A/N: Hello all! I am loving the support and feed back you guys are giving me, it really motivates me to update more and faster :D This weekend I am going missing in the woods for 3 days. We'll be so far down the rabbit hole we have to bring our own water :P So no updates fri night, sat, sun or mon. BUT I will likely have either a massive chapter to update with tuesday or multiple chapters depending on how crappy the weather is where we're going. SO, you guys win either way :D

"I knew it, chicks dig a hero." West smirked as Alice hugged him.

"And then he opens his mouth...." Alice sighed, making Justine and Kim laugh. Both girls seemed to be a little flabbergasted in West's presence. Alice could understand, Westley wasn't hard on the eyes. He was Cubano with the most amazing golden yellow eyes. Add in his roguishly long, dark hair and bad ass attitude, Ace had to admit that West was dangerously drool worthy. And her own age. But as she talked to her friends and danced with West and hte boys, Alice realized that she just wasn't interested in her newest friend that way. And as much as he hinted and flirted, Alice knew he wasn't serious either. There was just no spark between them; instead it was a natural comradery.

The bell rang and Alice almost made it out when Lexi stepped into her line of view. The hostile blonde was looking at her injuries with a scowl on her face, but she stayed quiet. "What, nothing cute to say?" Alice asked, eyebrow arched.

Lexi just looked at her, lip curled in disgust. But she didn't say anything, instead spinning to walk away, her hair flinging out in all directions with the twirl. Alice frowned and looked at her friends as if they understood what had just happened. She gave a shrug and finally made it out of class. Ace now hada goal in mind and the motivation to achieve it.

"Hey, you ready to get out of here?" she asked, sticking her head into his classroom. But Malcolm wasn't waiting for her there. Alice frowned and walked to the window knowing she'd spot his Jeep in the parking lot. Her heart drooped as she saw him walking out to his car, not bothering to wait for her. He seemed pissed about something, radiating angry unhappiness as he got in and drove off.

"Son of a b****." Alice swore softly. Why had he left without her? Had something happened? He was the kind of guy to run off and play hero. She frowned but accepted the inevitable, having to walk home. She plugged the head phones in and listened to her music while she trudged through the snow. Like all Canadians, Alice had learned to watch her feet in the slush and ice, not wanting to take a tumble unless absolutely necessary. So it was with a little surprise that she looked up to find that her wayward feet had walked them outside of Malcolm's apartment building. "Wow, that's not pathetic." she muttered to herself. Alice turned around, facing away and trying to tell herself to walk home. "This is stupid Alice, he's not there." she tried to convince herself to walk away. Malcolm not waiting for her had bothered her. But they hadn't actually established that they were dating. She didn't know where she stood and how far she could push. Suddenly her confidence vanished, her shoulders slumping down. Ace was about to walk off when Malcolm tapped her on the shoulder.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, concerned. "Did you walk here?" he demanded, guiding them inside. Alice followed without even thinking about it. Now that she was here with him, Alice was lost on what to do next.

"You didn't wait for me." she blurted out, then did a literal face palm. That had been the exact thing she didn't want to say out loud. Way not to sound needy there Ace, Alice mocked herself internally.

Malcolm gave her a startled look as they got into the elevator. "I'm sorry Ace. When I looked in on you, it seemed like you were getting a ride from your friend West." they were walking towards his apartment door now, not looking at each other. It finally occured to Alice why Malcolm had left without her.

"Wait, I walked all the way here to make sure everything is ok because you left in a jealous tiff?" she asked, incredulous.

Malcolm didn't answer, just opening his door and gesturing for her to enter first. The door clicked shut and they stared at each other, both a little angry. Her bag dropped to the floor, his briefcase was set down with a click. Her jacket was folded over her bag and his was tossed onto of hte briefcase. They still stayed quiet, not quite staring each other down, but close. Finally Malcolm said what was on his mind.

"You two were looking awfully cozy in there. I couldn't help but notice how appropriate it was." Mal paused, raking his fingers through short hair. "Alice you belong with someone your own age, maybe not West, but someone good." his fingers brushed her cheek. "Someone who can hold you, give you comfort and rescue you without having to worry who might witness it." his voice was gentle.

Alice took a deep breath in, knowing the pain in her chest wasn't due to injury. "Malcolm Vega, it sounds like you want to break up with me. And we haven't even been on a date yet. Or even agreed that we were dating. Can't I get one chance before you decide it's not worth it?" she asked, sounding calm but feeling like her aching heart was about to explode out her chest.

Malcolm walked over to his couch and sat on the arm, facing Alice. "Ace, it's not that easy." he looked at her for a second, then plunged on. "What I've been needing to talk to you about for a couple of days now was an invitation. My family knows that I left Shawna and now I have an empty +1 to fill for my brother's wedding. Actually everyone was surprisingly pleased I'd left Shawna and now they are trying to set me up with any female friend they can think of." he loosened the tie and undid the top buttons of his dress shirt. "I like who I am with you. I can finally be honest and real, and not feel like a horrible person for it." as he spoke, Alice walked over to him slowly, her shoes abandoned at the door.

"So when you've seen with being all normal teen with West, you figured you'd be all noble and let me have a chance for a whirlwind romance with the Cubano Los Santos?" she asked, making Malcolm frown.

"How'd you know he was in the Los Santos gang?" Malcolm asked, not needing to clarify how he already knew.

"Tattoos on his stomach, saw them when he King Kong'd in class." Alice explained. "Malcolm, if I wanted to be the girl those gold eyes charmed, I'd be trying to get closer to him right now. But it's you I want to creep up on and make you loose your cool." she stood in front of him and smiled. "I'm very much where I want to be right now, and I'm all done with being afriad. If I'm gonig to demand that you be real and take risks for what you want, then I hold myself to that same standard." she held his face in her hands, lightly brushing her thumbs over his lips. She slowly lowers her face until they're kissing, wanting to claim his mouth.

"Close your eyes and wait a minute." she whispered against his lips, stealing another kiss. Then she walked away. Alice didn't know how it was on his end, but she knew how hard her heart pounded as she pulled her sweater off and let it drop to the floor. She took her time unbuttoning the blouse and letting it slip away. Taking a deep breath in to calm nerves and settle her back flipping stomach, Alice unbuckled her kilt and draped it over a door knob. She reached back to unhook her bra and realized she'd run out of time. Malcolm's hands held hers in place, his breath stirring her hair. She let her hands drop away as his expertly unclasped the hooks and slid the straps down her arms and fall away.

"Found you." Malcolm's voice was low and huskey. "Do you know what you're doing?" he had to ask.

She pulled one of his hands around to rest over her heart, knowing it would be easy to pick out the rapid beating. "Do you want me to be your +1 at the wedding?" she asked instead of answering.

She could almost feel Malcolm try to switch gears back to thinking. "Yes, I want you there. I want to introduce my family to my new grilfriend." he nodded and Alice smiled.

"So we'll figure it out." she turned in his arms to face him. "Mal, I'm not asking for guarantees. I just want to live without being afraid. Like I told you, gotta feed the beast a little."

{A/N: If you hadn't figured it out yet, steamy scene coming up. If you are too young/innocent/virginal/other to read that kind of thing, then PLEASE skip past this part. I DO NOT want to be scolded for writing this scene but I find that I A) enjoy writing these scenes and B) am rather good at it. So ENJOY!}

Malcolm's hands rested on the small of her back, offering her almost nude body his warmth. "You're stronger than I could believe possible for what you've been through." he confessed, a small smile on his lips. "But I am afraid I might hurt you."

Alice grinned at him, rising on her tip toes, using her hands on his chest for balance. "Malcolm, who ever said I was gonig to let you take the lead?" she whispered into his ear. And like that night at the club, carefully bit his earlobe. His hands scrambled against her back a little, then slipped down to her thighs and hoisted her up. Ace wrapped her legs around his hips, trusting him to hold her up. She slid her hands up his chest and nimble fingers undid the rest of the buttons as he walked them over to the bed.

He set her down next to the dark sheets and paused to roll her knee highs down so she could slide them off her feet. It wasn't a sexual act but every tug on her socks made something low in her stomach clench, a growing urgency building between them. Socks discarded, Alice pulled the dress shirt off of him and enjoyed sight of muscles bunching as he pulled his undershirt off, revealing the delicious abs the buisness clothes disguised. While he was still kneeling down, Malcolm wrapped his arms around her hips and hugged her, face resting against her chest. His fingers massaged into the back of her thighs and Alice let out a shakey gasp. If it felt this good to just touch and hold him, Alice was anticipating how much better it would feel to be with him in bed. Malcolm kissed her still bruised stomach and got back to his feet, delicately claiming her lips while his fingers brushed her hair away.

Ace's fingers shook as she unbuckled his novelty belt and let the dress slacks pile to the floor around his feet. This was as far as they had gotten before, but this time neither one felt like backing away. Malcolm was more than happy to let Alice pushing him down onto the bed, and he scooted back so she'd have room. She crawled over to him, lips kissing his cheek, his neck, down to his chest and teasing along his stomach. When she revered her trajectory and made her way back up, Malcolm finally lost hesitation and sunk a hand into her hair, pulling Alice's lips to his and burning the memory of his lips into her brain. The last layers of clothing fell away and Alice showed him just how far she was willing to go.

{A/N: Safe to read again. Question, would you guys like me to do a more adult rated version of this chapter? I'll make it a stand alone chapter, and it won't have anything you'd miss reading, other than a lot more salacious details. Yes, I seem to enjoy writing smutty, smutty chapters :D}

Seeing Malcolm at school the next morning was both highly amusing and rather challenging because now Alice had to fight to keep the blush from creeping up her cheeks. He seemed no better off, and Ace sincerely hoped no one else noticed how he seemed to watch her with a dark fire in his eyes. She had very much enjoyed the night before, but now that she wasn't being inundated with ecstacy, her still injured body let her know that it wanted just a little more time before the next round of bedroom gymnastics occured. She hurt, mostly in a good way, though her face throbbed painfully when she blushed.

Flashes of memory from last night kept Alice pretty much distracted throughout her morning classes, and she would have been embarassed to know that a dreamy smile stayed on her face the entire time. Kim snapped her fingers infront of Alice's face, drawing her attention back to the lunch table.

"Oh man girl, you've got it bad." Kim laughed.

"What?" Alice asked, alarmed.

"Either you're in love or you got laid. No other reason explains that smile on your face." Justine piped up and unfortunately Alice felt her face flame up.

"Oh my god, you so totally got laid last night didn't you?" Sammy piped in, speaking a little too loud.

"Tell it to everyone why don't you?" Alice hissed at her friend, horrified that other students were looking over at Sam's outburst.

"I'm sorry." Sammy wilted, looking contrite.

"So who's lover boy, anyone we know?" Theresa asked.

"Are you sure you should be doing that considering...?" Butch asked, frowning in worry.

Alice hid her face in her face, pain flashing to remind her to be gentle still. "Guys.... really not the time and place to get into this." her voice was muffled but audible.

"Oh was it DJ...." Kim started but then clamped her mouth shut over the rest, an apologetic look on her face for almost blurting it out.

"DJ, your boyfriend's name is DJ?" Butch asked, looking confused. There weren't any students Ace could think of named that so she shrugged.

"Not exactly..." she trailed off, not wanting to lie to her friends, but knowing she had to.

"I'm sorry Alice. Her boyfriend's DJ Mask." Kim blurted out in a hushed whisper.

"Kim!" Alice hissed as her friends erupted into shocked questions and comments all at once. This was just great. "Guys, enough. I am not discussing it here where other people can listen in. If you really want to know we can talk about it sometime outside of this gossip mill, alright?" she pleaded. THe others reluctantly agreed and now Ace was wondering just what it was she was gonig to tell them. They'd been so cool about her hi온라인카지노게임, but this was a different matter entirely. Malcolm was a teacher, seven years older and could get fired for this.

"I'm sorry." Kim apologized again as they walked to the performance hall.

"It's alright. Just... forget about it for now. We've got a lot of work to do." Alice waved it away.

Now that the dance class was broken up into their roles for the Gala, Alice barely had to interact with Lexi at all. That didn't stop the beautiful blonde from glaring daggers at Alice, nor making brief, snide insults at her when they passed by, but she no longer aggressively confronted Ace. Instead the volatile queen bee started to harass Alice's friends. Namely Sammy.

"Jesus you fat slob, can't you do anything right?" Lexi's girly voice was shrill as she hurtled insults at the self conscious and shy Sam.

"What is your problem, not getting enough fibre in your diet to move the big stick out of your a**?" West asked Lexi before Alice could intervene. Ace's eyebrows climbed up in surprise, startled to see one of the more popular male students defy the most popular female student.

Lexi sputtered at West's implied insult. Before she could really form a comeback though, one of West's friends piped up. "That or you need to change the batteries in your..." he trailed off, hand gesture suggesting a specific female pleasure toy. The guys laughed and high fived, turning their backs on Lexi to go back to their own covnersation.

The murderous glare Lexi shot at Alice was full of renewed hatred. Alice just shrugged and spread her hands with a 'bring it on' look to her face. Working with Lexi on their dance routines after this was gonig to be pure hell. But Ace was feeling a little more confident in her ability to meet it head on.
