Before I start this chapter, I'd like to say thanks for 1k reads! So, should I do something about that? Any ideas?

Anyway, enjoy the chapter!

Steve, Jay, Scullscan, Kirai, Tommy, Todd, Godhand, Lee, Dee, and Cupcake were still walking through the desert. They had all finished all of their food, and were getting hungry.

Day was breaking. The sky was lit with gray.

Steve was still wondering about why Herobrine had saved them. Wasn't he a bad guy? Why would he save a couple of ragtag Resistance members?

"How much longer?" Jay whined childishly.

"It's just over this dune," Scullscan replied.

As they crossed over the dune, they saw the village. It was a sandstone village, still in the desert. But Steve could see a forest not too far away from it.

Villagers milled about. There didn't seem to be any Minecraftians that lived here, besides Scullscan.

There was a sandstone well in the center, and various houses, churches, and libraries. There was also a watchtower and a forge.

But the best sight to Steve was the trucks. There were at six of them over by the forge. They all said "Mojang" on the side, so they must've stolen them from Mojang.

But that didn't matter, as long as they could use the trucks.

"Alright, follow me," Scullscan said quietly. "They don't like strangers running into their village. Also, don't make any sudden movements."

Steve saw Jay raise an eyebrow. Steve was confused too. Don't make any sudden movements? What were they, aliens?

But the nine of them did as they were told anyway. Scullscan led them into the center of the village.

When they got there, a whole crowd of Villagers were staring at them.

"Who goes there?" one of them asked.

"Hey Bill, it's me, Scullscan," Scullscan replied.

"Scullscan? What kinda name--"

"We've been over this before, Bill," Scullscan interrupted exasperatedly. "At least eight times."

"Ah, yes, Scullscan!" Bill suddenly said happily. "Did you collect the electricity?"

"No, sorry," Scullscan said. "We kinda destroyed the power plant..."

"You did what?!" another Villager asked as the other ones started murmuring amongst themselves.

"Okay, for the record, we didn't mean to," Scullscan explained. "There were these Creepers, and iron rising from the ground, and this upside down Creeper that could talk, and--"

"Okay, hold on," Bill interrupted. "So what you're saying is these people behind you blew up the power plant?"

"No, no!" Scullscan said quickly. "These are my new friends! They were trying to stop the Creepers, but they accidently blew them up!"

"So they did destroy it."

"Yes. No! Um..."

"That's it! Get them!" Bill shouted.

The Villagers rushed forward, around Scullscan. They surrounded the nine Resistance members. And they attacked them with...

Sticks?

The Villagers were hitting the Resistance members with sticks. Not weapons, just sticks.

It still kinda hurt, though.

"Enough!" Steve shouted. "Can we just explain ourselves?"

The Villagers stopped. "Fine," Bill said.

And so Steve explained everything. He told them about the Resistance, how Mojang was evil, how the nine of them went to attack the power plant, how Mojang attacked Creektown while they were gone, and how they needed to borrow the trucks to get back.

"So what I'm hearing from this is," Bill said. "That you did mean to destroy the power plant! Get them!"

The Villagers started hitting them with sticks again. Steve heard one of them yell, "I wanted to watch TV!"

"Okay, okay, stop!" Scullscan yelled. "I wasn't going to be able to get electricity anyway! Can you just let them borrow the trucks?"

The Villagers stopped hitting them again. Bill thought for a moment.

"Sure," he finally said. "But they have to earn it."

"How?" Jay asked.

"By beating us," Bill answered. "In a game of Spleef!"

Jean's Point of View

(I know it hasn't been eight chapters yet but I have to explain something.)

Jean was in Notch's office yet again. He has called her for another meeting.

"The bounty hunters failed, and the strike team has made it to Leonardtown, correct?" Notch asked.

"Yes sir," Jean replied. "I was listening in on their conversation. They want to borrow the trucks so they can get back to Creektown. First, they are going to play a game of Spleef."

"Let them have their fun, then," Notch said. "But when they are in the trucks, driving back to Creektown, we will attack."

"Which unit shall I send in, sir?" Jean asked.

"None of them," Notch replied. "I have an even better idea."

"What is that, sir?" Jean asked.

"Prepare four blocks of soul sand and three Wither Skeleton heads," Notch answered.

"Because we're sending in the Wither."

That was a short chapter. Only 800 words. I usually make my goal 1000 words per chapter.

Speaking of 1000, thanks for 1k reads! Again, any ideas on what I should do about that? Something special, maybe?

Thanks for reading, and remember to vote, comment, and follow!
