Hello to all my fabulous readers out there! I want to thank everyone for providing so much productive feedback for my book. Especially feedback on Macy's character. There were enough comments about her, and the purse scene, that I questioned the direction I'd taken. So I went back through the chapter (chapter 2) and reviewed the details again with a fine toothed comb. I spent some time doing a slight rewrite, specifically around that scene where she finds the purse. There is a change in dynamic now, which I hope allows for the the scene to provide some clarity for future chapters. For this reason you probably want to reread chapter 2 — sorry to make you go back! 🥰 I know it's probably a pain, however if you don't read the edits, you may lose out on the clarity that's probably necessary for Macy's character in particular.
