He was a little shocked by her reply. He thought she must be feeling suffocated because of the way Virat tried to force his decision on her and how much she protested against it. But here she is all ok with it, how and why things changed so easily and quickly? Is there something, he is not understanding?

"What nonsense?" Sai replied back. 

"Arre, naraaz mat ho. Just joking. I know why are you trying to defend him? You still love him." Jagtap commented.

"Main woh...aisa hai ki..." Sai didnt know what to answer him.

Jagtap understood her situation. She might be finding all this awkward. "Sai, Virat is the common person that brings us together. But apart from him also there is a relationship between us...a beautiful friendship. That dumb head keeps hurting us and we keep wiping each others tears. We have been there for each other as friends and I want to remind you that our equation will always be like that." Jagtap smiled at Sai reassuring her that he is there to help her as a friend always. If there is anything troubling her, then she can share it with him. Ever since she had returned, he was finding her behavior as odd and he didn't know whether it was just his delusion or is there really something going on in Sai's mind.

 She returned the gesture by smiling back at him. She mentally noted that she needs to be careful around Jagtap. Virat may be her obsessive lover and he might fail to see through her façade but Jagtap was very clever, he might become suspicious.

Both were lost in their thoughts when Virat came out of the room and noticed them. "Hmm, looks like two most important persons in my life are conspiring against me." Virat joked as he came out of the room. 

"Yes, we are planning your murder." Jagtap also joked. 

"Oh, I should be really afraid then. Two people, one is my jaan and other is whom I trust with my jaan....deadly combination...but if they kill me then will they ever be able to live without me?" Virat asked dramatically. 

"No." Sai and Jagtap both said at the same time and laughed. 

Jagtap's answer was obvious but Sai was stunned for a second at her reply. Virat smiled at her, she averted her eyes as she clearly looked uncomfortable. She excused herself and went from there.

"Told you, keep your advice to yourself in her matter. Did you hear that? She just admitted that she cant live without me. She is softening towards me. I am sure she will forgive me and forget everything soon. We will start our life together again." Virat commented as he hit Jagtap with back of his hand playfully. 

Jagtap saw Sai's retreating form. He was not convinced what Virat said but he didn't want to burst his bubble so he let it go.

"I have got an important lead. Its about Anna and Ismail." Jagtap told him.
