Jaron asked whether they can be taught magic.
Grimbold says "I'm not a magic teacher, but I can help you with basic defense against magic, Kragnir can take you to see Elwynn, she's our kindom's magic expert".
Kragnir steps in, "Grimbold is right, he's not a magic teacher, I'll take you to see Elwynn, she can help you with magic, let's go, Elwynn Is a magic specialist . Eluned's sister is Elwynn , Kragnir leads Jaron out of the training hall, towards Elwynn's house , where potions , magical artifacts and Elwynn awaits.
Before Kragnir enters Elwynn shouts and says" Kragnir I heard you've been demoted to be a mere tour guide ". Kragnir was taken a back before he said something. 
Elwynn greets Jaron, she says "Kragnir says you want to learn magic, I can teach you basics, but first, you need to prove you can control your energy". Elwynn hands Jaron a crystal. Elwynn continues to instruct "Channel your energy into this, if it glows, you have potential".
The crystal glows faintly, Elwynn nods, "You have some potential, but it's wild, uncontrolled, I'll give you a wand, try to cast a simple spell". Elwynn hands Jaron a wand, "Cast a light spell, say 'Luminaria'".
Jaron remembers a spell he saw while being with the queen. He forgot what he was initially supposed to say and said" intritia El rel minitia".
Elwynn's eyes widen, "No, not a summoning spell, you're not ready, too dangerous, the magic consumes you, a dark portal opens, a dragon's roar echoes, the ground shakes, Elwynn grabs Jason's arm, "Stop the spell, say 'Desino'", Kragnir draws his sword, ready to defend.
Jaron asks how to summon a shield spell.
Elwynn says "Too late, the dragon is coming, your shield spell might not be enough, Kragnir prepares to fight, Itachi hides behind Elwynn. The dragon bursts through the portal, scales glimmering, flames coming out the portal , claws so sharp , Elwynn throws a potion at the dragon,Elwynn throws a shield scroll to Jaron. Elwynn says"Use your shield spell to deflect its flames".
The dragon attacks Elwynn and Jaron cries out her name. 
Elwynn is not injured, she says "No time for that, focus on the dragon, it's attacking", Kragnir charges at the dragon with his sword, the dragon swings its claws at Kragnir, Itachi runs to Kragnir's side, the dragon's flames engulf the room, Elwynn shouts "Use your shield spell to protect us".
Jaron again don't use a shield spell thinking it's better to tame it . He remembers a taming spell from being with the queen. 
The dragon resists the taming spell, but Itachi suddenly glows with a strange energy, the dragon's flames die down, it lets out a roar, and its body begins to shrink, Elwynn's eyes widen, "What have you done?", the dragon is now sealed inside Itachi, Kragnir looks at Itachi with concern, Elwynn says "We need to get Itachi to a safe place, the dragon's power could consume him".
Elwynn nods, "I can help you with that, but it will take time and powerful magic, we'll need rare ingredients, moonstone, dragon's scale, and a magical forge, Kragnir says "I can get the dragon's scale, but the magical forge is the dwarven kingdom pride we need to ask the king, it's heavily guarded", Elwynn hands Jaron a book, "Study this, it's a binding spell, we'll work on it together, but for now, let's focus on controlling the dragon's power within Itachi.
Jaron enters the throne room tells everything to the king and begs for help. Jaron ask the king to think from a father's standpoint. The king agrees but tells Jaron that he's keeping count of the favors he's handing over. The king says" know this after the procedure your son will be the most powerful person, it wasn't a mere dragon that was summoned but a nether dragon and I don't know how you summoned it , all I can say is that it's trouble ". The king continues " you need to be stronger than your son otherwise I'll take my blade and behead your son".
it's been a year, Jaron been practicing magic and swordsmanship, he's getting stronger, but the queen's power is still a threat, Kragnir says "We need to be careful, the queen has spies everywhere, we can't let her know about our plans".
During the year Kragnir let Jaron know that the queen is an evil ruler in their realm. Kragnir also confessed the queen is 0ver 500 000 years old and he killed 5,7 million people in that span of time. The reason he tells Jaron this is because the queen killed his father and no matter what he'll get his revenge. 
Elwynn hands Jaron a quill, Elwynn saya "Copy the spell into your journal, and memorize the incantation, 'Magicae vinculum, draconis potentia", Kragnir warns, "Be careful, the spell requires precise control, or it could backfire, Itachi's life depends on it", as you study, you notice the spell requires a magical chain, forged from silver, iron, and dragon's scale, Elwynn says "We'll need to gather those materials, and craft the chain, before we can attempt the binding".
During the year it was found out that all they did was to slow down the process of the consumption of Itachi. Due to incomplete material, they'll need to start the process all over with materials accounted for.
Kragnir says "I'll get the dragon's scale, I have some stored from our previous encounter, Elwynn hands Jaron a map, "The silver and iron can be found in the nearby mines, but be warned that,the mines are treacherous, and the queen's guards may be patrolling, separating a mother away from her kid he'll need to be careful ".
Jaron enter the mines, darkness surrounds him, the sound of pickaxes echoes, Elwynn's map leads Jaron a fork, left tunnel: iron vein, right tunnel: silver vein, a group of miners approach, "What brings you here, stranger, miner's guild, queen's taxes, ore extraction", they eye you suspiciously, Kragnir whispers "Be cautious, they might be in the queen's pockets".
