"Carmen. Dean." Sam said, shaking the two, currently sharing the one bed.
"What are you doing man, it's the middle of the night?" Dean asked as the two groaned awake.
"We have to go,"
"We have to go back to sleep," She protested putting the pillow on top of her head. "We have to go," He repeated, putting more urgency in his voice. "Ugh, fine." She sat up rubbing her tight eyes that were fighting to stay open. "Just tell me we have coffee."
"We'll get some on the way. We have to go, right now." Sam grabbed his bag and walked out the door.Carmen looked over to her older brother, who simply shook his head. She looked down, tossing the blanket to the side. Grabbing her jacket and throwing it on before putting her shoes on. Option for just to change in either the back seat or a bathroom at a gas station that was usually in the middle of nowhere.
Carmen was now sitting in the back seat, her eyes watering from yawning so much. Dean was driving, glancing over to the passenger seat every so often. Sam was there on his phone reading out one of his Michigan State ID, "McReady. Detective McReady. Badge number 158. I've got a signal 480 in progress, I need the registered owner of a two door sedan, Michigan license plate Mary-Frank-six-zero-three-seven. Yeah ok, just hurry."
"Sammy, relax. I'm sure it's just a nightmare."
"Yeah, tell me about it."
"Dean is right. You know it's probably just the normal wake up in a cold sweat type of nightmare. This license plate won't check out, and it'll all level itself out." Carmen explained after she yawned widely, having to whip the corner of her eyes.
"It felt different. Real. Like when I dreamt about our old house, and Jessica."
"Yeah, that makes sense," Dean admitted, tapping his thumb on the steering wheel. "You're dreaming about our house, your girlfriend. This guy in your dream, you ever seen him before?"
"No."
"No. Exactly. Why would you have premonitions about some random dude in Michigan." Dean added agreeing with the strangeness of his brother's dreams. "I don't know." He replied as he let out a heavy breath leaning his head onto the side of the Impala before picking it right back up. "Yes I'm here." He spoke on the other end of his flip phone. He glanced to the back seat at his sister and then at Dean before picking up a pen, "Jim Miller. Saginaw, Michigan. You have a street address?...Got it. Thanks." He hung up the phone before looking down at the black ink on his palm. "Checks out." He stated with another sigh before looking at Dean, "How far are we?"
