Happy Easter!

Like the last full moon, Draco was intent on getting as much physical contact with Harry as possible. This time, he was much more determined to be by his side. Draco had even followed him into the loo in the morning. Harry could see his pupils were larger when he watched him. Harry tried to do things that wouldn't increase the staring, but Draco was definitely affected by the moon's thrall. So, Harry had to carefully interact with him.

He didn't think that Draco would jump him if he did something wrong, but Draco might try to trap him and force a connection. His animal side was a lot more prevalent in the hours before the full moon. He even heard Draco growling as he watched him – the lustful kind. Harry pretended to ignore it, but he couldn't help but respond to the attention. Draco knew he did, too.

Still, Harry wouldn't act on it or allow Draco to get out of hand. Draco wasn't in his right mind. He knew Draco's wolf had latched onto him, and he had no idea if he should press human-Draco about it. Certainly, he couldn't bring it up now, hours from the moon. He contented with moving slowly and not getting especially close to Draco. He tried reading a bit, and studiously ignored the trembling in Draco's hands, as though Draco was holding back his wolf with everything he had.

After dinner, Harry got him to drink his potions, and then he side-Apparated Draco to the bunker. Draco's demeanor changed immediately to scared. He whined as Harry put up the remaining wards left open for them.

"Shh... it's going to come soon. I'll be right here, okay?"

Draco nodded, done with words. Harry guided him into the cell and held up the blanket he had brought. Draco nodded appreciatively. He dropped his clothes and accepted the blanket.

"Thanks, Harry. For everything. I'm sorry I'm...."

"Don't mention it."

"I'm sorry for the... staring and stuff..." he mumbled.

"It's the full moon, Draco. Everything is heightened, and you lose control. I don't blame you."

Draco was quiet for a while, except for gasps of pain as his body prepared to shift, regardless of the binding mark. Then he whispered, "Lupin stopped by once... while you were out...."

Harry looked at him. "What?"

"He wanted to tell me that my scent is calling wolves to me. The pack... wants me for my child."

"Don't worry. We'll protect you."

"But... Harry... I can live the rest of my life in hiding, but... my child can't," Draco whimpered as the pain brought him to his knees. "They're always going to be after him or her... to make them be a werewolf, if the child isn't one."

"I won't let anything happen to your child, and I won't trade anyone to them for peace. That camp wasn't fit for animals, much less humans."

Draco looked up at him, his eyes glowing. "I don't think we'll be able to stop them all."

"Watch me," Harry spat, though Draco's words were getting to him.

"The pack is huge and can make more wolves. All it takes is one to grab the child or me."

"We'll be careful," he said.

Draco sobbed a bit before he dropped to the floor and screamed as the full moon rose higher on the horizon.

Once again, Harry watched him transform, or rather, slightly change. His nails, fangs and hair grew, the same as the last full moon. His muscles rippled like they wanted to change, but the binding mark held them in place. Wolf-Draco was still whimpering, and Harry decided to wait until it was necessary to call the blanket back. Draco's head lifted, and he smelled the air. He analyzed the room for threats, before locking eyes on him.

He came up from under the blanket and circled the cage, sniffing everything. He kept looking back at him, though. He ran back and forth and seemed excited when staring at him. Harry tried not to watch, but literally, all of Draco was on display. He felt arousal brewing in him, and he tried to stop it with some painful images of Snape and McGonagall kissing. However, Wolf-Draco was extremely interested in his interest. He kept running around and showing off, though he was confined.

"Come on! Stop," Harry muttered.

The werewolf stopped and whined for his acknowledgment. Harry knew his delay had caused Draco some distress last time, even when he was human, again. He came closer.

"Easy... no biting, okay?"

Draco closed his mouth and licked his lips. He put his head on the crossbeam of the bars and whined. He wanted pets... attention. Harry debated petting Draco. Last time, he was actively defending Draco, so the wolf knew he saved him. But wolf-Draco whined painfully and pulled his head back. Harry was about to comfort him when Draco spun around and presented his ass to him.

Harry choked on nothing and went red with embarrassment. Holy Merlin, he wasn't expecting a full up-close view of Draco's butt and privates. He couldn't help but feel things that he knew he shouldn't and stopped it as best he could.

"No! Draco... come here," he said, quickly.

Wolf-Draco immediately turned around and came, and Harry slowly petted his head. There was no sign of teeth. Draco sat down with his butt wiggling and enjoying the physical contact. He got the werewolf to lay down against the bars, again, and he petted him all over. Wolf-Draco was nearly out, as Harry caressed him for hours, enjoying the soft, short fur that was all over his body.

Halfway through the night, a howl pierced the sky. Draco was up and ready to attack the enemy. Harry got his wand out. He hoped it would have taken longer for the pack to locate them. He walked to the window. Two wolves were outside the line and one let out another shrieking howl. He was calling the pack to them. Harry had no idea how many were in the woods near them, but it didn't take long before five more showed up. He recognized the wolf with a cut on its face. The pack leader was there.

Draco was whining and backing into the solid wall behind him. Harry watched as the wolves slowly dismantled the wards, slicing through the magic with their claws. Harry conjured physical barriers, but they went around them before he could push them out. Suddenly, they crashed through the last magical barriers and slammed into the reinforced door. Harry shot more spells at them, Severing Charms, ropes, and anything else he could think of. Even Avada Kedarva, though he hated doing it.

The werewolves were too fast and leapt out of the way, or the spells bounced off them. He held them off for nearly two hours. Even a Protego Horribilis pushed them back for nearly twenty minutes, and Harry was getting weak from the magic. Maybe he should have asked Hermione and Ron to come. The three of them would have been able to hold them off. There was still over an hour of moonlight left. He wasn't going to make it.

The wolves were clawing through the cement barriers and trying to fit through the small window Harry was using. There were nearly a dozen werewolves attacking the roof, walls and door. Nails were starting to come through. Harry was considering trying a Protego Horribilis, again, but didn't want to risk passing out. He tried to reinforce the spots the wolves were coming in, which was slowing them down. Holes were appearing everywhere.

Suddenly, a gnashing werewolf head broke through the door and nearly came through. Harry conjured another wall and slammed it on him, but the werewolf was pushing it back. It was stronger. Harry physically pressed the cement wall against the door, as the werewolf tried to squirm around it. Harry couldn't hold the door and cast spells. The holes in the roof were getting bigger, and soon, the wolves would be coming in from everywhere.

He looked at Draco, still crouched against the back wall, belly on the floor and arms and legs under him, scared shitless. He couldn't leave him. He made his decision. He let go and cast a Alohomora spell on Draco's cell door. He made it inside and slammed the cell door shut just as the werewolf behind the door burst into the bunker. He crashed into the bars of the cell, snarling and trying to swipe at him through the bars.

Harry sent a Bone-Crusher spell at the limb and the werewolf howled in agony. More wolves swarmed in through the opening and were smashing against the bars. Harry fired more spells, but the wolves healed and returned to clawing the bars apart. Harry was shaking from exhaustion and, as a last effort, he conjured thick stone walls, slowly covering the outside and then the inside of the bars. The wolves would need time to get through them, and also the bars in between.

The noise was instantly gone. The wolves could barely be heard with human ears. They should be safe until sunrise. Harry backed into the back wall and slid down. He nearly sat on Draco, but the werewolf moved out of the way. Harry felt a little afraid as Draco was now looking down at him. He didn't have the strength to fight or cast another spell. He needed to save his strength to Apparate out in the morning.

Draco's head dipped, and he moved forward to lick his hand, again. Harry petted his head. "We're safe, Draco."

The werewolf whined, and his claw-like hands climbed onto his chest. The sharp claws nearly pierced through his skin.

"Ow! Watch the claws!" he grumbled, and Draco folded his fingers inward.

Harry couldn't believe that the werewolf understood him so well. Draco laid down on him, slightly more possessively than at home. Harry could feel Draco's member against his leg, but this wasn't about sex. Draco's nose found its way to Harry's neck, and his hands gently pawed at his chest as though Draco wanted to burrow into his embrace. Harry wrapped his hands around Draco, rubbing his back gently, only grazing his bitemark.

Draco whined softly and licked his neck, careful to not bite him. Harry trusted the werewolf and turned his head to open up his neck. Draco stopped whining and was wagging his butt, again. He licked more, and even lick-washed Harry's face. Again, it wasn't sexual, or Harry didn't feel it was. After Draco decided that Harry was properly claimed, he settled back into his neck. Harry just kept petting him, as the sounds from the burrowing wolves were getting louder. Draco was shaking more and more.

"I think you were right, Draco. They're never going to stop. I could have been bitten or killed. Hermione and Ron might have to come next time," he murmured.

Draco whined softly.

"I don't want to live with the fear that our... I mean... your child will get snatched... or turned or killed. I couldn't imagine the pain of knowing what they could do to him or her. Or what they'd do to the child."

Draco patted his chest with his paw and met his eyes.

"We have to take out the pack... or... take out the leader. That new alpha even told me that they would let me take over. Plenty of the werewolf books say that the pack will follow the strongest wolf. I won't let them win. I only need to challenge the leader and win. Then I'll be in charge, and they will obey me."

Draco tilted his head, unsure.

"But... I need to be a wolf. This attack only shows how much I need to be one," Harry murmured, looking at the wall.

He didn't want to risk waiting for another moon for them to succeed in getting Draco. He also didn't want to take the choice away from Draco, but if he waited until the next full moon, Draco could take steps to stop his plan. And Harry might need to adjust to being a werewolf.

"Draco? I'm sorry... but I'm been considering this for a while. I want to join with you... be equal to you and fight for you... for us. I make this decision... without regret. I choose you, okay?" he whispered.

Draco whimpered and bumped his hand with his nose.

Harry had no interpretation for that. He petted Draco and pulled his head up. "I want to be a werewolf. I want you to bite me, Draco."

Draco straightened up and tilted his head, considering. He lifted up and sniffed his arm. He followed it up to his chest and then neck. He licked it as though choosing his spot. The spot Draco always went to, even when he was human. Harry turned his head. It was probably a terrible place to bite, artery-wise, but he trusted Draco not to kill him.

Draco licked him again and then opened his mouth. His teeth latched onto a small area on his neck, but he didn't bite down. He held, waiting for permission.

"Bite me, Draco," Harry said, softly.

Draco growled lightly, and then his teeth pressed hard, breaking the skin as Draco latched on for a moment and didn't let go. Harry cried out in pain, but Draco didn't dig in any further. Harry felt jolts of pain radiating outward, and his vision dimmed temporarily. Draco eventually let go and then started licking the blood away. Harry felt the change immediately as the werewolf venom spread, but he felt Draco's tongue even more. The sensation of Draco licking his bitemark was nearly overwhelming. Now, he understood why Draco enjoyed it so much. He could feel Draco's love and trust right through the bond.

Harry started shaking from the emotions he was feeling. His soul was singing from it, and Draco just kept licking. He could feel Draco's fear, too, and the pain of his memories. He could even see images of Fenrir towering over him, of the pack watching the Alpha stake his claim and even of Draco presenting himself to his cruel alpha. Harry tried to stop the flow, but wolf-Draco was intent on sharing his memories.

More flashes of Raulf, Ryman, Scabior and the others came. Each was just as cruel as the others. Then came the familiar scene where Raulf and the other wolf were abusing him. Harry saw himself come in. He could feel the instant connection Draco had with him. Wolf-Draco recognized his power and strength... virtue. Wolf-Draco knew, in that moment, that Harry would save him.

Harry was still getting lost in Draco's emotions and memories when Draco jerked away and rolled away. He landed on his back and writhed on the floor. The moon must have set. Harry watched the hair recede into his skin, and his claws and fangs shrink. He took down a few of the wards that remained and just grabbed Draco's arm. Then he Apparated them home.
