking around the university I ended up going to there was a presentation on their publishing course and I only went out of curiosity. While I was there it just sort of clicked that this was what I wanted to do because I could combine all the stuff I already loved (writing, art, researching, books etc).

◎ Carina, Featured Author: Silver Secrets was my attempt to put a new spin on the werewolf genre by crossing it over with the fantasy genre. On the forums werewolf readers talk about cliche a lot so I wanted to try something a little different by writing a crossover.

◎ Carina, Featured Author: Thanks! I always outline before I write, but things changed a lot afterwards like some characters who had to be cut because they overcomplicated things. I usually stick to my plan in the first draft and give myself a bit more freedom to add or cut things in the second one, that way I know I have the basic 온라인카지노게임 down and I won't write myself into a corner!
                              
● Cassie, Magic: That's very smart! It's always good when you have it planned out so you know exactly what you're writing! According to the title, Silver Secrets, there has to be secrets in your book haha. Has anyone guessed them if there are?
                              
◎ Carina, Featured Author: Nobody has told me if they have! I can't really say much else without giving the plot away, but there's more than the secret Mel's keeping from her love interest Rowan.
                              
● Cassie, Magic: Ooh haha, secrecy is so much fun! For our last question, we would like to know...What kind of advice would you give to new writers?
                              
◎ Carina, Featured Author: Make sure your villains have some humanity! Imo the best villains are the ones who have at least something sympathetic about them (Loki, Kylo Ren, Prince Zuko, ect.). 
                              
However I think one of the hardest things to learn is how not to be discouraged by your first draft. It probably won't turn out exactly how you wanted, and that's ok. You can come back and fix it with fresh eyes, and your readers will take it for what it is, not what you'd hoped it would be.
