Draco nodded, but didn't say anything. That part of him was broken, and no one could put him together again.
Blaise stepped closer and slowly wrapped his arms around him. "I'll be alright, Draco. I just... I just need you to get better. Damn it... it just fucking kills me to see you like this. I want you back."
"There's no back, Blaise," Draco whispered. It was that weak part of him that believed that. He thought that he was beyond repair, like Theo. They permanently maimed his soul when they violated his body. He couldn't even retreat into his mind anymore.
"I-I don't b-believe that," Blaise whispered, not exactly inspiring confidence. "I can't believe that. You brought me back, Draco. You saved me."
He looked up at him, tears starting to form, and nodded. "You're stronger than I. You always were. I don't know how you kept going after all these years."
"I didn't have a choice, Draco, and I didn't exactly choose a safe and healthy way to handle it, either. I don't want you to become lost and... trapped. Please don't blame yourself for what I did yesterday. It was only a small price of my pride I had to pay to get you to open up. The healer knows how to help you. Trust her, and if you can't trust her, trust me. She will help you get stronger."
Draco frowned and nodded, still not entirely convinced.
"Alright... I got class to teach," Blaise said, nodding to the door.
"Umm... we got practice," Draco reminded him.
"Fuck. I forgot. Alright, let's go. I'll summon my broom," he grunted.
"Will you be at dinner, too?" he asked, staring into Blaise's eyes. Glamours can't hide everything. His Occlumency might be weak, now, but he knew some Legilimency, too.
"Yes, okay? I promise," Blaise said and stared at him.
Draco could feel his unease, but they were a little better at least. "Okay, Blaise. Thank you. Ready?"
"Yeah, unless Hermione forgot, too," Blaise joked.
"Yeah, right. Does Hermione forget anything? I don't know why she even bothers to take notes," Draco scoffed and Blaise laughed.
They walked out, where Neville, Hermione, Harry, Theo and Daphne were waiting.
"Is everything alright?" Theo asked.
"Yeah, sorry I made you worry. I just wanted some space. Still okay to do my class for me, Hermione?"
"Yeah, go have fun. Score some goals!" she said, faking some zeal.
"Thanks," Blaise said, and they walked outside. Neville was next to Blaise, and they talked in low whispers.
Theo leaned into Draco's ear. "Is he okay?"
Draco just nodded, but that was a lie. "He said that he'd go to dinner, too."
Theo didn't ask anything else as they walked down. They summoned their gear when they walked outside.
Ginny was tapping her foot impatiently when they got there. "Took you guys long enough! Here are our plays we are going to focus on this weekend!" She conjured a chalkboard with moving chalk figures illustrating their moves. Draco followed along, though it wasn't necessary. As seeker, his job was two-fold: don't get hit and find the snitch. Chaser and beater plays were a bit of unnecessary information. But he watched as Ginny walked them through each scenario. Blaise was having problems staying awake, and Ginny called him out on it more than once.
"Now remember, throw and switch to right, Blaise. Don't just hang into that one side. It's less of a drastic turn, and you'll be able to hold your speed better. If you throw to left hoop, just loop it around to get to your side. You can build speed on the curve and launch out of it. Just stay on the right when you defend!"
