A lot of these obstacles Juli didn’t attempt or feel comfortable trying, but when we could we jogged along to the next one, though the constant mud, uneven terrain and random branches everywhere made sure that this was no easy task. One guy running in just these tight little shorts took a spill in the mud, got covered and promptly looked like he was running around naked. It was amusing to say the least! I enjoyed the chance to be running in the shade of the trees, already knowing that even with sunscreen, I would be ending my day with a sun burn. Hidden amongst the trees was obstacle #7 Spider’s Web: Crawl like a spider up and over a cargo net suspended between two trees. As stated above, I am a natural climber, so I scaled up and over in record time, making a few of the guys and girls who looked more fit than me stop and stare. Then I pitched in to help out by hanging onto the bottom of the cargo net, holding it tight for others to climb up with more ease. Someone replaced me, I met up with Juli again and we were off once more.
