❝ tell me that i'm wrong but i do what i please
way too many people in the addison lee
now I'm at the age when I know what I need,
oh, whoa ❞
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ciara murphy is what you would call a responsible adult. it was only when she received the grade for her final semester project that her accountability went down the drain. desperate to get their friend out of a slump and out of their miniature new york apartment, caroline's friends drag her out to the most exclusive club: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗲.
would it really be an exclusive club if rich daddy's-money private college students weren't hogging the bar? no.
meet charlie dalton. again. a forced finance major who hits the addison lee every friday, trying to find either a guy or girl who peaks his interest. when ciara murphy makes her way to his "usual seat" at the bar, he's not only intrigued, but frankly desperate to have a dance with someone who can keep up with his alcohol content.
so the midnight meetups extend all through summer. until one night they both wake up with matching sheets and a nasty hangover. the only thing that can fix this mess is an iced coffee at the 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗲: where one orders the cup and the other one makes it.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
❝ you and me and all our friends
i don't care how much we spend
baby, this is what the night is for
i know nothing's making sense
for tonight let's just pretend
i don't wanna stop so give me more ❞
