I remember how seeing the shape of your mouth that first time, I kept staring until my blood turned to rain. Some things take root in the brain and just don't let go.
Wednesday.

SIXTEEN. half daughter, half apology, all fire and the wrong kind of love
Andy wasn't exactly nervous about her family showing up today for Parents' Weekend, she was more or so not ready for everyone's reaction to them showing up. Having the entire Addams' family together in one place was basically a newspaper headline that read Family of Freaks Reunite. She missed them, especially her dad, but Andy didn't want another reason for people to stare at her all day.
Since what happened to Eugene, Andy had been on edge about the monster. She kept thinking about the visions and what they could mean, and why her and Wednesday were somehow connected through the visions.
Kennedy was up so early that Andy was certain she hadn't slept at all. When she woke up, the girl was staring at the ceiling with her face as white as a ghost. She didn't speak at all, which was unlike her. She blasted Metallica through her headphones while they studied in the library. Andy finally gathered the courage to ask her what was wrong when they were seated in the quad, and Kennedy revealed that she wasn't excited for Parents' Weekend because of the situation with her mother.
"I mean, of course I'm excited to see my grandma again, but, none of it means anything if I don't have my parents here, ya know?" Kennedy rambled while munching on a bagel.
"You can always spent the day with me and my family," Andy offered.
"It's tempting, believe me. But I really do miss my halmeoni. I'm ready to spend the day with her."
"That's good," she said with a nod. "At least you have something to look forward to today."
Kennedy scoffed. "You act like your whole family won't be here, Tim Burton."
"Trust me, Kennedy. That's not a good thing."
Andy's never been vocal to anyone about her relationship with her family. She never voice her feelings about them to anyone either, not even to herself. Their relationship was complicated, especially the one between her and her mother. It always had been since she was a kid. Since Andy was born, she had a feeling that Morticia preferred Wednesday over her. It was evident. They were more alike than she and Morticia would ever be. They both had a violent nature. Their hearts were both cold. They were stubborn. Morticia loved all of those aspects about her daughter, and Andy wasn't anything like her sister.
The bond between a mother and child is best described to be unbreakable. Two people linked forever. But for Andy and Morticia, they were both broken into many different parts.
The parents arrived later that morning. Andy wasn't sure where Wednesday was at, but she assumed she was hiding. She wasn't thrilled about today either, but for different reasons. None of the girls were particularly thrilled about seeing their family members again, especially Enid, who explained in grave detail to the Addams sisters about her complicated relationship with her family about her not being able to wolf out.
