Forget 💔 and Love ❤️

Aadhya was nervous.

She has visited this house once but now she is visiting as Shanvi Arora.

She sat in the living room waiting and looking around. She saw someone who dressed like a model has stopped looking at her and she stood up.

" Hi, You are?" She asked smiling.

" Hi, I came to meet Uncle..... I mean Mr.Malhotra." She said trying to smile a little.

" Did anyone inform him about your arrival?" She asked politely.

" Yes." She replied.

" Ok....please sit. I should go now, I am getting late for the shoot....." She was cut off.

" Shaanvi?"

They heard and looked up to see Mr. Shiv Malhotra rushing towards Aadhya with a wide grin on his face.

" Hi Uncle." She said smiling at him.

" You didn't leave!!!" He said and hugged her.

" No Uncle. I wasn't able to leave." She said looking down.

" Good because I couldn't have tolerated your departure." He said with tears in his eyes.

" Uncle please.....I am here now, so cheer up." She said trying to lighten him up and he turned to see his daughter in law standing there shocked.

" Oh! By the way she is Priya, daughter in law of this house.....Rahul's wife and Priya beti this is Shaanvi." He introduced.

Priya still stood shocked at the interaction between them.

" Hi." Aadhya said smiling a little and Priya smiled back.

" So what stopped you.....no rather who stopped you from going?" He asked smirking at her.

" No one." She said turning away.

" Do you think I don't know how much my son effects you?" He asked raising his brows.

" How do you know?" She asked him gasping.

" I am smart like that unlike you two."
He said teasingly.

" Uncle! Stop teasing me now!" She asked whining and he laughed loudly at her red face.

Priya was astonished to see the whole new side of her father in law. He is nice and warm person but she didn't know that he can be so jovial and talkative person.

" Does that idiot know that you have stopped because of him?" He asked making her sigh.

" No. I mean he knows that I didn't go but he doesn't know that it's because of him." She pouted.

" How smart." He muttered under his breath making her laugh.

" I came here to check on you. How are you feeling now Uncle?" She asked concerned.

" Until you both are in front of me, I will be fine." He said and she hugged him.

He kissed her forehead and they both continued to talk forgetting about their surroundings. Priya smiled at their bond and went to her shoot to which she was already late.

But it was worth it.

Rishabh was sitting in his cabin and working but his thoughts were roaming around Aadhya.

She didn't leave.

And that made him happy immensely.

For whatever reason, she stayed and that's enough for him.

But he can't ignore the feeling he got when he thought she had left. It was unbearable pain he felt and that moment he understood that he can't even breathe without her presence in his life.

It stung him when she didn't respond to his confession or atleast acknowledged it but he tried to tell himself that this is Aadhya and her view of seeing things is different.

But what bothers him more is that whether she feels anything for him or not. He should act wisely as he knows now how much she matters to him and he doesn't want to lose her.

He will be careful around her and will not let her leave again.

Aadhya on the other side was confused with Rishabh's behaviour. He talks, plays and laughs with Aman as usual but she observed that he was being cautious around her.

He is not teasing, smirking and joking around her like before.

She knows that she was not the easy person to deal with but she thought he knows her and her feelings.

She shrugged off his thoughts and decided to concentrate on Aman. His school will be starting from next week and she has lot of work to be done.

She went to the office and saw Rishabh immersed himself in work so much that he didn't even noticed that she came.

She was reluctant to come to the office but came because she knows how much this deal means to him and so she thought of helping him a little. She sat in her father's cabin and started to work.

She can't help but think about the past.

How much time has changed?

Last year at this time she was mourning over her family's demise but today she is sitting in her father cabin and working.

Tomorrow is her father's birthday and sitting here in his cabin is not helping. She now thinks that it was a bad idea to come to the office.

She leant her head backwards and closed her eyes. A trail of memories hit her and sorrow tears escaped from her eyes. She didn't open her eyes and she didn't wiped her tears too.

She didn't cry after the incident in the graveyard that day when she realised that she have to stay here but it is not called heart break if it goes away so easily.

A sudden knock on the door made her to quickly wipe her tears and asked them to come inside.

Rishabh's manager came inside to show her some files and she told him that she will do them later.

She can't work like this properly.

It's already lunch time so she thought of going home and packed her things. She took some files with her and thought of informing Rishabh before going.

She walked towards his cabin and knocked on his door but didn't get any response. She frowned and opened the door to see if he is there or not. She stopped at the door when she heard voices from inside.

She was reluctant to go inside as she heard some laughs.

Rishabh was laughing loudly and along with him came another laugh which belongs to a girl.

" Oh! I missed you so much." She heard Rishabh say.

" Awe.....I missed you too Rishi." She heard that girl's sweet voice.

" But I should be angry that you left without saying anything to me" Rishabh said with hurt.

" I am sorry Rishi, situation was like that.....but now I came back, we will spend our time together." She heard that girl say.

" Nah.....I will not forgive you so easily." She heard Rishabh say.

" Please Rishi.....I will treat you lunch at our favourite place."

Aadhya couldn't hear anymore and when she turned, she heard Rishabh's excitement of going to their favourite hangout place.

She felt like an outsider intruding their personal lives and she left from there sadly with a shattered heart. She knows she shouldn't judge about their relationship and about what she heard but she can't help but to feel that she will lose him.

There was a pang in her heart filled with anxiousness and sadness.

They seemed pretty close and this girl seems to be a very important part of his life.

She never felt like this not even when he was with Neetha. This extreme jealousy and possessiveness took over her and she was scared that she might do something she might regret later.

So she just left from there to be alone to control her emotions.

She gave some files to Rishabh's manager to give them to Rishabh which were signed by her and left the office.

She need to calm down and deal this matter in a matured way.

She doesn't want to think about Rishabh now and thought about tomorrow.

Her father.

Her Superhero.

" I miss you Papa."

She whispered while crying.

" Please give me some strength." She asked.

As soon as she reached home, she collapsed on bed and curled herself like a ball.

She is feeling extremely vulnerable at this moment and she needs someone to comfort her but she will not let anyone in and show her vulnerability.

She need to calm down before Aman comes back from mall with Harish.

Rishabh on the other side was obvious with the situation as he doesn't even know that Aadhya was in the office today.

He came back from lunch and his manager came inside bringing the files.

" Sir, these are the files Maam told to give you." He said forwarding the files to him.

" Maam?" Rishabh asked confused.

" Yes Sir, Shaanvi Maam." He replied.

" What? She came to the office?" He asked stunned.

" Yes Sir." He replied.

" Wait, I will talk to her." He said getting up from his seat.

" No Sir, she is not here now." He said.

" What?" Rishabh asked.

" She was here until lunch. She was about to give the files to you herself but again she gave them to me saying that she doesn't want to disturb you and left suddenly, she seemed disturbed too." His manager explained.

Rishabh frowned thinking what must have happened to her.

Is she alright?

What was he doing before lunch?

He thought and it clicked him that he was with Swathi in his cabin and maybe that's why he didn't know that she was in the office as he was busy talking to his long lost friend.

He felt bad that he couldn't meet her.

Nowadays he wasn't meeting her as often as before and even though they meet it would be just because of work.

He would meet Aman but it would be just for sometime and he is missing them.

He checked the files signed by her and proceeded to do his work.

Next day he called her but she didn't pick his call.

He went to the office a little late as he had some work and saw that no one was present in their seats. He frowned and went to the conference room where everyone stood quietly.

He then saw that one by one were offering flowers to some photo. He went inside and saw that it was Aadhya's father for whom they were offering prayers.

" What is happening here?" He asked softly.

" Sir, today it's our late boss's birthday. We used to celebrate every year today but since he was no more now, we thought of offering him our prayers." A staff member told him.

Rishabh nodded and gulped the lump formed in his throat.

Aadhya.

His only thought was her.

How is she?

How she is handling today's day?

He must meet her.

She needs him.

With one swift motion, he ran out of the office and sped his car towards her house. When he reached there, Harish was already outside cleaning the car.

" Sir, Baby ji went to the graveyard." Harish said to him sadly.

" And Aman?" Rishabh asked.

" He is inside with Shanthi ji." Harish replied.

Rishabh nodded and quickly drove towards the graveyard.

He knows she is a strong girl but he wants to be there for her.

He reached graveyard and saw her outside standing there but she wasn't alone. He got down the car and looked at them.

There was a guy whom she was hugging and that guy held her caressing her hair.

Something snapped inside him.

He should be the one with her.

He should be the one who can hug her like that.

He should be the one who can caress her hair like that.

He should be the one who consoles her like that.

He can feel that this guy is so close to her otherwise she wouldn't even let him touch her.

He has a effect on her as he saw her smiling looking at him with affection.

Rishabh clenched his jaw tightly as he had confessed his love for her but she didn't even respond to it and now his blood is boiling seeing her in someone else's arms.

He wanted to punch something very hard and fisted his hands angrily. He controlled himself closing his eyes as he doesn't want to act impulsively.

Although he was scared that what he had to listen or what he had to see, he can't help but take steps towards them.

And only God knows the consequences.
