         I got home, went straight to my room, and collapsed on my bed, completely lost in thought. Without even thinking, I grabbed my phone and texted Zoe to tell her about everything that happened earlier. She felt bad for me, but her replies were slow, probably because she was busy taking care of her sick mom, so I eventually stopped texting her.

         "Lily, wake up! We have a new neighbor!" Max yelled, shoving me off the bed. I hit the floor hard. "What? It's late!" I snapped, still tangled in my sheets. "It's only three in the morning. Come see the new neighbors!" Max insisted."Fine," I grumbled. Max dragged me downstairs. I thought he was just being annoying, but I went along, hoping he'd leave me alone. To my surprise, the new neighbors seemed nice. I stood on the lawn, watching them unpack.If you're wondering if I waved, I didn't. I just stood there, moody and bored.
     
                 "Okay, let's help our new neighbors. Be nice and friendly," Dad said, rallying us like a coach. "Yeah, be kind," Mom added. "Got it?" Dad asked. "Yeah," we all shouted. "Good," Dad said happily.We helped them move in. Dad lifted heavy stuff, Mom carried boxes, Kelly helped their sister, and Max helped their brother. I was left alone until a boy, probably their son, said, "Wow, you guys are helpful." I chuckled, "Trust me, my family isn't usually like this. They're rude and horrible." He laughed,

            "Sounds like my family. My dad said the same thing to us in the car."He tossed me a volleyball, but I missed. "Sorry," I said shyly. "No worries, it's just a fresh try," he smiled, his dimples making me blush. "Ready?" he asked. "Ready for what?" I replied, confused. "Are you kidding?" he laughed, moving back to show the ball. "Oh, sorry, I was lost in thought," I said, feeling shy. "What were you thinking about?" he asked, curious. "It's a long 온라인카지노게임. Promise you won't tell anyone?" I asked. "You have my word," he said, hand on his chest like a pledge. I told him everything that happened in the past month. We talked all afternoon while helping them."Come on, it's dinner time," Mom called, carrying Max. "Time to go," Dad added. "Well, I guess this is goodbye," he said. "Yeah, bye," I said, walking away and waving. "Wait, I didn't get your name," he called. "It's Lily. What's yours?" I asked as Kelly pulled me inside and slammed the door.

            "That was fun, right?" Dad asked. "Yeah," we all shouted. "Good to hear," Dad said. "Dad, Rocky has a PS5! Can I play tomorrow?" Max asked. "Sure, but be back by two," Dad said. "Thanks, Dad!" Max ran to my room to call Rocky. "Get out of my room, Max!" I yelled. "Please?" Max begged. "Fine," I sighed, and he left."So, Kelly, anything interesting?" Dad asked. "Yeah, it was fun. She has a rare poster of ChristopherValentino, the greatest musician of all time"Kelly said while putting down her phone, then she put it back up to answer her unread messages. "Oh, wow, that's amazing!!," dad said." No, dad, it is to die for, not just 'amazing", Kelly added. "Oh , sorry, I mean, that's 'to die for',"  dad corrected.

              "Okay , so what of you, Lilly, what was so amazing about your day," dad asked. "Well , nothing much, really, me and, oh," I stuttered Kelly interrupts immediately saying "OMG, Lil, don't tell me you don't know the name of the person you were talking to all afternoon," Kelly asked, sounding both sarcastic and shocked. "Well, no, I don't know his name, cuz we were so busy talking, okay", I responded,"  okay, whatever, I don't have time for this, gotta go". Kelly answered as she stood up and was about to leave, but was called back by dad." Excuse me, young lady, but may I ask where do you think you're going?" "  Brandon just texted that I should meet him at the supermarket, so I gotta go", Kelly answered while opening the front door. "Wait, did you say Brandon? I thought he's at Los Angeles, how did he get here?" Dad asked curiously, which turned into anger, and this made him to stand up from his chair. "Um, yeah, he came here and wanted to -" , before Kelly could finish her statement, she was rudely interrupted by dad, "no!, the answer is no!!, we have told you to stay away from that boy, he isn't good for you, now shut that door and come sit," dad said angrily, "but  please, what if he needs me or he's in trouble, please dad", Kelly pleaded, "look , look Kelly, no, please come sit down", dad answered, "no!!, look, I wanna go, okay, Brandon loves me and his probably in trouble right now, and -" Kelly was interrupted again, but this time by mom, who has been in the kitchen cooking the whole time," no, don't you dare say that piece of thing loves you, he made you to go to jail for crying out loud, why would you ever think that ,that boy is good for you, huh? You do so much for him, that you forget yourself in the process, and the worst part about all of this, is that at last, he won't repay you or remember you when he finally gets the so-called money," mom bursted of anger doing air quotes on 'money', boiling in rage, "yeah, you know what, I don't care what you all say.Brandon loves me, and that's all that matters. I don't care about the rest. Please, now I need to go." Kelly screamed at mom, Hey! You don't talk to your mom that way. Dad shouted, "Oh please, like I care." Kelly added, Okay, I think that's enough. We have heard enough from you. Go up to your room, young lady. You are grounded." Dad said angrily while pointing towards the stairs. Kelly banged the door and ran upstairs. "Huh!!"She scoffed while running upstairs.
   
             That night was just like all the other nights back in Los Angeles. I was not really...Well, it was not really funny, not at all. And because of that, I didn't get a chance to even say anything that occurred earlier that day. We ate and everyone went to bed.
