I'm Staris, a Filipino speculative fiction and slice-of-life writer who uses two pen names depending on which category they fall under. I love partaking in contests when I can, especially the Open Novella Contest, and I have achieved shortlist this recent ONC for "Lightless Twin Souls," which then expanded into its own series. I'm often down in writing ruts, but I get inspiration from many things, such as my life experiences, music, and random what-ifs. 1. What made you start writing on 카지노후기?
I discovered my love for fiction and reading through a Filipino-published novel entitled "Diary ng Panget," which I found out was posted on 카지노후기 first. Through it, I knew of this place and eventually wondered if I could write something, too. As I did, my primary target audience had always been myself, as I strive to write stories that I would love to read.
2. What challenges did you face while writing Lightless Twin Souls?
My chosen perspective, the deadline (as it is initially for a writing contest), and insecurities about specific events, interactions, and character dynamics. The main challenge would have been the perspective. I've always written only in Third Limited, and sometimes practice First Person. For LTS, I've found that the most effective way to tell the 온라인카지노게임 is through garnering multiple perspectives simultaneously on many occasions, and the challenge for writing in Third Omniscient was the infamous head-hopping. But I daresay I did decently.
3. What influenced you to write it?
The bonds between twins who used to be together, and as they are reincarnated, they don't only get separated, but they also forget about their other half. I wanted to write a twin flame or soulmate-themed 온라인카지노게임 that doesn't focus on romance, highlighting that soulmates can be friends or family. There's also the concept of feeling something is missing, and we can't pinpoint what it is. But that doesn't mean we can't move forward and explore what life has to offer, eventually coming to find the 'missing piece' we never knew even actually existed in the form of how it came into our lives. For LTS, it came in the form of a soulmate or a twin sibling from a past life.

Revenge stories in general, as I love writing and reading them. It incorporates the journey of a man lost in hatred and revenge to suffering in PITS (perpetrator's trauma), and eventually finding his way of rebirth, then facing the vengeance of his victims.
5. What advice would you like to give to other writers writing in the same genre?
Know that there are no limits—unless it goes against the rules of the world you made. Ultimately, take your time, whether it's crafting the world, outlining arcs, creating characters and relationships, or anything else. Don't rush—unless there's a deadline, heh.
6. Your favourite Fantasy author?
I have yet to choose a favorite. Still, when I first started reading in high school, my first Fantasy series was the one by AegyoDayDreamer on 카지노후기, namely, the Wizard's Tale trilogy, and while its 온라인카지노게임line was predictable, it will always hold a special place in my heart as my first Fantasy novel, and the one that opened the door for me in this genre.
7. What's your favorite season and why?
Autumn or fall season. Even though I've never been under that season, it has always been something utterly appealing to me—the middle and transition of summer to winter. Someday, I'll get to experience that season!
8. Do you read a lot?
I used to. Now, I can only read sometimes, but I try to make time for it every month.
9. Mountains or the Beach Beach!
I've never climbed mountains before, and I always enjoy playing in the water with my family since childhood.
10. Summer or Winter
I'm not too fond of summer, but I have no experience with winter, and I only know it's cold. Due to my bearing, I've gotten used to heat more than the cold, so I'll have to go with summer.
