"Okay but you need to leave babe, Zach is going to call me any minute now" Madison giggled trying to push Trent off of her.

She was currently sitting on the floor, her laptop placed in front of her waiting for Zach Sang to call her on Zoom.

"I don't want to" he mumbled in her -his- hoodie interrupted by the call finally going through.

"Move" Madison laughed and Trent finally did, scooting over to the side, ready to interrupt the interview at any minute.

"Hello, beautiful humans! Today we have Madison Beer with us, hello Madison" Zach

"Hi!" the girl smiled and waved at the camera.

"So, Madison. Your performance at the EMAs. Loved that"

"Thank you ! Thanks. It was the best experience of my life, that was the most incredible night of my life."

"It was indeed an amazing performance and you also gave a shout out to Little Mix, didn't you?"

"I did. They are the best performers EVER in this entire industry and I can't get enough of them. I actually adore them"

"You are also a part of their new album 'Confetti'!" Zach asked while looking through his papers.

"I am, actually. I think we all played a huge role in each other's albums. I mean most of the songs on 'Confetti' have been co-written by me, I've participated in the harmonies and backing vocals which is really exciting. I just love being around them and music" she replied.

"So lyrics and melodies just come about? How does that work?"

"We hung out literally every day before quarantine and I think that's why everything's is coming about quite easy. We're just having fun, that's the best part of it."

"So you are featured on 'A Mess ( Happy 4 U ), can you give us some hints on what it is about?" Dan interrupted for the first time, his screen popping right next to Zach's.

"So we started this song a few weeks after I had left the UK, and it was inspired by my boyfriend" she smiled at the word, looking to her left to admire his beautiful face.

"How did Trent inspire the song?" Zach asked, intrigued.

"Do you want to say?" Trent nodded, coming to sit right beside her.

"Hello" Trent waved coming to sit behind her, his hands wrapping around her waist.

"Hi Trent"

"Trent wanna tell us how you became a song writer?" Zach laughed.

"I only gave the idea for the song but, me and Mads were having an argument because I had seen some articles that she was dating someone else, and i texted her 'if i can't be happy with you i'll be happy for yoy' and i guess that sparked the whole writing session"

Madison nodded.

"That lyric might have not applied to me at the time but the first writing me and the girls had I was like 'right, i might have the chorus for a banger'"

Forty minutes in her favourite interview of all time, the topic finally switched to her personal life.

"So guys, Trent recently had his birthday and the post... made me tear up" Zach admitted, making everybody laugh.

"I was actually so nervous to post it because I'm not generally a cheese ball but this goof makes me wanna do it" she smiled, squeezing his cheeks with her palm.

"And you've been dating for how long?" Dan continued.

"We started dating officially in March, but things had been on and off since October of last year" Trent replied, his gaze at Madison who was smiling from ear to ear.

"There have been many talks about a potential marriage, based on solely the comments that Trent leaves under your posts, no?"

"They have, yeah, but I think it's too early. We wouldn't want to rush into that, would we?"

"I mean I would" Trent laughed, causing Madison to look at him with wide eyes.

"No, I'm joking. I meant to say that -you know- I've definitely thought about it but obviously I know it's too early. Everything's just going smoothly so that's probably why"

"Would you be down Madison?" Dan jumped in the conversation.

"To get married?" She giggled.

"We haven't talked about it and I don't think I've dropped any hints but I think yeah, I would be down for that" she continued.

Trent tensed beside her, taking his arms off of her, his smile fading.

"And on that note we are going to end today's interview, thank you Mads for hanging with us this evening"

"Thank you for having me" she replied the tension obviously still in the air.

The duo ended the phone call and Madison turned to look at Trent. His smile had faded and he stood there, refusing to look at her.

"What happened to you?" she asked  her hand slowly making its way to his cheek when he suddenly got up and stomped his way out of the room.

Oh boy. She had messed up.
