A/N: Pic to the side is Trinity, the witch. Played by Nina Dobrev. I'm putting up cast pictures because a fan messaged me about not being able to visualize the characters. I hope seeing how they look helps you understand their stories more.

Somewhere distant Gideon almost swore she heard the pink panther theme song sound out as Head Councillor Hasselberry snooped through Snowflakes' House looking for a clue. Seriously, he had a magnifying glass and everything. Gideon knew exactly what he was gonig to find on the guys' side with that thing and she was so grateful that he was the one going to need brain bleach and not her. Though the necessity for his actions completely killed all the humor the situation could have had.

There had been yet more theft in the Camp and since Gideon's Snowflakes had been the only ones not robbed thus far, they were the likely targets. Mix in the suspicion over Ebony's attempts to turn herself into a candle wick and the whole Jasper hating on her thing and it has turned into quite the ulcer inducing summer. Still, Gideon didn't take it personally, given the givens and she would have suspected her kids too. She just knew that they were innocent because no one can sneak past a Fury. It was a survival mechanism, whenever someone came too close Gideon woke up. It worked even when she was badly injured, and that had scared the snot out of one unsuspecting nurse a time or two.

Shaking off the memory, Gidster looked over the Snowflakes as they sat in the Mess and Meet, waiting for their possessions to be done with the ransacking. None of them were taking the 'violation' of their privacy well, but thankfully Gideon had quieted the worst of their mutterings by stating simply that she knew they were innocent and it was easier to just get this over with than bitch about it. Gone was the us versus them mentality the kids had adopted during the first week of the Camp and now they were for some reason modelling their behaviour off of Gideon herself. She tried to discourage THAT as often as possible, but the darlings were persistent. For some of them, acting like Gideon was exactly the kind of thing they needed to do, Luc, Peter, Luna and Ankou were all starting to adapt and come out of their shells a lot more. It helped that the Snowflakes had come together like a tight knit family and watched each other's backs like batman and robin, but even Gideon wasn't so humble as to not see the effects she had on them all. Of course there were a few that really, really, REALLY should model themselves after someone a little less... rambunctious, like Xavier or Lisa. Or even Jasper. Trinity was becoming a BIG problem and Gideon wondered if it was being around a Fury that made it so bad.

Being what she was, Gideon was closer to chaos than order and it had an effect on the Magics around her. Creatures that had an affinity for chaos and change would flourish, those who were centered around order would flounder. It wouldn't hurt them per se, but it did disrupt their own internal balances. With her Magic locked away for the first two weeks, Trinity had only gotten a 'probation' back on her Magic. Any trace or hint of Black Magic would lock her abilities away again. This helped her addiction but seemed to do nothing to ease the girl's natural dissonance. She liked drama, tension and playing people off of each other. Channeled right and Gideon could see the girl doing very well in politics, but right now she was a pain in Gideon's still bruised ass.

Virgil was his own problem and Gideon now suspected that it had everything to do with what he was. She needed to figure out what he was so she could focus her Fury 'growth spurt' and be prepared for whatever it was Virgil had planned. She suspected that he had come here with a purpose, and even though she didn't know what it was, she could try and prepare for it. Ebony wasn't so much a problem as she was a victim. Nearly dying had finally flipped the vampire's switch and she was going in the opposite direction. She was now phobic about flames. It would be an amusing reversal of issues, except that now they had to address that problem without helping her relapse into pyromania. Fantastic.
