Sat at a dinner room table were Doc and Murphy playing cards, "I will see your vicodin and raise you on tetracycline."

"Call,"

"3 of a kind," Doc stated, laying the kings down. Murphy smirked before laying his cards down. "Full house. Aces high." Doc frowned before smacking the table, "Man. That's five hands in a row. If you're gonna continue to use my deck you need to quit pulling cards out your ass."

"Oh boo hoo."

"Hey shh. Hold on, he's back on." Garnett scolded from the kitchen motion towards the radio. "Friends, I'm talking about mean weather coming in fast. Some reports of tornados. Find shelter and take cover. It's dangerous out there. More so than usual. Now back to the soothing sounds of the Apocalypse."

"You know after he was so wrong about that chopper weatherman's a pretty good job for that geek." Murphy remarked, making everyone shake their heads.

"You're up." Mack announced as he and Addy walked in. "All good?" Addy nodded her head, "Peaceful night."  "Your stalker said there's a storm front coming in. How is it out there?" Warren asked, leaning on the counter. "Cloudy with a chance of zombie."

"Okay, you two get some rest."

"You got it." Addy replied giddy before her and Mack went upstairs and Warren and Garnett went outside.

Ash had turned in her sleep, causing the blanket that was covering her to fall down. 10k noticed this and slowly got up and went to pull the blanket up. His arm was grabbed, followed by his own body getting flipped over. Now Ash, fully alert, was straddling him and holding a knife to his throat. "The-blanket...I was just-sorry." She slowly pulled the knife away before getting up, causing the duo at the table to exchange the same look, "Scared of that one." He muttered. "Best not to mess." Doc added. "You know if we breed those two, it'd be all over for the zombies."

"I heard that!" Ash called, walking past them towards the kitchen where Cassandra handed her a cup of coffee. "Little bit overkill don't you think?" She asked as Ash took a sip from the mug, her face twisting up in bitter disgust. "God I miss creamer. What do you mean?"

"I get that it's the apocalypse, but..." She trailed off hoping that she would catch onto what she was actually hinting at. But the girl's confused expression sitting on the counter gave her the answer. Shaking her head, "You know what never mind. I just am gunna hope it all falls into place."

"Puppies and kittens! Time to go!" Warren announced, sticking her head back into the house. Ash and Cassandra jumped off the counter and gathered their stuff. Both took the moment to chug the coffee as everyone finished gathering their stuff. "Everybody out the back!"

"In our continuing effort to bring you up to the minute information, we at Z-TV have acquired a National Weather Service satellite that they aren't using anymore. But that's not important. We now go to John Smith, southern weather correspondent to get his opinion on the 온라인카지노게임...This is the badassest storm this weatherman has ever seen. From the Gulf of Mexico right up the Mississippi Valley, trouble is brewing. I don't know if they call this thing a hurricane or a tornado or what. But if you're anywhere south of Chicago or east of the Rockies, I'm issuing a get your but in a bunker warning. Hey, I hope you guys are getting this. Addy and friends. You guys got to seek shelter immediately because this is bad. And...when you seek shelter immediately and after you do that, you need to contact me and tell me where you are. And I'll update you with further instructions. Okay? All right, well this is Citizen Z, and I'm signing off."

"So which way do we go?" Garnett turned to Warren who was walking up to him and Doc. "The storm is pushing north from the gulf. If we make it to the I-70, we can outrun it." She replied. "That storm is going faster than that craptastic truck ever will." Doc pointed out.

"Yeah, we got to get off the road. You heard Citizen Z. We got to seek shelter." Garnett agreed.

"What we need is to get the hell out of here. I ain't stopping just cuz some punk with a satellite says so." She remarked.

"Okay, hang on. Am I missing something? You did not drag my ass this far so that mankind's hope could get sucked up by a tornado, did you?" Murphy asked hanging half of his body out of the truck. "You would get hit by flying objects or get crushed by a house before you get sucked up." Ash corrected knowing that it wouldn't ease any of his worries.

After turning into Castiel Point they took a stop in front of a firehouse. "So you know this town?" Mack asked, referring to Warren, "Born and raised here." She replied before her and Garnett got out of the truck.

Ash stood up in the bed taking a look around. Seeing the deep green and gray clouds mixed with the smell of rain and the grassy dirt smell that the picking up wind blew around. She reached over and tapped 10's arm, who was standing on the roof of the truck, "What?"

"Don't you smell it?" He took a moment but shook his head, "Smell what?" He was even more confused now more than ever, "The storm." She said, causing him and Doc to exchange a look before she rolled her eyes walking off the bed. Growing up near the Gulf of Mexico was actually helpful.

"It's so green." Cassandra pointed up towards the sky. "I never seen a sky look like that. I've only seen tornadoes on TV."  "I don't like tornadoes. I'm pretty sure they don't like me either." Doc agreed with her. "I can sleep through hurricanes, but neve been through a real tornado." Ash muttered just as Warren and Garnett gathered everyone back into the truck. Driving through one of the neighborhoods as the wind started to pick up. Stopping at a nice house and having to run towards it to try and get out of the wind's field.

"That it?"

"That's it."

"10k, come on!" Addy called, causing Ash to pull a few of the hairs that were sticking to the sweat on her face. Reaching over and grabbing ahold of his collar and pulling him towards the brick wall. "I'm not letting you blow away, pretty boy."

"Come on!" Mack lashed out as he started trying to kick the front door in.

Seeing he wasn't getting anywhere now trying to use his body against the door. Pulling out a bobby pin she kept in her hair. Pushing herself in front, breaking it and starting to pick the lock. Getting the first lock pin before someone grabbed her shoulder. Looking up to see Warren holding a gold key. "Yeah, that'll probably work faster." She remarked standing up and moving out of her way.

Once inside the group starts to check the different rooms. Looking around the living room as they suddenly heard coughing. "I got this." Warren pulled her gun out. The coughing was a husband and wife duo who were looking for a place to ride out the storm and see if there was medicine for the husband. Who was sick, truly and actually sick for once. "You're gunna be okay, he's a doctor." The wife creased her husband's face.

"Uh, well they sorta just call me Doc." The white haired man stuttered out.

"No." The guy suddenly breathed out, "No doctor. I just – need a nap."

"Oh that, no that wouldn't be good, dude. Do not nap. Don't let him fall asleep. He's got a bad concussion at least." Doc quickly informed as the woman started to panic. "Rick? Rick? Help him!"

Mack and Addy come back into the living room, "Basement's clear." He stated as the two were the ones who were tasked with checking and securing the basement.

"Is he gonna be okay?" She questioned looking between the group and her husband, Rick. Warren walked up to a photo in hand. "Is this the fireman?" She could only mutter a 'what' as her full attention was fully on her sick husband. "Is this the fireman that brought you here?" She asked, crouching down. "I don't know. Maybe, he was wearing a helmet. Maybe it's him. I think it is."

"The basement is secure. We can ride it out down there. Let's just gather some supplies before it hits." Warren stated after standing to her feet. Just as both Ash and 10k come from the kitchen, "Kitchen was pretty well stocked up" He informed as Ash let out a small huff, "There's water and canned food. No medicine, no batteries."

"We need to get our communications up. You two go out in the neighborhood. See what you can find. But don't go far." Garnett told them, acknowledging both of them, "Be sure to get back before the storm hits."

The two nodded before walking towards the front door. 10k took a moment to check the surroundings before letting Ash walk out the door. Following behind her as she tucked her hair into her hood. Quickly annoyed with the wind blowing her hair about. Walking past the truck and down the road back towards the town. "Can I ask you something?" 10k said loudly trying to have her hear him over the wind.

"Huh,"

"Back there you were staring at the different photos. And you were doing the same thing at the previous house. Why?"

Her hand reached for the necklace around her neck but the cloth of her hoodie stopped her. "My, uh, my mom only put up pictures she deemed necessary to be shown. And I just wonder what other people put up." She shrugged her shoulders knowing her answer was exactly straight forward. Nor did it make complete sense. "I don't know, I, uh, I guess after a while you start to realize the insane shit your parents do."

🌁

The wind was much worse after the past hour. Random trash was flying about. No matter if it was loose papers or a whole milk crate the wind was blowing it all around. Walking between two brick buildings both their heads snapped at the sound of multiple booms of thunder."We're not gonna make it back! Take shelter!" 10k shouted.

The only shelter that they were actually able to get into fastly was a random blue car. Reaching over and grabbing his shirt collar, "Again?" He muttered following as she led them towards the car. Stopping to see the tornado barreling straight towards them.

"Shit," The two cursed, quickly climbing into the thankfully unlocked car.

"Shit, shit, shit," She kept cursing looking through the back window to see that her eyes were in fact right. A fucking tornado was coming at them, fast. Slowly turning back and letting out a shaky 'shit'. "We're gunna die." She looked down at her hands seeing that they were fully shaking and then her legs started to bounce. "We are about to die."

"Ash I think you need to calm,"

"Calm down? How the fuck am I supposed to calm down? Do you see the green tornado?!" She shouted, sounding and acting very much how Murphy would be acting right now.

He leaned back into the seat, trying to prepare for whatever was about to happen. "I don't know, just sit back." He glanced down at her hand white knuckling the center console. Reaching down and giving it a squeeze. Looking down for a moment before the wind started to shake the car brought her attention back to the window. "We are definitely gunna die."

She leaned back against the back of the seat, her body tensing every muscle. As the car started to feel more like a ride at an amusement park that made you question how it's even legal to operate. Things and even zombies getting thrown into the car was terrifying. Hearing random sounds coming from every side of the car and hoping that nothing would cause any of the windows to smash. Suddenly the car started to flip causing the two of them to start to scream. The car then started to roll a handful of times causing the windshield to crack from the pressure. Just as fast as it started, that's how fast it all just stopped. Being left in the silences of everything settling around them. The metal creaked and squeaked as it settled with the new damage it had been given.

Ash slowly opened her eyes seeing the sun was shining and a few birds were even chirping. As if nothing had just happened. "Is this heaven?"

"I don't know if this is the eye or if it's truly over?" 10k added as the two glanced over at the other unsure of what was happening. Taking a shaky breath she was the first to speak, "Only one way to find out."

Unlocking their hands slowly climbing out, once again wearing off adrenaline causing her balance to be the equivalent to a bowl of jello. Taking a look around at the once plain deserted town that was now covered in different debris from the storm. Limbs and branches scattered about the streets and roofs. A whole 10 foot limb was logged into one of the only surviving storefront display windows. She let out a laugh, turning back towards 10k who was reaching into the backseat for his gun. Laughing again as he stood up, "Holy shit, we didn't die. We didn't die!"

He chuckled, smiling because Ash's own smile was infectious. "We didn't die!"

"We didn't die!" She repeated running up and throwing her arms around his neck. He chuckled once again, hugging her back. Pulling a bit back but keeping her arms around his neck, feeling his resting on her waist. Her next act was based fully on her brain running off adrenaline and not to mention the near death experience they just had to go through. She placed the palm of her hands onto his cheeks and pulled his face against hers. Pressing their lips together for just a moment before pulling apart completely.

"Um," She stuttered looking down, taking a step away. "I don't know why–um, we should uh–" She stuttered out before giving up completely. Turning on her heel hearing him say something before he followed her as they started walking back towards the house.

🌁

"I need to go!" Murphy shouted hanging off the firetruck that by some way Ash was able to hotwire. "I'm not sure if I care for that look." Warren teased alluding to his new look. "Nobody asked you."

"New haircut. Same Murphy." Garnett added getting into the cabin part.

"See Murphy what did I tell you, you didn't get sucked up by a tornado...sadly." Ash remarked hanging off one the side ladders. His face frowned at her obviously hearing the last part that she not so kindly said. "I heard that last part."
