Gwen, being a big fan of makeup, didn't keep it as subtle as me. She had a dark blue smokey eye, same color as the top of her hair, and pink lip gloss. It wasn't over the top, she, unlike me, knew how to do her makeup properly. I just felt like a clown whenever I tried to do mine.
I opted for a fake leather skirt that stopped mid thigh and a white lacey top. I wore black wedge heels. They're like heels for noobs. I love heels but I love my feet more.
Gwen was wearing a dusty rose tight dress that hugged her curves perfectly. She was definitely a woman on a mission. She looked hot.
When we were both satisfied by how we were looking, we took one last shot and headed out.
Great thing about living near Cambridge? A lot of buses available for students. We were there in a heartbeat and I was getting excited. I loved meeting new people for some reason.
It was almost eleven when we arrived at the party. A lot of people were already buzzed. It was a funny sight to see.
After a few drinks Gwen and I went our seperate ways. We never stayed too long together because she was on a mission and I didn't mind talking to strange people. We always left together though, unless she texted me that she'd found someone.
That rarely happened. She liked to have some fun, but not too much fun if you know what I mean.
Literally a second after she left someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and looked at the guy that wanted my attention. Not too bad. He had blonde hair and blue eyes, he kinda looked like a surfer dude or something. He was wearing a plain blue shirt and dark blue jeans with black vans.
"Having fun?" I was relieved. Sometimes guys would approach me with a cheesy pickup line that made me want to vomit. Seriously, if you want to impress a girl a simple hello will do.
"Sure! Are you?" I smiled. He had a very contagious smile, it lit up his entire face. It was cute really.
"Definitely! What are you doing here alone?" I got that question a lot. It's much easier approaching a person that's alone than someone in a group. I guess that's why Gwen and I often go our separate ways.
"I'm not, my friend is around here somewhere. Are you worried I'm lonely?" I winked at him. Okay, so maybe I liked flirting a little bit. It's just some innocent fun.
He smiled "Very. I'd love to keep you company though." He said, nudging me.
"Someone has a hero complex." I sipped my red plastic cup. It was filled with beer. Cheap beer, might I add.
"I get the feeling you don't need saving. What's your name?" That's right, I didn't need saving. He definitely got some brownie points for saying that.
"Jill, you?"
"Michael." He grabbed my hand. I thought he was going for a handshake but instead he lifted our hands above my head and twirled me.
"Come on, let's dance." He started to move to the middle of the room, still holding my hand. That was such a smooth move. I was impressed.
We danced and talked for a little while. Apparently he's from California. I so called it! Surfer dude all the way! He laughed when I'd told him. He was in his first year at MIT. He said it was really hard so his mates convinced him to go out a little more so that's why he was there.
He didn't seem spooked when I'd told him I was still in high school. I wasn't gonna lie and tell people I'm older than I truly am. Sometimes they back away after that piece of information. Michael didn't, he was only a year older than me after all.
All of a sudden a hand grabbed mine, I noticed something blue passing by "We gotta go. Now!" Gwen yanked my hand a little harder, forcing me to go.
"It was nice meeting you Michael, bye!" I waved with my other hand. Before I left I heard him yelling a goodbye back.
When we were outside I got curious. Why did Gwen want to leave all of a sudden? Something must've happened. I was expecting a juicy 온라인카지노게임.
"Let's walk back, I don't wanna wait for a bus." She stated. I just shrugged. I didn't really mind, it was only a thirty minute walk.
"So... care to explain what happened back there?" I looked at Gwen expectantly.
She sighed. "Crap, hang on." She took her shoes off and started walking barefoot. Totally understandable, since she was wearing high heels. I was really loving my wedges now, they didn't hurt one bit.
"Right. So after I left I found this hottie and I knew I'd just found my target. I approached him and he was extremely drunk. He told me I looked like a mermaid."
"He was extremely drunk? He didn't..." I got concerned.
"No! no nothing like that!" Thank God. Well I didn't expect it do be that bad because Gwen seemed fine, but still.
"So we started dancing and drinking. You know, just having some innocent fun. Needless to say, I got bored." Gwen rolled her eyes.
That made me laugh. Only Gwen would get bored dancing and drinking with a guy. A hot guy apparently.
"So we started making out. Finally! You know it took a long time. I figured it was gonna be easier since he was already drunk. Oh well doesn't matter." She shrugged.
I decided not to comment. She knows how I feel about hooking up, but I'd never judge her.
"In the middle of our little makeout session some dude approached us and said 'Hey, aren't you Jacobs friend?' Urgh. It was probably one of his stoner buddies. I didn't recognize him. I was planning on ignoring him but then he asked 'What are you doing at a college party?' Weird question right. We go there all the time. Whatever."
I could guess what direction this 온라인카지노게임 was heading. The guy obviously didn't ask that without an underlying reason.
"Then the hottie I was making out with took a step back. He literally took a step back! He asked if that was true and he looked genuinly frightened. I told him yes and he just got out of there. Apparently he was a senior and he felt like a pedophile or something."
I burst out in laughter. He got scared of a high school girl! What a chicken. Oh man, this is gold!
"Yes, laugh at my misery! He was hot." She pouted, but her eyes were amused.
"Wait, so why did you leave in such a rush?" She could've just found a new target. I looked at Gwen and she bit her lip.
"Well, the dude said that Jacob was heading over and I really didn't want to see that knobhead."
We both started laughing. I didn't want to see him either, but I wouldn't have ran away. Only Gwen. She never told in detail why she avoided Jacob like he had a contagious disease. I never pushed her, if she wanted to tell me she would've.
I didn't mind though. Jacob is a tool. Or a knobhead.
"Weren't the guys hanging out with Jacob? Gwen they were probably going with him!" Okay, that sounded a bit more dramatic than it should. It was a girls night after all.
"Better luck next time." She didn't mind either. I mean, we did see the guys every day at school and often during the weekends. Us girls gotta stick together.
The walk home seemed short. Gwen was staying over so she was lying next to me in bed. Her breathing was steady so she was already asleep. Understandable, she had a tough night.
I was drifting off when my phone buzzed. Why does this keep happening to me? I grabbed my phone and noticed it was Jake.
We're at the party, where are you guys?
Oops. I decided to text him back so they wouldn't look for us.
Gwen and I are in bed together ;)
I knew Jake would appreciate that text. He had never texted me back this quick before.
I wanna join :(
Tough luck Jakey. With a smile I drifted off to dreamland.
