Okay so one thing...
Many people commented asking what 'Khatam' means.
I'll tell you all because you'll read this word thousands of times in this book.
In my language khatam basically means ... Kuch bhi nahi , like useless, bekar , ya jiska koi jyada kaam na ho. But it's not in a disrespectful manner. It's basically at a much of fun level.
I think bekar is the most suitable word , if you want one meaning.
So basically 'Khatam' word can have many Meanings ,but it's all in a fun way. 
Also mujhe nahi pata esa word actually kuch hota hai ya nahi, yeh word meri dictionary ka hai bas. Toh isliye iska meaning change hota rehta hia for me according to sentence and situation. But now you know that it's just a fun word and what possible meanings it can have.

Ishaan was heading toward the theatre room in Rathore Mansion, where Akash was already waiting for him, when he noticed Abhimanyu in the garden, speaking to someone on the phone. Something struck Ishaan’s mind, and he turned his steps toward Abhimanyu.
Sensing Ishaan’s presence, Abhimanyu ended the call and gave him his full attention, immediately picking up on his nervous energy.
“Kya hua , kuch kaam tha?” Abhimanyu asked.

“Can I take Shivangi out in the morning to see the sunrise?” Ishaan asked directly, choosing not to beat around the bush. Abhimanyu was visibly taken aback by the question.
“Why?” he asked, expression unreadable.
“Not going to lie to you. I am genuinely interested in Shivangi. I want to see how things work between us—if she says yes,” Ishaan replied, his confidence silently impressing Abhimanyu, though he didn’t show it.
“Did you ask her out till now?” Abhimanyu questioned further.
“No. I wanted to take permission from you first. If you approve, only then will I ask her,” Ishaan said sincerely, making a smile tug at Abhimanyu’s lips , but he masked it quickly.
“What if I said no? And why do you want my permission?” Abhimanyu asked in a tone that could intimidate anyone.
“If you say no, then I promise I’ll never look at her the way I’ve done till now. And I want your permission because mein uss family ka bharosa nahi todna chahta hoon jisne mujhe ek second mein, bina second thought ke apna liya aur iss family mein jagah di.” Tears welled up in Ishaan’s eyes , the word family always had that effect on him.
(I don’t want to break the trust of the family that accepted me without a second thought and gave me a place in their hearts.)
Seeing his emotion, Abhimanyu pulled him into a comforting, protective hug, gently caressing his back to calm him.
“You can take her out anytime you want. You have full permission from my side. And if you ever want ideas for dates, come to me. I’m quite experienced in this,” Abhimanyu teased, making Ishaan chuckle at the last line.
