Ishaan entered his cabin after hanging up the call and found Shivangi engrossed in her phone, but her attention shifted to the door at the sound of it opening.
"Hii , sorry to make you wait," Ishaan said apologetically as he entered and settled on the couch in front of her.
"Hello , here," Shivangi said gently, passing him a glass of water, making him smile.
"You don't have to do all this," Ishaan said softly, taking the glass from her.
"It's literally nothing , and I thought I can do this much in your office," Shivangi replied casually, making him smile again as he drank the water and placed the glass back on the table.
"You are looking beautiful," Ishaan said warmly, admiring her.
"Thank you," Shivangi murmured shyly with a slight blush.
"So, how was your meeting?" Shivangi asked curiously.
"Boring," Ishaan said dramatically, rolling his eyes.
"Chalo aapki boring life ko thoda interesting banayein , lunch karne chalein kahin?" Shivangi said cheerfully with a smile.
(Let's make your boring life a little interesting , shall we go for lunch somewhere?)
"Of course , bata kaha chalna hai?" Ishaan asked with interest, pulling out his phone.
(Of course , tell me where we’re going?)
"I actually already booked a table for us , I’m sorry, I didn’t even ask you," Shivangi said with a sheepish smile.
"It's okay, Shivangi , and next time, don’t say sorry to me for these small things," Ishaan said gently, just as the door knocked. He sat up straight and called out, "Come in," firmly as his PA entered.
"Sir, sorry to disturb you , but I just need your one signature. It’s quite urgent," his PA said politely.
Ishaan nodded and signed the papers silently as she left the office.
"Who is she?" Shivangi asked sharply, her tone a little different, making Ishaan confused.
"My PA," Ishaan said, still confused.
"Why do you have a female PA? Ladko ka akal aa gaya hai kya duniya mein?" Shivangi asked mock-jealously.
(Is there shortage of men's in world?)
"Are you jealous, Shivangi?" Ishaan asked in a playful tone, clearly amused.
"Why would I be jealous , rakho jise aapko rakhna ho PA , chalein lunch karne, late ho raha hai," Shivangi said with fake indifference, standing up and picking up her purse.
(keep whoever you want as PA , let’s go for lunch, it's getting late.)
Ishaan followed her closely behind, amusement clear on his face, as they entered his private lift.
"She doesn’t look like one, but she’s married and has two kids," Ishaan said casually, making Shivangi bite her lip and avoid his gaze.
"Han toh mujhe kya , acchi baat hai , maine kuch pucha thodi aapse," Shivangi said awkwardly, refusing to admit she was jealous.
