Chapter 13

Two young vampires, living in the capital city Velkor, where the royal palace resides in the kingdom Ultrecht. When they've already witnessed everything someone at a tender age shouldn't ever experience. Initially, when the queen ruled all over the continent, he gave her generals at the time kingdoms. The generals spread 3 of their soldiers from their ranks to each city in their respective kingdoms.
Those knights kept taking women and raping them and other unspeakable acts. Generally, those knights settled in and had families. Those traditions traveled from one generation to another.  When a new general is selected to proceed, the older one new knights are sent to each city of their respective kingdoms.  The treatment gets worse 10 times over. This is the world these two twins grew up in.

The two twins were the illegitimate children of a rich noble. The noble didn't want to stain his reputation, so he left them there in the streets  so they could fend for themselves. The duo was involved in gang activities at a young age. Seeing people raped in front of their eyes watching a daily occurrence.  They didn't feel anything if they saw anyone suffering injustice in front of them. They would've continued to act a criminal lifestyle if it wasn't for a group of rebels named Tenebris. The group found their thief den and smashed everything, wrecking everything. Every gang member was killed, leaving both of them alive. The rebel leader was a woman named Archane Valois. The woman saw that the two were only children and decided to protect them.  At the start  the twins didn't trust Archane, but due to her tough character and kindness, she didn't give up on them. She didn't leave their side for years and years.

The twins finally had a mother in their lives, and they realized what family meant while they were at the rebel stronghold.  When the twins turned 25 years old, Archane gave them a mission their first mission to travel to the city of lerkom. The twins departed and settled in the city. Michael agreed to do a reconnaissance and scout the area so they can remember every nook and crany of the place. While Ilgrin would collect information from the people, trying to figure out the treatment of the people. When Ilgrin was out and about, he found out that the local tyrant was the son of a knight, a half elf, and vampire his name is  Eccles . The other thing he found out is that the strongest opposition is an elven knight named Cresen .

The two twins during the three 3months in this whole scheme, they were in trouble with the knights they made their mark in such a short time. The twins finally got I'm the way of Eccles, Eccles was busy raping a young  vampire woman. Ilgrin wanted to act right away but was stopped by Michael. He pointed out the dangers of rushing first and urged his brother to calm down.  After Eccles was done, he then asked the woman  while holding her hair up. " Hey!!!, you damn woman tell me where the rebels are." The woman remained unresponsive, but seeing the silence, Eccles proceeded to beat the sense into her . Then, an innocent 6 year old elf was passing by. Eccles was grinning all of a sudden he  took the girl and threatened to rape the innocent girl if she didn't reveal the destination of the rebels. The young vampire was crying, and the woman remained unresponsive, thinking he's bluffing but carrying a face of worry. The prince ripped off her pants and was going to carry on with his wicked actions. Ilgrin blitzed down and sliced his third leg off.

Eccles was visibly surprised and still not processing the sudden actions. When the realization settled in, he screamed and mourned for his lost limb. He was so furious that tears came out of his eyes. He wanted to kill the person standing in front of him but couldn't because he was still processing his loss. Ilgrin hurried out and blitzed. They took the woman to their safe house for the civilians. Michael went to Ilgrin and shouted at him because he not only put them at harms risk , but the security would be doubled, making their mission harder. Ilgrin didn't listen to his brother and said " people like that shouldn't live , I've done everyone a favor also I'm repenting for my sins, when we were young we saw these things and didn't do anything we were accomplices." Michael angry shouted." we were kids, move on from the past, and time doesn't stop for you. The only thing that happens is that the pain gets deeper. " Ilgrin also shouting responded by" it does!!!, hey Mike, you know what life can move for all others but stop for one, one's life is one's world so one person defines his own time." The two stopped arguing and didn't talk to each other for the entire night that day.

Eccles suddenly appeared close to their safe house, but luckily, Michael spotted him. Michael warned Ilgrin of the incoming danger. They wondered how they were able to track them, Michael hypothesized that Eccles must've tracked them using a tracker spell. Ilgrin agreed that so he realized that means he's the one tracked, in an effort to lose eyes and the attention of everyone drove the knight party after him in another direction.  Ilgrin ran as fast as he could and found a secluded space and stopped.  Figures were creeping closer and closer to footsteps, making noise.  When the figures became visible, the first person to come out was Eccles.  Eccles with a furious face spoke. " Hey!!, you're going to pay for everything you did to me, your gonna paaayyy!!"

Eccles used lightning magic and tried to strike Ilgrin. Meanwhile, other guards attacked him from the  sides. Ilgrin was holding his own for a while until the pressure got to him. Ilgrin burnt out was defenseless and out of energy, Eccles was going to land a finishing last blow. Michael arrived on time, and they fused the fused warrior, took out everyone, and escaped. Then, a year and 9 months past , the duo still saved people but not at a higher risk with more knights gunning for them. Then they net Jaron while escaping from the pursuing knights.
