"Really? I appreciate your compliments." Sanskar was in his teasing mode keeping corner eyes on his fuming wife.

'Ohh god his american accent.' Swara adored his American accent over the last two weeks. Again one more realization about his quality. 'Not again. Concentrate Swara.'

"Are you free tonight? We can hangout." One of the girls asked flirtingly.

"I would love to but sorry I am not free tonight." Sanskar replied playfully. "I have a date."

"No way please. Do you have a girlfriend?" Girls sulked.

"No, he has a beautiful wife. And he loves his wife from moon to back as a faithful husband." Swara finally spoke with authority, wrapping her hand around her husband's arm.

"Let's go Sanskar." She did not give a single chance for any of them to blurt out even a single word leaving behind pouting girls.

"What was it?" Swara asked fumingly the moment they were out of the court sitting area. "You were openly flirting with those girls. How dare you Sanskar?" She poked her ring finger in his chest.

"Swara, my jhansi ki raani, at last you should be the one who knew, that you have wrapped this Sanskar Maheshwari around your little finger long back." He enveloped his arms around her waist.

"You better keep this in your mind." She spoke intently, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Now are you not concerned about watchful eyes surrounding us?" Sanskar knew his wife's apprehensions of romancing in public, and right now they both were standing at the lounge facility of the club and their romance was treat for on going public.

"I don't care." She tiptoed to kiss his cheek.

"Romantic mood, not bad Mrs. Maheshwari." Sanskar teased. "I am a VVIP member of this club... for sure they can offer us some privacy." He pulled her on his body wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I don't mind." He raised his eye in astonishment hearing her reply. She continued, "What should I do? There is always an effect of the accompaniment." She tiptoed to give a peck on his lips.

"Are you seducing me? For sure I need cold shower now. You can wait in the lounge." He responded, before leaving.

Swara sat on one of the arm chairs of lounge swiping pictures they had clicked over the last two weeks. Her finger halted at one of the pictures, it was her and Sanskar's selfie. Sanskar had captured it three days back.

Three days back, the timeline had opened up the old scars bringing back old memories of that horrendous day. This was the same day a year back she had walked out of their marriage destroying their blissful life.

In the morning she woke up with a severe headache. Last night she couldn't sleep. Early in the morning after long efforts she could sleep for a few hours. Flashes of their breaking moments were haunting, piercing thousands of daggers in her heart. Her mind was surrounded with numerous 'ifs' and 'buts.' over the happenings.

Sanskar had sensed her anguish, without saying a single word he had enveloped her in his embrace. His condition was no different than hers. His mind was blaming him again and again for his outrage on that fateful day. Tears were continuously rolling over his cheeks. None of them spoke even a word but spent the entire night weeping in each other's embrace.

It was Sanskar who woke up first in the morning, when there was a continuous beep sound from his mobile. He picked up his mobile, turning it on silent mode, hitting a message about his absence from office for a day.

He woke up without disturbing her sleep, not before leaving a quick peck on her forehead.

Swara opened her eyes when she felt the loss of his warmth. But severe headache and body pain weakened her will to get up from bed. She kept on tossling staring far.
