The last time Odessa went to an aquarium was when she was really young, when her parents were still married. It was for her birthday, all Odessa wanted to see was the mermaids that would swim in the tank with the fish. Her father had called ahead of time and asked if they would wear pink and purple tails, her favorite colors, and imagine the shock on a young Odessa's face when she saw the pink and purple mermaid tails in the tank. It was her favorite birthday present.

Passing by the large fish tanks, Odessa watched the beautiful aquatic animals swim around her: small fish, big fish, sharks. She turned her head to Eli and smiled at the way the blue light shadowed his skin. She squeezed his hand, causing him to look her way. "What?" He said with a smile.

"Nothing. Just. . ." She stopped walking and turned to him. "I'm really happy to be here with you." Odessa sat on the edge of the tank.

Eli stood in front of her, both of his hands in hers.

"In this crazy, unpredictable world, you've remained the calm to my storm," she continued and looked up to meet his eyes. "I love you, E."

"I love you more, Dess. Is everything okay?" He grew a smirk. "Not that I don't love the affection I'm getting right now."

She chuckled. Odessa pulled on his hands and Eli leaned down, pressing his lips to hers.

"Get a room, would ya?" Grayson teased when he and Hailey walked by the couple.

They broke apart and Odessa playfully glared at him. "We can if you insist," she replied with a smirk, Eli's eyes going wide.

"OH!" He belted as Hailey slipped out a laugh.

The couple laughed again. Odessa turned her head the other direction and her smile dropped when she saw Tory standing there. Eli followed her eyes and his face dropped as well. "Come on," he muttered and helped her up.

"Odessa," Tory spoke just as they started to walk away.

Odessa paused, going stiff. Eli eyed her, looking for a response to what she wanted to do. She sighed quietly. "I'll come find you in a minute, okay?"

His eyes flickered above her head before nodding. Eli squeezed her hand once more and he let go, walking off.

The blonde inhaled a sharp breath then she turned around, meeting Tory's watchful eyes. At first, it was silent between the two, Tory searching for something to say while Odessa didn't feel like saying anything at all. She scoffed a laugh. "I've never seen you so speechless," she spoke sarcastically.

"Odessa, please," Tory sighed.

"Please, what? What do you have to say to me right now?"

"I want you to understand."
