Chapter 66

                                        

                                              
The Resistance was prepared.
                              
They had given everyone full sets of iron armor, and their choice of a bow or iron sword.
                              
Nina and one other female Villager were staying back to watch Louis, Emily, and the rest of the kids.
                              
The rest of them were ready.
                              
They marched out of the bunker and stood in the ruins of Creektown. Lourd, Steve, Jay, and Ruby were in the front. Sharky, Kirai, Scullscan, Nomis, Tommy, and Manga were somewhere in the crowd of sixty people.
                              
"It's time!" Lourd shouted. "To stop Mojang, once and for all!" 
                              
The Resistance cheered.
                              
"To Mojang Headquarters!" Lourd yelled. 
                              
The army started marching.
                              
They had made it down the mountain and were marching through the grassland, when Lourd made them stop.
                              
"What is it?" Steve asked.
                              
"Look," Lourd said, pointing. "In the distance."
                              
Steve strained to see that far, Lourd must have super vision or something. But then he saw it.
                              
Five Nether portals.
                              
With blue centers.
                              
Figures stared marching out of the portals and towards the Resistance army.
                              
"I thought you said their troops were spread too thin," Steve said to Lourd. 
                              
"They are," Lourd said.
                              
"Then who are they?" Steve asked.
                              
Lourd didn't answer. The figures got closer. Steve recognized what they were.
                              
"Oh no," Jay said.
                              
Zombie Pigmen.
                              
Ghasts. 
                              
Blazes.
                              
Magma Cubes.
                              
Wither Skeletons.
                              
All with iron helmets, and glowing red eyes.
                              
"How are they..." Ruby trailed off.
                              
"Alright, listen up!" Lourd called to the Resistance. "We will battle the Nether monsters here!"
                              
"Lourd, they can't all survive this," Steve pointed out. "We need to get to Mojang Headquarters."
                              
The Nether monsters marched closer.
                              
"I know," Lourd said. "We'll go. This is obviously their last means of defense."
                              
"Who's going?" Ruby asked.
                              
"You, Steve, Scullscan, Enderspi, and I," Lourd replied.
                              
"What about me?" Jay asked.
                              
"We need you here to fight the Nether monsters," Lourd answered. 
                              
"How are we gonna get to Mojang?" Steve asked.
                              
The Nether monsters were still coming closer.
                              
"Nomis has teleportation potions," Lourd replied. Then he turned to the Resistance. "Nomis, Enderspi, and Scullscan, come forward!" he called.
                              
They ran up to them.
                              
"We need five teleportation potions," Lourd said to Nomis.
                              
Nomis whipped the potions out. "Scullscan and Enderspi, you're going to Mojang Headquarters with us," Lourd said.
                              
"Yes, sir," Scullscan replied.
                              
"Awesome," Sharky said.
                              
"Nomis, try to reverse these monsters here," Lourd said. "When you've done all you can, join us at Headquarters."
                              
"Yes, sir," Nomis replied. "Now, think of where you want to go as clearly as you can."
                              
Steve, Ruby, Lourd, Sharky, and Scullscan obliged. They thought of where they wanted to go, and drank the potions.
                              
They slowly disappeared.

Steve felt himself reappear. He looked around.
                              
He was outside of Mojang Headquarters. They were inside the iron gates, but not inside the building yet.
                              
Steve looked up. Mojang Headquarters was a huge building, at least 700 blocks tall. (Lol that's not even possible.) 
                              
Lourd, Ruby, Enderspi, and Scullscan appeared next to Steve.
                              
"Are you guys ready for this?" Lourd asked.
                              
Scullscan took a deep breath and nodded. 
                              
"Totally," Sharky replied.
                              
"I guess so," Ruby said.
                              
"As ready as I'll ever be," Steve said.
                              
"Then let's go," Lourd said.

They used TNT from Lourd to blow up the door. Strangely, there was no security outside.
                              
But there was some inside.
                              
Four Mojang people in leather armor charged at the intruders when they saw them.
                              
Sharky whipped out his redstone pistol and shot all four of them. They dropped to the floor.
                              
"Let's go!" Lourd shouted. They ran past a man who was cowering behind his desk. They pressed the up button on the elevator.
                              
There was an awkward silence as the elevator came down from floor 99. 
                              
They waited.
                              
After a couple minutes, the elevator arrived and they stepped in.
                              
"Which floor is Notch's office?" Steve asked.
                              
"100," Lourd replied.
                              
I wonder how he knows that, Steve thought as he pressed the button for floor 100. But he decided not to ask.
                              
There was another awkward silence as the elevator moved up to floor 100.
                              
"So...what's the plan?" Steve asked.
                              
"I don't know," Lourd replied. "I honestly didn't think we would get this far."
                              
"Do we just...kill Notch?" Steve asked.
                              
"Depends. First we ask how to reverse the monsters," Lourd said.
                              
"I thought Nomis was the only one who could?" Scullscan asked.
                              
"There's gotta be another way only Notch knows about," Lourd said.
                              
"Okay," Steve said.
                              
"It's not normal for them to have almost no security," Ruby said. "I wonder where they all are."
                              
"I don't know, but hopefully, it's a good thing."
                              
They kept waiting.

This is slightly shorter because I want what happens next to be its own chapter. 
                              
Also I may not update as much as I usually do this week for reasons.
