"I am noticing since few days that you are missing the old times so much. I know you, your ego wont allow you to say it out loud but you want everything to be normal between us again. So, I have asked servants to shift all your things to my room. Now you don't have to go there." Virat informed her.

"What?" Sai was shocked.

"Why are you sounding so shocked, jaan?" Virat questioned.

"Nahi...nahi toh...who toh main...bas yun hi..." Sai stammered as she started thinking some excuse. 

"Jaan, I know you are trying your best to not forgive me, holding on to your anger but by doing this you are hurting yourself." Virat said guessing the reason behind her odd behavior.

He was not stupid, he had also noticed sudden change in Sai's behavior like Jagtap had mentioned. But then he had thought that its because of her dilemma to forgive him or not. Never in his wildest imagination ever could he think that Sai might be working with police. He looked at Sai, she looked lost in her thoughts. He couldn't see her like that. He wanted to take away her pain, fear, insecurities. He wanted to close the distance between them. He knew Sai is stubborn, she might take forever to forget bitter past if left on her and he was tired of waiting. 

The years he had to live apart from her were torturous and painful, he couldn't take it anymore. So, all those things like bringing her here without her consent, coming close to her, almost forcing his decision on her, were all his way to remind her of their closeness, love. And with Sai now remembering about old times, he thought he was doing the right thing. Just few more push into the right direction and she might give up her stubbornness soon.

Virat came near her, very close, and put his hand on her waist. He pulled her even more into his embrace. "Tumhare dil aur dimag mein ladai chal rahi hai na? Dil kehta hai kash sab pehle jaisa ho jaye aur dimag kehta hai ki mujhe kabhi maaf na karo. Lekin itna jaan lo, aakhir mein jeet tumhare dil ki hi hogi. Kyunki ye tumhare liye nahi mere liye dhadakta hai." Virat whispered to her.

Sai got goosebumps all over her body. She looked up at him and it proved to be a mistake because his eyes held hers as captive. Her heart flutter and her body on her own leaned more into him, drawing the warmth from his embrace. She painfully realized that whatever he said was true somewhere. Her heart might win against her mind at the end. And she knew it was not a good sign. She needed to finish her mission before that. But what to do when he acts like this, come this close to her? How she could ever control herself?

"No...ye nahi ho sakta...I mean, mujhe thoda aur waqt do. Main sab kuch bhul kar ek nayi shuruaat karna chahti hoon hamare beech lekin..." Sai said and tried to come out of his hold.

"No ifs and buts. Its enough now. I am tired of your little games. Leave the past behind, jaan. Jitna waqt logi utna hi tumhe takleef hogi. I know you love me, just stop fighting your feelings." Virat said and caressed her face with his fingers.
