Climbing the exposed rebars of a toppled wall, the figure made it to a second 온라인카지노게임 and peered out at what had caused the rukkus. Where there used to be the remaints of a warehouse, now rested a strange looking ship. It wasn't the same as the half remembered ship of childhood, but instead something foriegn, something alien. And harsh lessons had taught that alien was dangerous, so the figure drew their weapon, ready incase their curiosity proved fatal.
The weapon was a blade of sorts, a long, serrated blade made of a black, chitinous material. It didn't reflect light, but it was sharp enough to perform surgery with. The figure waited for the dust to settle, and to see if anything survived the crash to crawl out of the ship. Tense moments passed and nothing emerged until finally there was movment spotted. Two figured stumbled out of the crashed ship, both large and multi-limbed, wearing a strange form of armour. They each carried a long spear like weapon and bore small packs that would likely carry their supplies. Both seemed dazed and uninjured, searching around them in fearless curiosity.
The watching figure was about to move down and intercept them, when the familiar and dreaded clicking started to echo. Another one of those creatures was making its way towards the commotion of the crash. They were as good as dead. But with a jerk of the head, the witness hear a different sound, an chirruping accompanies the clicks, the only sound indicating that the creature approaching wasn't the same as the one before. The two aliens below heard the sounds and positioned themselves in a defensive formation, forgoing the exposure of remaining near their ship and instead using the rubble as concealment.
What swarmed out into the crash site was a darker coloured creature, an olive green with streaks of ivory and white to it's exterior. It wasn't as large as the last creature, instead this was closer to the size of the Pantharni, standing almost eight feet to their near seven. It also wasn't an identical shape to the last one, noth had the large dome head/body configuration, but this one had a shorter multi-legged tail secion and feelers extending out the front. It whistled and chirruped as it came over to the crashed ship and started to investigate it with the feelers.
Tokala regarded the strange being with a still caution, seeing an abhorrent mix of sea creature and parasite in the design of the carapiece. It would be hard to penetrate that dome and resist damage, with the strange bone line tail section guarding the legs, the creature would be devilishly difficult to disable if it attacked. He indicated to his student to remain concealed and allow it to move on unmolested. Nahuel nodded his understanding and crouched down, keeping even his tail from twitching as he watched the strenge creature poke feelers into the ship.
As they had approached the atmosphere of this planet, the ship had easily made the entry but as they were coming in for a controlled landing, suddent the entire power system went out and the ship hurtled to the ground, powerless. It was still alive, in a technical sense, as it was already beginning to make repairs to the damaged sections, but it was non-responsive to control input. They had been thrown about the interior of the ship when it crashed and Nahuel's body ached but he was more concerned about how Tokala was keeping one of his arms tucked in close, not moving it. He was obviously in pain.
The breather Nahuel wore filtered the air so he could breathe, but it also restricted his ability to smell the environment around him. But just seeing the flakes of ashes in the air and the strange heaviness to the mist convinced him that it would be better by far to keep his mask on. So he watched the thing caress it's feelers all over the ship, testing it to see if it were food. It made Nahuel's blood boil to see something try and taste the living ship, and his biomechanoid armour responded to that anger, thinking he planned to attack. It had felt his jaw stretch into a muzzle and responded accordingly, forming small but sharp thorns on the back of his armour to ward off assault. The arms of one pair were suddenly molding out into claws, one side hooked to grab and the other razor sharp to pierce. The hand that held his main weapon, the spear, remained normal and the final arm seemed to grow sticky pads on the figners and palm, granting him a greater grip.
