Rimmon was watching the Arc Angel, the mortal and the Neutral contrust a slightly asymmetrical symbol out of chalk, candles and a cheap hibatchi charcoal grill. The look on his face was a mix of disgust and amusement and despite his constant stream of admonishments that this was a stupid idea that would end with all of them killed, he was the one directing the others on how to set up the most powerful summoning sigil possible.

"Normally I'm on the OTHER side of this shit." Rimmon growled under his breath, slightly adjusting the alinement of one of the candles and a single white rose.

"Normally I'm trying to stop people from even trying to learn this shit." The Arc Angel Gabriel growled back.

"Normally I'm trying to stay as far away from this shit as possible." Coyote added his two cents in, knowing that it would rile up the already snarling immortals.

"Normally I'm screaming someone's name and getting pounded into the sheets by this time of night." Belle said her part and shut all the men up.

The blonde smiled softly as Rimmon started to laugh, Coyote joining in a moment later. Only Gabriel didn't find the comment funny, and Belle was pretty sure that was entirely due to possessiveness. And secretly she loved it. With her regulars, if one of them got possessive, she dropped them right away. It was too dangerous to let that kind of thing happen. But with Gabriel, it was all different. He wasn't interested in her because of her face, or her body or her job. He really was in love with her soul, and that made the once escort feel all flustered and girly in ways she hadn't for years. The Arc Angel ignored the other two men present and pulled Belle over to wrap his arms around her and glowered at the rest.

"The only name you'll be screaming from here on out is MINE." The Arc warned, a rumble in his voice.

Rimmon held back the laughter that danced in his blood as he realized that the Arc Angel was undeniably head over heels for the whore. She was a sweet girl, and Rimmon had nothing but respect for the woman herself, but he felt it was a little stupid getting all worked up over a mortal. His situation with Lone was different, she literally held a piece of his soul. He needed to get it back if he wanted to go back to the way he was before. The question the demon refused to ask right now was whether or not he really wanted things to go back to the way they were. Even though Lone tried to push everyone away and depend only on herself, somehow the Demon had been pulled in along with a slew of other unlikely sorts and now Rimmon was torn. He had one foot still firmly planted in the world of the Descended, but more and more of him was getting pulled into the light. The Demon knew he had one trump card to play that would get him back in the good graces of his kin should he choose to stay Descended.

When Gavin had torn off his wings and cast aside his Ascended nature to be with Lone, Rimmon's own bond to the mortal woman hooked the now Fallen angel. If Rimmon wanted to, he could Tempt the once angel and make not just Lone, but Gavin his own menagerie. It was a mighty tempting thought.

"Is that all?" Coyote asked, pulling the Demon out of his thoughts.

Rimmon eyed the sigil on the floor, looking passed the strangely beautiful symbol to see the Power that filled it. There wasn't a single mar or flaw that weakened the symbol. They might just have a chance to get out of this alive. All of them.

"Come on. I know it hurts but I need you to keep with me ok?" Lone took more of Gavin's weight onto her shoulders. The arm she had curled around his waist was drenched in his blood and she knew he was getting weaker by the minute.

They weren't gonig to make it. Lone knew that. She didn't even know how to get out of this place let alone back to the earth she knew and with Gavin close to passing out from blood loss, she was out of time. Leaning her fallen angel against a wall for a moment, Lone dashed to an intersection and used her weird aura sight to find a room that was empty. It hurt to open her self up like that here, the auras had more power here and they burned her eyes and often made it feel like someone had poured hot tar over her skin.

Stumbling back to her Fallen, Lone shouldered his weight again, only capable of carrying him those few short steps to the possibly safe room, and then she collapsed too. Kicking the door shut, Lone crawled on her knees to lock the door and then slumped against it. Gavin was laying on his stomach, ripped back left exposed to the cool air of the dungeons they traveled through. Lone felt her breath hitch for a moment as she saw the remnants of his beautiful wings in the few random feathers stuck to the drying blood on his back. Although Lone had killed her father to save herself and she made a living as a fighter, the amount of violence that his destroyed wings represented flabbergasted her.

Reaching a slightly shaking hand out, Lone gently touched Gavin's back, staying clear of the open tears and stroking her fingers along the muscles low on his back. Like it had so long ago, her touch seemed to ease some of the pain he endured. It wasn't just a wishful delusion in her mind either, Lone saw the skin of his back slowly start to knit together the more she touched and stroked his bare skin.

"You need to stay awake Gavin. Please." her voice was low, whispered in the dim light of the room. She was glad that the blood looked black in this lighting or else her mind would probably be mid freak out, dredging up all kinds of horrible memories from her past.

Her Fallen mumbled something entirely incomprehensible but it still made Lone smile. He was responding, which meant he was still awake. Seeming to realize that Lone wasn't psychic, he turned his face to speak clearly. "This is going to sound like such a line, but please keep touching me, you make the hurt go away."

Lone laughed, a sad sounding little bark and tried to ignore the sting of tears in her eyes. This was probably the only time in her life where her hands brought healing instead of more hurt. She was jsut grateful to whatever higher power there was for making her able to help this man. She could see it now, even if he didn't say anything about it. Gavin's aura had lost the shine and sheen that Lone now knew meant Other. His aura was still beautiful and gltitering, but he wasn't the same. He wasn't just a man, but he wasn't an immortal now either.

"Can you sit up? I don' think the cold floor is going to do you any good." she moved to help him slowly sit up. He couldn't lean against the wall or door like she was, so Lone pulled him to mostly slump against her, letting Gavin rest his head on her shoulder. "I love you." the words slipped out. It was probably the most unromantic time or place for Lone to realize this, but the moment it occured to her, she said the words out loud. She felt the man leaning against her literally stiffen up, his breath catching. When at first he said nothing back, Lone had to fight off the urge to run. He'd said the words to her before and she never returned them until now, it was only fair that she wait for him this time.

Gavin lifted his head finally and looked at Lone's profile. The woman was too damn stubborn to even look at him right now, the pain htat danced in her eyes warning that she was feeling vulnerable and was ready to run. So he kissed her cheek, a soft swipe of the lips. It was supposed to be chaste and affectionate, but the moment his lips touched her, he felt a relief of pain start to pour into his body from her. Gavin gasped and pulled back, startled and a little alarmed that he'd hurt her to help himself.

But the surprised look in Lone's eyes said that she'd felt whatever that was too. She arched an eyebrow at him and a smile tugged her lips but she stayed quiet. Moving very slowly, Gavin inched his face closer to hers and very gently kissed her lips, still a chaste kiss. THe relief was stronger this time, tumbling into his body and the pain peeled away a little more. He didn't get to be gentle after that because Lone seemed to have realized that the kisses were making him stronger.

She didn't question it, if touching him blocked some of the pain and kissing him actually helped heal him a little, she wanted to do everything she could to help him survive. She loved this man and now she knew she needed him too. Lone pressed her hand to his chest, mirroring hte mark that remained over her own and felt the strange gold rope that stretched between them thrum with vitality. Unable to fight her own wants, the desire she felt in Gavin and the pull of the bond between them, Lone decided that she wanted to give herself to this man. He'd been her choice all along and the only one who hadn't seen it was Lone.

Breaking the kiss only long enough to pull the shirt over her head, Lone smiled at the surprise in Gavin's eyes, then kissed him again. Gavin cautiously brought a hand to cover the mark over her heart and nearly groaned when he found her completely bared to his touch. He wasn't a strong enough man to resist the silken skin of her breast and he gently kneaded her chest with his strong fingers, making her moan into the kiss.

They both broke apart and frnatically pulled at the pants they wore, Gavin moving faster now that he was distracted from his back. If either one had been paying attention, they would have seen that the skin had knitted itself shut already, but they were both far too eager to finally be able to explore the other to stop now.
