The tension in Saad Mansion was suffocating, a thick, heavy weight pressing down on everyone. Since morning, each person trying to track Aisha, but she was proving impossible to find. Every lead hit a dead end, every effort thwarted by her uncanny ability to disappear without a trace.
Saad stood in the middle of the chaos, his phone glued to his ear, barking orders to his men. "I don't care how you do it—check every alley, every hideout! She can't vanish into thin air!" he snapped before ending the call.
Rajendra sat on the couch, his head in his hands. "One thing I don't understand—how the hell did she get her hands on the DNA reports?" His question hung in the air like a grenade about to explode.
The papers Aisha had weren't just any papers; they were the proof of her identity, that she is Rajendra Singh Oberoi's daughter.
"Who had those reports last?" Kavya's voice was sharp, her eyes flicking around the room, demanding an answer.
"I had," Arjun admitted, his tone grim. "I kept them in my closet. I don't know how she got to them."
Veer, who had been pacing restlessly, suddenly stopped. His eyes widened in realization. "Shit! We asked her to grab our outfits that day, remember? Before we left for her apartment! She must've found them then—while going through Bhaiya's clothes!"
Silence.
The weight of Veer's words crushed the room.
Rivaan broke it, his voice cold and cutting. "So you're telling me she's known the truth for three days? And none of us noticed? Three days, and she kept this to herself while we—what? Trying to destroy that marriage"
"She's good at hiding her emotions," Radhika said, crossing her arms. "But knowing the truth about all of us and pretending she didn't? That's... that's on another level. It's almost terrifying how much she's been holding in."
Aditya exhaled sharply, shaking his head. "Honestly, who would've seen this coming? Aisha is an Oberoi?"
"Fuck!" Ayush's outburst startled everyone. "And to think back in school, we didn't even know she wasn't an orphan. All those years of thinking we knew her, and it turns out we didn't know shit about her!"
Manvi, sitting next to Gaurav, leaned her head against his shoulder, her voice laced with disbelief. "Sometimes I feel like Aisha's life is a damn Pandora's box. Open one secret, and a hundred more spill out. What's next, huh?"
Gaurav shook his head. "And to think we're all here stunned, while she's out there alone, dealing with this. She doesn't deserve this—none of this."
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and Vikram stormed in, his fury palpable. "When I find her—when I finally get my hands on her—I'm going to teach her a lesson she won't forget! Hiding this from us? Running away? Does she even understand what she's done? I'm her brother now, and she's damn well going to learn what that means!"
