Slowly, I fluttered my eyes open, stretching my arms. It felt like I was lying on the softest cloud... and then the memories slammed back into me—last night... getting kidnapped... by that bastard.

Heart pounding, I shot up, taking in my surroundings. The room was smaller and minimalist, all stark white with one small window. Panic washed over me. It wasn't a regular room—it looked like I was on a plane. A private jet, no less.

I scrambled out of the bed, nearly tripping as I rushed to the door, yanking it open. The hallway was empty, eerily quiet, with luxurious finishes that screamed wealth. Before I could take another step, I heard his voice.

"Oh, so you're awake," he drawled smoothly, that infuriating smirk still plastered on his face.

I whirled around to find him lounging comfortably with a tablet in hand, looking way too relaxed for someone who had just kidnapped me.

My fists clenched in fury as I stormed over and punched his arm with all my strength. "You jerk! How dare you kidnap me!"

He didn't flinch—no, he just smirked wider, which only fueled my anger. Seriously? This guy was enjoying this way too much. Without thinking, I launched myself at him, my hands wrapping around his throat as I pressed down, trying to squeeze.

"I swear, I'll kill you." Unbeknownst to me, I was fully straddling him, my knees on either side of his legs.
