real life !

the morning of october 7th found trent alone in the bed. the scouser woke up slightly from the chirping of the birds and the sunlight coming from the open blinds.

he realised he had turned away from mads at some point in the night and instictively turned around and threw his hands where her petite body was supposed to be.

when all he touched was the white sheets and not the body of his beautiful girlfriend, he opened his almond shaped eyes, the sun getting to him so his left hand came to cover them.

after adjusting for a few seconds he decided he needed to cuddle so calling madison's name out was the only solution as he was too bored to get out of bed, also having too little time to waste as he needed to get ready for practice.

"baby" he managed to get out, his groggy morning voice not nearly loud enough to reach her, downstairs.

huffing and puffing, he made his way downstairs, only to be met with the best birthday he could ask for; madison in his liverpool shirt, singing the song she wrote for him, while cooking breakfast.

'him' was blasting through the alexander-arnold household and trent felt his smile growing bigger and bigger by the second. the thought of waking up to this everyday making his heart beat a little too fast.

he knew it was way too early for this, he just turned 22 but he just couldn't push away the feeling of coming home to this girl every night. they were already living as a married couple so why not just make it official?

his thoughts were interrupted by madison's little hands waving back and forth in front of his face. he must have been daydreaming for quite a while.

"happy birthday angel. i love youuuu" the girl squealed and jumped right into his embrace.

trent let out a little giggle, his arms coming to push the girl deeper into his body. "thank you darling, i love you more" he sighed, moving his head until he found the perfect position.

they stayed entangled for quite a while until trent broke the silence. "you made breakfast?" he asked leaning down for a quick peck.

"mhmm" the girl accepted, tilting her head upwards. 

"what time did you get up for this? it's only 5:35" trent asked, confusion written on his face

"i don't know.. maybe an hour ago?" madison said absentmindedly.

"babeee" he whined. "there was no need. you got what, like three hours of sleep?" he asked genuinely concerned.

"it's not my fault someone was eager for round four" the singer smirked, untangling herself from her boyfriend and getting behind the counter, ready to serve the breakfast.

"also, it's your birthday. i was ordered to make you your favourite breakfast from mommy"

madison calling his mom, mommy, warmed his heart, the feeling of happiness already increasing.

"also, me and robbo made a bet as to who could wish you happy birthday first. in his words i'm 'too much of a lazy bum to wake up before 6' and that he would win."

trent laughed, taking his seat to the table. his phone then ringed, andy's contact in his lockscreen.

"tell the bitch he lost" madison blurted, sitting on her stool and taking a bite of her strawberry.

"and also" she added "tell him to never cross me again cause he will lose. bitch tried to steal my man once but i'm never snoozing again. let him try."

yeah, that was definitely his favourite birthday ever.
