Harry shook his head. He didn't need Draco to worry. "No, we'll be quick. Don't let her keep me here, though. I need to get back."
"Okay. I'll stun her if I have to," Ron said, with some glee.
Harry gave him a look.
"I'm joking. Draco will come to you, if it comes down to it."
Harry nodded. "It's weird hearing you call him Draco."
"I got used to it. He's a decent bloke, once you get past the pointy face and snarky comments."
Harry gave Ron a smile. "I love him, Ron."
"I know. I know, Harry. You guys are great together... great for each other. Merlin... he's pretty messed up isn't he?"
"Yeah... we're working on it. Slowly."
"I'll help. In any way that I can, Harry," Ron promised.
"Well... it used to be just making sure people didn't hurt him, but they all got kicked out, other than the leader. You don't have any inkling on who he is?"
Ron shook his head. "No. He was short. I mean... I think it was a he. That Voice Potion... it could have been a girl. He or she was content to let Tracey interrogate me. I couldn't get a fix on who they were."
"Sucks," Harry grunted.
"We might have been able to pry the name out of Zach, but I don't think it's going to be possible, now."
Harry looked up. "You think he would have told us?"
"I don't know, but I don't picture pushing him anytime soon," Ron said, quietly.
"So, I bollocksed that up, too? Man, I'm such a sodding fuck-up," Harry muttered, despondently.
"You are not. It just seems that way. You saved the world already, Harry, and your boyfriend."
"But I left you to fend for yourself!"
"You had problems, too, Harry. You needed help, like I did. I don't blame you. I mean... now," Ron whispered awkwardly.
"Yeah... now. I was drunk all summer. An alcoholic drunk."
"Everyone copes in a different way, Harry."
"And my way was to drink every day and night," he admitted, fighting the urge to break down crying, again.
"Better than me, I just gave up."
Harry froze and looked at Ron. "I...."
"I didn't mean..." he sighed. "We went through a lot. I don't mean that I had it worse. You gave up in a different way. My mum cried a lot, dad worked, George shut down, Ginny trained and I gave up. Our friends handled it differently, too."
Harry nodded, but he wasn't sure he felt better. When Ron pulled into the infirmary, he was still crying a little, unable to keep it back. Madam Pomfrey was appalled when she saw them.
"Have you two been fighting!?" she hissed.
"No... umm... not exactly," Ron said.
"I hit Ron, cause... I was mad, but he didn't hit me," Harry muttered, wiping his tears away.
Madam Pomfrey looked at him, critically. "But your nose is broken."
"Someone else did it. Could you heal it?"
"Both of you sit down," she ordered and set to work checking their injuries.
She checked Ron first, healing his bruises with a salve. Hermione had fixed Ron's broken nose, earlier and she said that his ribs were only cracked. She healed them in a jiffy, then turned to Harry. He had broken a bone in his hand, too, from hitting Ron so hard. She mended that and his nose. But Harry didn't let her heal his black eye. He wanted the reminder.
