"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Nothing means a lot coming from you, Harry," she said. "But I'm glad you came here. It shows a lot of courage to do it, instead of fighting everything on your own."
"Yeah... courageous," Harry sulked. Last time he checked, failing wasn't a sign of success.
"Harry," Draco whispered and Harry turned to him. "You're always telling me that I can ask for help, does that make me weak?"
Harry's eyes widened. "No! I don't think that!"
"Then stop playing the role of all-suffering hero. You don't have to face the world alone, anymore. You have me and I'll help you through this, like you help me through my struggles. You don't have to be invincible, Harry."
"Sorry."
"You don't have to be sorry about anything," Draco said, and Harry gave him a small smile.
Madam Pomfrey had a big grin on her face as she put the potion away. She had been waiting for him to give in for a long time, now. He grimaced, but he caught Draco glaring at him knowingly. There were so many emotions going through him that he didn't know what was up. Madam Pomfrey came back out and started on about the potions that she was recommending. Harry toned out all of it. He didn't want to take them, he didn't want to talk about them and he sure as hell didn't want to think about how they made him feel.
"Harry? Harry! Are you even listening?" she asked, irritated.
He finally looked at her. He had been zoning out a lot more during conversations lately. He literally hadn't heard a word she had said. Her eyes softened though as he looked at her.
"Why don't you head on to your appointment? You're going to be late, if you don't hurry."
Harry dropped his head. "Can't I stay here, please? You're helping me."
She hesitated and placed her hands on her hips. "Are you here for help or do you just want to skip your therapy session?"
He grimaced. "Please? I just can't anymore. It's... too much."
"She can help you, Harry. That's why she is here."
"I don't trust her. I trust you though."
"Do you?" she said, a little surprised.
"Well, you've seen me when I'm at my worst and healed me more times then I can count. You've never told anyone anything."
"Your issue is that she might find some way to break confidentiality?" she asked, a little stunned.
"Well... I don't really want to talk about it, either."
Madam Pomfrey brought his face up gently with her hand. "This time and only this time, you can stay. You'll have the weekend to recover and you better be in her office Monday morning."
Harry gave her a smile and nodded.
"But you will have to pay attention. What I'm telling you is important and could help you."
"Okay, I will," Harry easily agreed and looked at her.
"These potions... aren't really for one-time use, like a Calming Draught. If you were to take it regularly, your body will quickly... adapt... develop a higher and higher tolerance to it to the point where it becomes ineffective."
"Like alcohol," Harry whispered.
"Yes, actually. But these potions won't do it that as much, but in order for them to properly work, you need to take them consistently. This once or twice a week thing you've been doing isn't going to help you heal. Consistent, daily treatment will help stabilize your emotions."
