Riri - the silent, unreadable girl who rarely speaks, barely gambles, and always lingers in the shadows of her older sister, the Student Council President. Mary and Riri have a strange relationship: not quite friends, not quite strangers. There's a tension between them - cold glances, soft silences, unspoken respect. Mary doesn't get why Riri never gambles. Riri doesn't explain. Still, they work in sync on the Council - until one day, they don't.

Set on the day of the bet gala. Mary finds herself on the dance floor alone. Her supposed 'date' is nowhere to be found. She sighs, defeated. "I should've known. She'd never genuinely ask me out. God, how could I be so -" Mary's string of thoughts paused. As a manicured hand tapped gently at her shoulder. Riri... ♤♡♧◇

Mary didn't know when Riri found an interest in her, nor that the bet gala would lead to all that it did. She wished she had placed a bet on herself this night, or maybe on Riri. Or: The Bet Gala episode with more Mariri and some background ships, plus more gambling!
