Chapter 63

They had a meeting, where Steve and Lourd had explained everything that had happened.

Steve wanted to tell everyone about the attack plan, but Lourd wouldn't let him. He said 'they weren't ready'.

"We will hold a funeral for our fallen soldiers in a few days," Lourd said to everyone. "You are all dismissed now."

Now, Steve, Jay, Ruby, Alex, Kirai, Scullscan, Nomis, and Tommy were down in the mines, mining for iron. Luckily, Herobrine hadn't hit this area yet, so there was still plenty of iron down there.

Eventually the eight of them had split up in the mines. They were in a big cave with water and lava everywhere. There were several passages leading other places, and some of them went there.

Steve was up on a ledge in the cave. He was pretty sure it was night time outside, but that didn't matter. Ruby came around the corner.

"Steve, I have to tell you something," she said.

"What is it, Ruby?" Steve asked, mining a vein of iron he had found.

Ruby bit her lip. She hesitated, then she finally said, "Alex is a spy for Mojang."

Steve stopped. He turned to face Ruby.

"Don't be silly. She's my childhood best friend," Steve replied.

"Steve, I heard her talking on her phone. She specifically said, 'Tell Notch I say hi'." Ruby persisted.

"Sounds like a joke to me," Steve waved her off.

"Steve. You have to believe me," Ruby pleaded.

Steve looked her in the eye. "You have a bad case of jealousy, don't you?"

Ruby's jaw dropped. "I do not! But anyway, you know there's a spy in the Resistance. Who else would it be?"

"We proved that Todd is--" Steve stopped.

~~FLASHBACK~~

"I thought the spy was gonna deal with that," Zeta whined.

"I don't trust the spy," Epsilon replied.

~~ANOTHER FLASHBACK~~

"WOULD A SPY BE SAVING YOU?"

~~YET ANOTHER FLASHBACK~~

"I'll be right back," Alex said, and she left the room in a hurry. Ruby glared at her as she left.

~~END OF FLASHBACKS~~

Ruby was staring at him.

"You...you're right," Steve said. "We have to tell someone."

"But we don't have any proof. No one will believe us," Ruby replied sadly.

"We could...we could..." Steve tried thinking of something they could do.

"Sorry, but without proof, we can't do anything," Ruby said.

"Wait! She knows about our plans to attack Mojang!" Steve exclaimed.

"That's what I was trying to tell you," Ruby said.

"We have to stop her! She could tell Mojang!" Steve said.

"I broke her phone. There's no way she could communicate with them," Ruby answered.

Steve thought for a moment. Then a realization hit him.

"Cameras," he whispered.

"What?" Ruby asked.

"Cameras! Mojang probably has cameras down here somewhere! Alex could find one and tell them about our plans!" Steve said worriedly.

"Why would they have cameras in a ravine?" Ruby asked.

Steve turned and looked at her.

"I lost my pig in a ravine because of cameras," he said, jabbing a finger at her chest. "Don't question me."

He raced off.

Ruby followed him.

Steve climbed to a high point in the cave and looked around for Alex. "Do you see her?" he asked when Ruby stood next to him.

"There!" Ruby exclaimed, pointing.

Alex was on the ground floor of the ravine, near some lava. She finished mining some iron, then looked around.

She ducked inside of a passage way.

"Oh no," Ruby said. "That way leads to the unexplored areas. There's gotta be cameras down there!"

"We have to stop her!" Steve said, and he jumped off the cliff.

Ruby gasped and looked down.

Steve had fallen in some water.

Does he do this often? she thought, and she jumped in after him.

Steve swam to the edge of the water and started running for where they saw Alex. He heard Ruby land in the water behind him.

They ran past Tommy, who was mining some iron. He looked up when Steve and Ruby ran by.

Steve and Ruby ran into the passage Alex had gone in. They followed the corridor as fast as they could, turning a corner.

There was a long hallway. They saw Alex turning the corner at the end of it.

Steve and Ruby kept running.

They turned the corner and found a dark hallway. They could just make out Alex's orange hair flipping as she turned another corner.

They kept running and Steve tripped on a rock. He got back up. Ruby was ahead of him now.

They turned the other corner.

There was a pit of lava.

Alex was on the other side of it, mining away the bridge. She smiled at them.

Ruby got out her pickaxe but accidentally dropped it in the lava with her clumsy hands. Steve checked his inventory for his.

He must've dropped it when he tripped.

There was no way across.

Alex pressed a hidden button on a wall. A camera popped out.

"This is Alex, the Mojang spy," she said.

"NO!" Steve shouted.

"The Resistance is planning on staging a full on attack on Mojang Headquarters. They are currently preparing for the attack. Expect it in a few days," Alex said to the camera.

"ALEX!" Steve yelled.

"I request a pickup back to base. My coordinates are..." Alex started saying a bunch of numbers that Steve didn't understand.

"Bye bye," Alex said as a Nether portal appeared behind her. The center turned blue.

Alex smiled at them before stepping through.

"Looks like you failed," she said, and she stepped through the portal.

The portal disappeared.

Such drama.

Anyway, I thought about the animating this into a movie thing. And there are several reasons why it is impossible for anyone to animate this.

•blue Nether portals

•helmets on monsters that can't have helmets

•trucks, guns, cameras, helicopters

•The Iron Destroyer

•monsters speaking.

•a giant End portal

•a lot of other stuff

So sorry, but a movie most likely won't be happening.

Thanks for reading, and don't forget to vote, comment, and follow!

Update whatever day it is/16: Yes, I am aware that it is possible to animate those things. I am still not making this into a movie. Please do not ask me to.
