Forget 💔 and Love ❤️

Aadhya looked at Rishabh who was explaining the project to the client and smiled at his skills as everyone looked almost convinced already. She always wonders that how easily everyone is charmed by him.

This was the project they worked hard for weeks and looking at the clients, she can say that the deal will be theirs. After this, they have another meeting and they also need to finalise a presentation.

She doesn't know from where he gets so much of energy and admires his presence of mind too.

He was truly a charmer.

She was noting down the points of the meeting and sighed when the meeting got finished. She stood there waiting for him until he finished talking with the clients.

" Another meeting is there in an hour." She said when he stood in front of her looking at his phone.

" Yeah." He said rubbing his forehead.

" You look tired." She voiced out walking towards the exit.

He looked up at her who is looking concerned at him.

" Yeah someone from us should be there and I need to finalise the presentation too." He said.

" I will go to the meeting and you go to the office." She said.

" Are you sure?" He asked.

" Yes, it's just a formality as everything has been done before only and they just had to hand over the papers. I will go and bring the papers." She said.

" No, you also look tired." He said.

" So, shall we ask someone from the office to go?" She suggested.

" First we both will go to the office and decide there." He said walking out of the company and she followed him.

They were walking along the fencing line towards the place where their car will be brought.

Aadhya saw a car speeding across them and her breath hitched. It went away in a blink and halted afar from them. She came around him and stood so that he will not be on the side where the road is.

She walked looking around cautiously and this didn't go unnoticed by him. His heart swelled with happiness seeing that she wants to protect him and when again a car came, she unknowingly held his arm tightly.

She was scared something will happen to him and didn't leave her grip on him until their car has arrived. He squeezed her hand and she looked at him who was looking at their interwined hands smiling. She blushed looking away and got inside the car.

He also got into the car and drove towards their office. They reached the office and Rishabh asked office boy to bring coffee for both of them.

Soon they got into the work and Rishabh asked his manager to go along with Aadhya to their clients office to get the papers. She took some files and went with their Manager.

Rishabh here in the office had gone through every presentation and finalised one which needed some changes to do. He gave instructions to his staff about the project and how they are gonna work to make it successful after they got the deal.

In between the meeting he got a call but he didn't answer and continued the meeting keeping his phone on silent. After finishing the meeting he checked his phone to see many calls from his manager.

He looked at Aadhya's desk and saw it was empty. He immediately called his manager who talked to him anxiously which made him anxious too.

He stood frozen listening to his words and tried to grasp what hiw manager was saying. He immediately took the car keys and stormed out of the office making everyone stun.

He reached the hospital and gulped the lump formed in his throat. He was scared to go inside as he doesn't know what he might see but rushed into the hospital.

His manager was waiting for him at the reception whose clothes have some blood here and there.

" What happened to her?" He shouted.

" Sir, We came out when the meeting was over and I told to Aadhya to wait until I bring the car. I brought the car out where she was waiting but I don't know what happened, one minute she was standing infront of me and in another minute she was in the middle of the road unconscious. When I went to check upon her, I understood that she was saving a little boy who was about to get hit by a vehicle and I immediately brought her to the hospital." His manager ranted.

Rishabh was scared and wanted to see her immediately. He waited outside the room where she was kept until she got treated. The doctor came out and Rishabh pounced on him asking questions.

" Doctor where is she? How is she? Is everything alright? Are there any major injuries?" Rishabh asked.

" She is alright. As she fell on her left leg with a pressure, it got fractured that's it and it will get fine in few days and there are no major injuries." Doctor replied.

" Oh." Rishabh sighed in relief.

" You are?" Doctor asked.

" I am Rishabh Malhotra.....her Boss." He said and doctor frowned.

" Where is her family?" Doctor asked and Rishabh kept mum at that as he doesn't know anything about her family.

" I don't know much about her family doctor but please tell me if anything is necessary, I will handle everything about her." Rishabh insisted and doctor nodded his head.

Rishabh told his manager to go to the office and he will be staying in the hospital. And soon this matter has spread in the whole office and somehow it went to Shiv Malhotra.

He immediately came to the hospital and saw Rishabh sitting outside the room worried.

" How is she?" Rishabh heard and looked up to see his father.

" Dad?" He looked at him puzzled.

" I came to know about the accident. How is she? Did you see her?" His father asked worried.

" Her leg is fractured dad and I was not allowed to see her because I am not from her family." He said sadly and his father went silent.

" Dad you know anyone from her family?" He asked.

" She has no one." His father whispered with tears and Rishabh was shocked to know about this.

He was more shocked to see tears in his father's eyes.

" I will go and talk to the doctor." He said and Rishabh walked silently after him.

Rishabh saw his father talking to the doctor from afar. After sometime his father comes out along with the doctor and looks at Rishabh who stood there impatiently.

" As you are saying that you are her guardian, I am allowing you both to see her.....you can go in and see her." Doctor said making Rishabh smile.

" Thank you doctor." Rishabh said wiping his eyes and runs towards her room while his father looked at his retreating back sadly.

Rishabh opened the door and peeked inside. He slowly came inside and saw her on the bed sleeping. Her leg was plastered and there are some scratches here and there.

He held her hand and sat there staring at her sleeping figure.

" Thank God you are okay.....I don't know what would I have done if something had happened to you." He said and tears fell from his eyes.

Rishabh's father looked at them standing near the door. He doesn't know whether to feel happy or sad.

" It will take time for her to gain consciousness, till then you should......" He was cut off by Rishabh.

" I will stay here only." He said looking at her face making his father sigh.

" Okay as you wish."

" Dad.....you are hiding something from me." Rishabh said caressing her hand.

" I know you want to know but it's not my place to tell you.....she will tell you when she wants to tell you." His father replied and walked out.

Rishabh clenched his jaw tightly and closed his eyes. He opened his eyes and saw her peaceful face.

" I love you." He said and kissed her forehead.

He thought about all the moments he had with her from the time she came into his life and tried to remember if he had missed something related to her but then she never expressed anything anytime.

His thoughts broke when he felt movement on his hand and saw her squeezing his hand. His heart thumped loudly and looked at her leaning towards her slightly.

She opened her eyes and saw a blur figure in front of her. She blinked her eyes until she could see properly and when she got adjusted to the light, she recognised that it was Rishabh

" Rishabh." She whispered hoarsely.

He smiled at her with tears and made her sit properly.

" Aadhya.....are you okay?" He asked concerned and she nodded her head.

" God! You scared me." Saying this he hugged her from side and she immediately felt his warmth engulfing her making her feel that she is really alive.

" Rishabh....." She called and coughed.

" Here drink some water." He said giving her water glass.

" Aman." She asked after drinking some water.

" Don't worry about him, I will take care of him." He said.

" My phone." She asked looking here and there.

He brought her phone from her things which had been kept on a table.

" I don't know how Aman will react if he comes to know about my condition......" She trailed off worried.

" Don't worry, I will handle him." Rishabh said and looked into her phone.

" Shall I ask your driver to bring Aman here?" He asked her who looked anxious.

" Yes please, his number is saved as Harish ji in my phone." She said and Rishabh immediately called him explaining the whole matter.

Harish was shocked knowing about her accident but Rishabh explained to him that she is alright now and told him that she wants to see Aman.

" I will go and inform the doctor that you are awake." He said looking at her who was lost in her thoughts.

He was scared looking at her like that.

He went and called the doctor who came in and did a check upon her. He told her to be careful until her broken leg is healed. Aadhya didn't respond and sat there staring at the wall in front of her blankly. Rishabh gave her some time and didn't disturb her.

After sometime, Aman came along with Harish to the hospital and as soon as he saw her on the hospital bed, he started crying.

" Mumma what happened to you?" He cried and she hugged him tightly controlling her own tears.

" Nothing beta just a small wound that's it." She said wiping his tears.

" But your leg......" He asked looking at the plaster on her leg.

" Hey Champ! Nothing to worry. You know how clumsy your mother is, she just fell down and got hurt." Rishabh cooed him picking up in his arms.

" So she is not going away from me?" Aman asked hiccupping.

Aadhya turned away crying silently while Harish stood there silently at a corner looking down controlling his own tears.

Rishabh frowned at his words and looked at Aadhya who was crying.

" Where she will go? We won't let her go anywhere....okay?" Rishabh asked and Aman nodded his head wiping his tears.

" Shall we go outside for sometime?" He asked Aman who got down from his arms and ran to Aadhya's side.

" No! I want to stay with mumma.....what if I am not there and God will take away her too from me?" Aman said clutching onto her tightly.

She hugged him back tightly and cried. Tears fell from Rishabh's eyes too and he turned away from them to see Harish going outside wiping his eyes.

" I will not go anywhere leaving you baby." Saying this she kissed his forehead and tears fell from her eyes.

" Don't cry mumma, I am there na..... I will protect you." Aman said wiping her tears.

" Yes ofcourse you are my little hero." She said smiling.

" No mumma, I am a super hero." He says lifting his hands up in the air making them laugh.

" Yes yes you are our super hero." Rishabh said ruffling his hair.

Harish came inside and was surprised to see three of them smiling. He was relieved looking at them like that and thanked God that nothing bad had happened to her.

" I will go and get something to eat." Harish said.

" Aman baba, will you stay here or will you come with me?" He asked.

" You go champ, I am here with mumma." Rishabh said.

" Okay....buddy please take care of mumma." Aman said and he nodded.

Aman went out with Harish while Rishabh looked at Aadhya who was lost in her thoughts.

" Aadhya, don't worry.....please take some rest." He said and she looked at him blankly.

" Look Aadhya......I don't know what happened there but please be careful next time. I....I was so scared when I got to know about the accident. Next time think about us before doing some thing like that again." Rishabh scolded her and she looked at him.

" Okay that was too much..... atleast think about Aman before you get yourself into trouble....." He said looking down blinking his tears.

" Hey I am alright now. Sorry, I just acted impulsively when I saw a little boy on the road in danger. I know how it feels losing someone in an accident and I don't want anyone to feel that loss." She said and tears spilled out of her eyes.

" I have never asked you about your family and past because I know you will not be comfortable but please understand that I am here for you and Aman. You can share with me if you want and I promise I will not force you to tell me anything you don't want to..... just know I am here for you." He said honestly and she looked at him with tears.

" Promise?" She asked.

" Promise." He said sincerely.

" If something ever happened to me then will you be there for Aman?" She asked suddenly making him shock.

" Aadhya! Nothing will happen to you!" He exclaimed angrily.

" And I will not let anything happen to you....please don't talk like that." He said in rage.

" Sorry.....but please tell me, today's incident has really shook me from inside. I am worried for Aman and that's why I wanted to know from you that if I am not there or something happens to me then.....will you be there for him? Will you take care of him?" She pleaded holding his hands.

" Ofcourse I will take care of him Aadhya.....no need to ask me and please stop saying that something will happen to you.....I can't bear that.....It's hurting me." He said with tears and she hugged him.

" I am sorry.....I know you would be there for him but I just wanted to listen that from your mouth so that I will be relieved." She whispered and he rubbed her back.

" I will always be there for both of you." He whispered back.

" I trust you." She said.

And he smiled.
