He was beyond furious.

His father hired a personal secretary for him.

He is the one who should be hiring his own PA according to his requirements.

Rishabh stormed into the office and he could hear the whispers going around in the office about his new PA.

He enquired his manager and got to know about this new PA.

He rolled his eyes thinking one more girl added in this office who will be ogling at him.

Not that he minds.....he surely enjoys the attention he gets from girls and he also flirts around with the girls.

Only flirting because he is not a player.

Girls throw themselves at him but he surely knows to get away from them without offending them.

As long as it is healthy and not involved any intimacy he is okay with it but that doesn't mean he is waiting for a girl to fall in love.

Rishabh is happy with his life......Single and carefree. He goes to the parties, meets his friends, drinks, dances with the girls and comes home late night only to sleep. And this behaviour of him doesn't go well with his dad who takes to him as an irresponsible and a careless person.

He cared less about what his dad thinks.

He just needs to enjoy his freedom.

It may seem to people that he is selfish but he isn't.

Thinking and caring about their happiness and freedom doesn't count as selfishness. If we only care about our happiness then it is selfishness.

He tried to tell people that but they won't understand and so he stopped explaining things.

But that doesn't mean that he doesn't care about anyone.

He just couldn't meet up to their demands.

His father wants him to be responsible, respectful and ideal person in the company.

His mother wants him to show off their richness and wants him to marry some rich top model.

He sighed if he becomes the son they wanted then he would become a robo and he shuddered at the mere thought of it.

Sometimes he wished he had a sister.....you know to tease, to fight and to share everything because he wouldn't feel too lonely like he feels  everyday.

But he has a brother....an elder brother to be precise.

Rahul Malhotra.

Who never gets tired of work.

Who is considered to be the best business man in the country.

Currently he is handling their family business.....Malhotra Industries.

They don't share the bond like normal brothers would do. They are like two people living in the same house that's it. His brother leads a robotic life......work, work, work and nothing else. He doesn't even know why Rahul got married if he is not ready to give his time and attention to his wife

He feels bad for her. Though he don't know much about her, he knows that she is a good person and can be a good wife too if Rahul allows her. They recently got married like 6 months back and he never saw them both together anywhere except at the breakfast table.

His idiotic brother doesn't even acknowledge her presence and ignores her all the time. Rishabh used to always tell her that his brother is workalcholic and will come around soon but later he stopped that too. He always sees hurt in her eyes and thought of doing something for his Bhabi (Sister in law).

He told his mother to knock some sense into his brother's mind but she also failed as his brother doesn't listen to anyone not even his father. Eventually his bhabi got tired of waiting for her husband and restarted her modelling career again.

Rahul didn't even bothered and recognised at what his wife is doing and where is she going. Looking at them like that he decided to never get married but his mother wants to make the same mistake again with him like she did with his brother.

He was content with his life being single and CEO of AA Industries away from his robotic brother and complaining father.

In all this he couldn't forget the girl he saw that day at the restaurant almost an year back. He wished he could see her, meet her and get to know her.

But that's just impossible!

As he doesn't know anything about her......not even her name and atleast not even her face. What he just saw was only her eyes.

His thoughts got disturbed when there was a slight knock on his door.

" Yes." He said.

" Sir, the girl whom your father selected as your personal secretary has come to join." A staff member said and left when he told to send her in.

She dropped Aman in the school and it took all her will power to leave him there and go to work. Aman started going to school just a week back and her heart ached when she saw him crying on his first day.

He couldn't live without her.

His teachers told her that they would handle and take care of him but still she couldn't leave him.

Last whole week she stayed outside the school waiting in her car until his school was over. He would come out and when he sees her, he would run towards happily at her. Seeing his smile itself makes her heart swell and she hugs him tightly showering him with kisses.

But from today she has to go work and she appointed a driver to bring Aman from school. She had instructed Aman to do his homework until she comes back from work.

She entered into the office where her father and brother used to work once. The office is large and classy. She went to the receptionist and gave her the appointment letter.

She waited and looked around to see the environment until she was called to the floor where their boss was there. She looked around and gulped when she got reminded of her father. He always wanted her to come to the office but she never thought that she would come like this in this state.

A staff member came and told her to go inside and she took a deep breath ready to start her new life. A lump formed in her throat at the bittersweet memory she had with Rishabh. She knocked on the door and went in when she heard his voice.

She looked up and saw him who was looking into his laptop.

" Good Morning Mr. Malhotra." She said and he looked up.

He heard an emotionless voice. Most of them would be nervous or scared or over-confident on their first day but he didn't sense any of it in her voice.

He looked up and saw a beautiful girl standing in front of him. He stared at her not because he couldn't take his eyes off her, it's because of her blank face.

No smile, no fear, no emotion.

There was nothing.

" Are you the one who came to join as my personal secretary?" He asked her frowning.

For a second he saw her frowning but it went away as soon as it came.

" Yes." She said firmly and handed him her appointment letter.

He looked at the letter briefly and asked for her name.

" Aadhya." She said looking at him.

" Look Ms. Aadhya, my father might have hired you but you should follow my rules and regulations. My morning coffee, my meetings, my schedules, my appointments, my lunch...... everything should be handled by you and that too perfectly. I don't want any mistakes and so be careful with what you do and how you do." He said to her sternly.

" Okay Sir." She said firmly.

He took out her file and signed on her appointment letter.

" You will be leaving at 5:30? But I will be here till 6:30....... Then who would manage the work in that one hour?" He asked her frowning looking at the appointment letter.

" I had a request with Mr. Malhotra for my work timings and he granted me permission. Don't worry Sir, I will come early and complete all the work before I leave." She said looking at him.

" Okay Ms. Aadhya, this is your first day so just see and learn how the work goes around here. If you have any problem or any doubts you can ask Mrs. Gowri, she will help you out." He said all this without looking at her.

" Okay....thank you Mr. Malhotra." She said and he looked at her.

He wondered how someone's eyes can be so empty and face so plain without any expression or makeup.

He never saw a girl without makeup......not that she needed any but her blank personality intrigues him.

" Can I leave now Sir?" She asked him looking at him who looked surprised at her.

It was the first time, a girl didn't smile or flirt with him.

She is different.

He nodded her head and she left murmuring a thank you.

He is curious now.

He looked through the glass window where he saw Ms. Anjali talking and smiling to Aadhya excitingly introducing berself but there was no reaction from Aadhya. She just said hello and listened to Anjali.

There was atleast no hint of a smile on her face.

She is just plain, blank and mysterious.

He shook his head and looked away from her.

It's not like he is interested in her or something.........he is just curious.

And curiosity killed the cat!
