"Don't even think about trying us," Ron said, glaring down an Auror, who backed off.
Harry turned back to Draco, confused. "Draco?"
Draco lowered his head. "I can't...."
"He's under Veritaserum, right now," Professor McGonagall explained, and it all made sense. Harry's angry was about to explode.
The Minister took the chance to yell, "Death Eater! Tell the Court exactly how many Unforgivable Curses you used!"
Draco started. "I...."
"Draco, do not say another word without my permission," he ordered and Draco hissed slightly. He kept his arm hidden, though.
Harry growled under his breath and looked back up at the Chief Warlock. "I'd take Veritaserum, too, if you'd believe me! But this will have to do..." he declared and raised his wand above his head. It glowed with power. "I, Harry James Potter, do swear on my life and magic, that Draco Malfoy never raped me, never abused me, never beat me, and never used an Unforgivable on me in the last nine months of my life. This I solemnly swear!"
Rings expanded from his wand and slowly disappeared into the ether. Draco looked at him in amazement. Ron said, solemnly and a little amazed, "Magic has judged him and he remains standing."
"His magic?" an older wizard asked.
"Expecto Patronum!" he yelled, and his stag raced around the room.
"The oath is valid... even if he was Confounded," another murmured. The Court settled down significantly.
"You put a date qualifier on that oath!"
Harry snorted. "Draco and I weren't very chummy before war. I nearly killed him when we were 16. I won't let you hold us accountable for things that are long past. Chief Warlock... I wish to give my statement, my testimony."
"I..." the man, who had been merely watching the display so far, grimaced. "Proceed."
"But Chief Warlock!" Robards interjected.
"It is only right!" Professor McGonagall declared, and the judge waved him off.
"Thank you. My name is Harry Potter. Apparently, I turned 18 recently. At the Battle of Hogwarts... I surrendered myself to the Death Eaters... to save everyone from Voldemort. He decided not to kill me and faked my death. He implanted a memory into my friend Hagrid's mind and transfigured a body to look like me. He had Bellatrix Lestrange take me to Lucius Malfoy's house. He lost the Battle, but some of his supporters were able to escape. Voldemort was bitter and anxious to rebuild his forces. He left me to the Death Eaters to play with.
"Greyback, Yaxley, Bellatrix, and Avery came nearly every day to torture me and do worse. I had no hope of rescue... and I nearly lost myself. But someone came to help me. Someone healed me and kept me going. That person was Draco Malfoy. He was just as trapped as I was. Unable to leave. Unable to get a message out. He saved me. Then he helped me plan to defeat the Dark Lord once and for all. We got rid of the wards, and he went out to find help and made contact with my friends, Ron and Hermione. We planned an attack, calling in for help, and Draco was standing there at my side when Voldemort fell.
"Actually, he was standing in front of me, blocking Voldemort's Death Curse from reaching me! Draco Malfoy protected me. He comforted me and he's the only reason that Voldemort is gone now! He's not a Death Eater. He never was! He was trapped by his father and Voldemort," he said and noticed that most of the Court were still wincing at his name.
"He took the Mark willingly!" Minister Robards growled.
"No, he didn't! Voldemort would have killed him and his parents. It was coerced. He was a kid!"
