Aadhya was early today to complete the pending work as yesterday she went away abruptly from the office from afternoon.

She got a call from school saying that Aman was crying continuously and she went away without even giving a proper reason to her boss.

She picked up Aman from school and went home straight. He fell asleep in her arms and when he got up, she asked him the reason for his crying. He said that during the sleeping period, when he slept he got the nightmare and that's why he cried as he was scared.

She pacified him and spent whole day with him playing and talking.

" Aadhya, in my office." She heard her boss and before she could reply he stormed away.

" Sir?" She called.

" Do you have a valid reason for going away from office like that? You just said that you need to go and before I can understand what you said you were already out." He asked calmly.

" Sorry for my behavior sir, but there was an emergency at home and that's why I had to hurry up." She said softly.

He saw helplessness in her eyes.

" And about the pending work?" He asked changing the topic.

" I am doing it sir, I have come 1 hour early today so that I can finish the pending work." She said.

" Okay......you may go now." He dismissed her.

If only he could know what's bothering her so much.

Aadhya looked at the girl who is taunting Anjali and Gowri who were looking down embarrassed. This girl whose name she doesn't know is criticising their fashion sense in front of everyone.

Some people laughed at them, some people looked at them with pity and some didn't care at all but no one took a stand for them.

She heard from others about this girl who works as the head of the production department and considers herself as the super model. She even heard that she tells everyone that she is the favourite employee of Rishabh.

Aadhya frowned when that girl is coming towards her and looked at her directly.

" So you are the new girl?" She asked scanning Aadhya from top to bottom.

" No, I am not new. It's been already a month since I joined here." Aadhya stated blankly which earned some snickers.

" Watch out what you say to me if you want your job." She snarled.

" Who are you?" Aadhya asked with a straight face which earned laughs.

" What? You don't know me!" That girl screeched.

" No." Aadhya replied.

" Look girl, you cannot talk to me like that.....do you even know who I am? I can ruin your career......." She was going on saying but Aadhya cut her off.

" Look miss, I don't want to know anything about you as I have more important work than to know about you. So if you please excuse me now, I am getting late for the meeting." Aadya spoke blankly.

" What's happening here?"

They heard the voice and turned to see Rishabh standing there irritated.

" Sir, see how rudely she is talking to me. She doesn't even have some respect for the senior and talking back at me." That girl complained putting the most innocent girl face on.

" Ms.Aadhya?" He looked at her frowning for explanation.

" Mr. Malhotra, this discussion is not  more important than a meeting, we are getting late and I have to arrange the conference room also." Saying this Aadya took off to conference room.

" Ms. Dixit go back to your work, you are not only wasting your time but also others' and everyone go back to your respective works." Saying this Rishabh followed Aadya to conference room making everyone shock there.

They all thought, he would believe this girl Sonali Dixit and lash out on the new girl but he didn't.

" What was all that outside?" He asked sitting in his place looking into a file.

" It's not even worth your time to talk about it sir.....just leave it." Aadhya said hardly making arrangements for the meeting.

He nodded and looked at the presentation he made for the meeting. Soon the delegates came and the meeting started with Rishabh presenting the presentation while Aadhya took notes on everything.

The meeting was over and it looked like they got the deal but it will be known after a week. She never saw Rishabh stressing so much about something maybe this deal is important for him.

She sighed and packed her things to go home.

" Excuse me Sir, I am leaving." Aadhya said.

" I am also done for today." Saying this he got up taking his coat and bag while Aadhya looked confused at him.

" I have to go to a party." He said and she left.

They both got into the elevator and reached the basement. They both went to their respective cars after bidding byes. Aadhya sat in the car and started the car but it didn't start. She frowned and tried again and again but no use.

She got down the car and saw car tyre was punctured. She went outside to take a taxi or an auto as she was getting late. She was looking right and left and that time only a car stopped in front of her. It was Rishabh's car.

" What happened?" He asked rolling down the window.

" My car got punctured." She said worried.

" Hop in." He said casually.

She just looked at him.

" What? Come on.....I am getting late." He said looking at her who nodded her head and got in.

She gave him the directions of her house and she stared outside the window as usual. Soon they reached her house and she got down quickly.

" Thank you so much Sir." She said and turned to leave.

" Is this your house?" He asked looking at the house and she nodded uncomfortably.

" It's beautiful." He said looking at the house in awe.

" Thank you." She said genuinely.

And for the first time she smiled at him. Her eyes held some emotion he couldn't understand but he could say this house meant something to her.

She opened the gate and as soon as she stepped inside, she was attacked by Aman. He hugged her and she hugged him back kissing his forehead.

" You are late." He said pouting.

" I am sorry beta." She said and picked him up in her arms.

They both went inside not noticing Rishabh was still there in his car watching them with a smile on his face. She was a few minutes late and that boy was waiting for her at the gate worrying for her and then he understood that this might be the reason why Aadhya rushes to go to  home when the clock strikes 5:30.

He wished he also had someone who waits for him to come home.

He sighed sadly and drove away to get drunk in the party.

It was already 11:30 and Rishabh still was not at the office. Aadhya was doing her work and stalled all the meetings for today as she doesn't know if he will come to the office or not.

She took the chance of observing everything as Rishabh was not there in the office. People behave differently when he was around and in his absence everyone feels as if they are the boss.

There were only some people who works honestly and rest of them only work to show Rishabh that they are working. During lunch, she also observed the canteen. Food was alright but it wasn't hygienic and the amount of food going into the dust bin is more than the food going into the people's stomach.

Rishabh doesn't know what people are really doing behind his back and there are many things that are needed to be taken care of in this office. She noted everything in a diary and will implement them when she takes the charge.

When she was writing the list in her diary, her phone rings and she frowned at the unknown number. She picked the call and heard a groan from the other side.

" Hello?" She said.

" Hello." Came a lazy voice.

" Who is this?" She asked firmly.

" Don't you have my number?" She heard.

" Whose number?" She asked in monotone voice.

" Don't you atleast recognise my voice?" She heard a groaning.

" No." She stated and heard a loud sigh from the other side.

" It's Rishabh Malhotra." He said.

" Yes Sir." She said and he imagined her saluting him saying yes sir like a police officer as she definitely sounded like one.

He chuckled loudly on the phone which made her frown.

" We need to send documents to Sharma's, bring those documents. I will sign and you can send them." He said.

" Umm.....bring where Sir?" She asked confused.

" To my house." He stated.

" To your house?" She asked to confirm.

" Yes."

" But why don't you come to office and sign those papers?" She asked him irritated.

" Because I can't." He said.

" Why?" She asked him.

" I just woke up." He said and she sighed loudly.

" Okay." She said.

" Good, come soon." He said and was about to hang up.

" Sir!" She called him.

" What now?" He asked annoyed.

" Where is your house?" She asked him.

" I will message you my address." He said and hung up the call.

She went to his cabin and took all the needed documents. While coming out she made sure she had locked his cabin and walked towards the lift by taking her bag and phone along with the documents.

She looked at the address and sighed loudly. She doesn't want to go to his house but she had to because of this man.....doesn't know what is he doing. Soon she reached his mansion and went inside. The house was big, rich, classy but looked empty.

She can't see anyone and she doesn't know if she can go further inside. She stopped in her tracks and looked around. A man came to her asking for what she has come and she said she wants to meet Rishabh Malhotra.

That man nodded and walked upstairs. She was nervous and looked around examining things standing at one place. Surely it was a nice and big place but it didn't give her homely feeling.

" Enjoying the view?" She heard and turned around to see Rishabh standing there smirking at her.

" It's all the Italian Marble here and these are the costliest things decorated all around. You can roam and see around if you want." He said boasting about his mansion.

" Sir, documents." She said giving him the documents.

He took and examined them.

" Please sit down." He said sitting on a sofa.

She sat down and that's when a butler came to her giving water. She took the glass and gulped down the whole glass.

" Sir, I have stalled all your meetings for today and all were asking for you. Why didn't you showed up at the office?" She asked him.

" A bad hangover." He said looking into the files.

" Should I say the same reason if someone asks for you?" She asked him.

"No." He looked baffled at her who is looking confused at her.

" Just tell them I am sick." He said and she nodded her head.

He signed the documents and she took them eagerly to get out of this house.

" I will take my leave sir." She said turning to leave and he nodded.

He followed her outside and breathed some fresh air. He saw her stop and look at somewhere intently. He followed her gaze and saw she was looking at the white lily flowers that are in his garden.

" Sir, can I take some flowers?" She asked him skeptically and he just looked at her.

It was first time ever she asked him something in all these days.

" Sure." He said and saw that dazzling smile of hers again which made him speechless.

She was so happy just for flowers?

She went and plucked some flowers.

" Thank you so much." She said and kept those flowers in her car carefully. She hopped in and went away leaving him there more intrigued.

She was definitely something else.
